Worst service I have ever seen. I wanted the wheel alignment in my mini cooper countryman. They said they can't do it because the front tie rod is bad, and rear shock absorbers are not in great condition. These two parts need to be changed in order to do the wheel alignment and give me a quote of $2600. When I asked my personal mechanic, he said it's not needed, and i was able to do the wheel alignment in a different location. They still charged me $56 just because they checked my car. Recently found out one of my friend went to the same location for the wheel alignment, and they gave a quote for some other parts needed to change. I am not sure this place is actually in business for wheel alignment

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! I took my car in to check brakes and Steve was very rude. First he told me I didn t need brakes and then went out to actually look at the brakes and said I did need them and rotors. Quoted a ridiculously high rate. I didn t know it was too high at the time. I left my car there and got a phone call from Steve and was told the brake locks were not in the car. They did my inspection so they neglected to return brake locks. They couldn t take the tires off to see my brakes. Steve was rude and abusive on the phone and screaming at me because I did not have a car to go there to search for the key to unlock the tires. A neighbor took me there and back. Steve was abusive on the phone and told me to take Uber which I don t do. He then told me to pick up my car and they won t service me. I was upset at first but found out they were over charging me and I didn t need brakes yet. I took my car to the dealer and they told me I didn t need brakes now. I ll get the brakes done before winter. When I got home I searched my car and found papers from my glove compartment missing. They were negligent with my papers and car. I filed police report on missing documents. I will NEVER use them again and I let my neighbors who recommended them know what happened.

Been to Caliper a couple of times. Was a fine establishment but nothing special. Overpriced in my opinion but was convenient for me to go to. Last time I was there I noticed the manager being extremely rude to a woman customer who had asked a couple of simple questions. He was rude enough to the point that I will not return nor will I recommend them to anyone.

I have been going here for years and years. Always reliable and honest place to go to. Used to live in buffalo and now live in queens and always save the visit for anything car related when visiting family and just haven't found a place like them where ever I am living. Highly recommended.

They have always been nice to me no matter which car I have brought in for service. I keep coming back and I see a lot of repeat customers here as well. I trust them. I'd recommend calling and finding out the best day to come for repairs. Some small jobs can be done later in the day without appointment as the big jobs usually need to be in at opening times.

First time there today for a flat fix took almost an hour and charged $37 not even an inside patch . It was just a regular plug . Unbelievable.. maybe they are good but for my experience is not right. Took to long for a small thing that other places get it done in not even 10 minutes. And for a better price.

They are always helpful and available. Excellent service and attention. You pay for what you need not a thing more. Never to busy to help you out and tell you the truth about your vehicle. Even if its something you don't want to hear. They are real mechanics not RIP off artists. Ca t say enough good things about them. Been going to them for many years.I recommend family and friends to use them!

The best place to come for any car maintenance or repairs. I had a bad flat which was plugged by an awful body shop in NJ. They told me I needed a brand new tire, but I didn t trust the guy at all. Came to Caliber and they checked out the tire thoroughly for me. Tire was fine and they fixed the plug that was in the tire. It was a sloppy job the other body shop did and Sean and his guys fixed it up really well and everything is good now. Extra kudos to Sean and the tech, who I don t know his name, for checking on the tire and keeping me and my family safe. You guys are awesome!

Best mechanics and quality service in Rockland County with reasonable rates . they Really treat you like family. Very professional and friendly. I've never had a problem in 35 years at this facility. A great automotive center

It was a two day job but I had to pick my car up the first night to get home. End of day one there was a smear of grease on my car. Upon completion of the job the next day my gas access door was broken, it shouldn t have even been touched. I had used them before and their prices and services seemed reasonable, but not sure I ll go back now.

I brought my Honda Civic in today for the first time at Caliber Auto. Extremely friendly and respectful staff. Didn't have to wait long and I'm very satisfied. I will be bringing my car their from now on.Jan 21, 2018Charlie greeted me this morning, couldn't be more friendly and knew my first name very impressive. Extremely nice man and professional staff. I'll recommend this center to everyone.

Been going to them for year I trust them come all the way from Manhattan with the 2001 Chevy Express during my course of years I've had some issues with the car that they were able to repair at very reasonable pricing

I went in with supplied parts, and they told me they don t usually take customer supplied parts, but they ll make an exception. I asked what the estimated cost would be, they told me they will call me (which they didn t). I came back to the shop about an hour later and they were working on the car without calling me. When everything was finished they charged me a lot of money for bolt on parts. I m a reasonable person, and never have a problem supporting a business. Price was ridiculous and unfair, I will never go back again. If your going to over charge me for supplied parts, at least have the decency to call me and give me a heads up.

It's going on a year that they replaced my tire under manufacture warranty and nothing , over 5 follow-up calls, and never received an answer to receiving a refund on new tire I purchased from them

I had started to make these guys my goto place for our 3 cars. Tires, oil changes general stuff. I had about 4 decent experiences with them so I had stopped competitively shopping each visit etc. The second to last experience ended ok but only because I did allot of work to ensure it did otherwise I would have been out $190 dollars that they said they could not claim under road hazard. The visit yesterday was to buy 4 new tires. I had called and quoted them the Friday before along with checking 2 other locations to find specific tires I was recommended by a friend that works for the dealer. They said they could have the tires and gave me the best price out of the 3 options. I turn up Monday only to get a new price that was significantly higher. Had no idea how the price was wrong. I had even gotten similar services in the past on another car for less money and they confirmed that in the computer and said the prior person gave me a break and did not honor that. Not only was it a hassle but by Monday the second best price option was no longer valid due to timing so I had to go with option 3 and paid about 10% more than I should have. Guess it was better than the 27% more that Caliber was trying to get from me. Last time they get my business.

These guys have always been reliable. I rarely have to wait long for minor things, and they are reasonable with the longer projects. It's tough to find services like this that you can trust so I'm glad they're around.

I used to come here quite a lot.. but the quality of work really went down hill.I asked them to replace my horn and put in new license plate lights. They replaced the horn and never did my lights and they are so sure they did the lights... nope, still out, got a ticket for it now.The next time; now for some reason they were looking for the owners manual in the glove box... well, I went to open the glove box and they broke the hinge on it so now it just falls to the floor and they refuse to take responsibility...The next time; I got an oil change, I drive home and keep smelling burning oil. I open the hood and they forgot to put the oil cap back on my car! Unbelievable.So now I come back to get my license plate lights fixed and they refuse to put in the OEM lights I bought, telling me they only use their own lights. I ve had enough, god knows what else they will do to ruin my car, next time they ll probably replace my brake pads and forget to put the pads back in, who knows... it s like having Clark griswold as my mechanic...

It s so hard to find a shop that won t upcharge and take advantage of you.Came here for a NY State inspection... They failed me due to a small tear on the wipers, broken stabilizer link and a power steering pump leak.The wipers and stabilizer link are valid reasons to fail but the leak in the power steering pump was extremely minor and NOT A SAFETY ISSUE.They quoted me $633 + tax... A ridiculous price that included a bunch of inflated parts/service/labor fees! And can t forget the $37 for the failed inspection!The sales person (Sean) was persistent telling me, if I were you I would definitely spend the money to fix it. Thanks Dickhead but I took my business elsewhere!

Family owned and ran. Two brother dad s are in the shop, with their sons running the counter. Been there a few times and these guys seem honest and competent. I ll be back.

I've been going to these guys for years for both of my cars not just for tires but for most everything about my cars. Brakes complete front end service transmission fluid changes etc. their price reasonable and really know their way around my cars I trust him completely and wouldn't go anywhere else
