Very kind and patient staff- they were able to identify the problem right away. Unfortunately, it was not something they could fix, but they kindly recommended a local place that could do the work and let me hang out in their lounge area while I waited to get towed. I'm from the Bronx so I'm not familiar with the area, but they were hospitable and made me feel comfortable despite being stranded so far from home.

We took our 1997 Chevy S10 here because it was leaking coolant, we also needed an inspection & the gas line fixed. They did the inspection first, then the gas line, and told us that the truck was ready to go and they couldn t figure out why it was leaking coolant. Not even 5 mins down the road the ENGINE BLOWS because there is no coolant (didn t even pop the hood to check if it needed fluids) and the water pump is broken. Called Ben and he said he knew that it was the problem but didn t fix it. They said everything was ready to go and the engine blew and now they won t pay to replace it. Do not bring your vehicle here, you re making a mistake. And this was working with someone they knew personally.EDIT (response to owner) : Prior to bringing in the truck my boyfriend was constantly adding water to it so it wouldn t blow up, there was actually a water bottle where you d be adding the coolant because he lost the cap. (Meanwhile he had no problems when he was constantly adding water to replace the coolant) If you checked the fluid properly why wouldn t you have mentioned anything about the water bottle being there and a missing cap? From my understanding it didn t even look like you popped the hood. I was told something completely different and that you had a kid working on the car.
