Awesome! Very professional and polite technician. No wait immediate service! Technician wasn't pushy trying to sell services I didn't want. Explained every detail of the service provided in detail. Very carefully guided my vehicle into the service bay to avoid damage to my vehicle, and very carefully guided me out of the service bay to avoid damage to my vehicle. I will definitely return to this location for my next service! Excellent!

Valvoline always takes care of my car! But today I felt they went beyond their usual expectation. Evans wasn t truly a big help for me and was very thorough with providing the best service. Nanuet location will always be my preferred destination

Like other Valvolines, it s a staff of inexperienced young mechanics. Okay to take an older car here, but would never bring a newer car I actually care about. I asked the technician to take a look at the coolant level. He stated he did and it should be replaced, but then wrote that it was OK on the invoice. Seemed like he was trying to upsell. The invoice also mentioned that another different service was recommended and that there was an oil leak. Neither of these things were true and were never brought to my attention. I think they can handle a simple oil change, but I wouldn t trust these guys with anything more complex. Don t think I ll come back to this particular location again.

The service was terrible, they were dismissive and incompetant. They could not figure out how change my headlights, a service they offer and I called to make sure they could. When I told them how it was done going under the wheel, they ignored me. Then another employee told them the same thing and they ignored him too.There were three guys under my hood, unscrewing things and ignoring me. Then they just wouldn't do it. The one guy who knew how just plan old refused and the others refused to look it up or watch the youtube video on how to do it.I would never recommend anyone go there because there are other options and locations. I am sure they can change oil, but that is not the only service they claim to offer. Absolutely don't go there for anything else or trust anything they say to you. They don't know anything. And I don't have some crazy exotic car. I have a Honda.

I called to ask if they were open for inspections. They said yes. I drive there to get my car inspected. The big guy says no more inspections today. I said I just talked to someone and they said until 5. He said we stop at 3. I said it s 2:30. He proceeds to get confirmation from the other guys but it was clear they just didn t want to do it for some reason. He then proceeded to be extremely dismissive and had no explanation. I guess they aren t hiring the best here.

nice staff, but the prices are just astronomical. very expensive. First and last time I was serviced there. I'd rather change the oil myself. and you can buy the oil itself at Walmart at a low price!

I was able to get right in, good fast service.The technician that did my oil change didn't put the cover plate back on my engine. Although the Mgr sent someone to my house to reinstall it, this was something that should have never happened in the first place.

I am not sure weather new management has taken over but the service is absolutely horrible at this location. I have been going here for years and have never experience the wait like I do now . My last two visits were nothing close to the speedy services I've received in the past years. This place has gone way down hill from the customer service to the attention to required details when changing oil . the staff could care less... its obvious as u watch them work with soda and chips in hand that they're just there to collect a paycheck. So sad I'll be going to Nyack from now on

I'm going to share what is probably an atypical story. the short version of this is that the employees at this location went out of their way to ensure I was taken care of despite extremely unusual circumstances.I came here to get a regular oil change. While visiting the attendants went through the standard procedure of checking my engine and cabin air filters.When they removed the cabin air filter there was a loud noise of a bunch of things clattering around. Evidently a thieving chipmunk or squirrel had decided to use my cabin air filter has his personal stash for stolen food. About 3 full measuring cups worth of feed corn kernels fell all over the place inside my car and more worryingly into my air conditioner blower motor assembly.The gentlemen at this location helped to disassemble and remove the glove compartment and allowed the use of their shop vac and air compressor to clean out all of the debris.When it was discovered that kernels had lodged themselves into the fan, I was informed that they were unable to help disassemble major parts of a car for liability reasons.However, I am fairly handy and felt comfortable doing it myself and the gentlemen here allowed me the use of some of their tools like screwdrivers and such to be able to accomplish the task.When everything was completed my car was vacuumed out and everything was put back together. I was not charged any extra despite the extra work that was needed to help take care of a situation.I will absolutely visit again if I am in the area the next time I need my oil changed.Attached is a picture of the last bit of corn that I shook out of the fan blower.I hate squirrels.

Richard is a great manager, I came on the 7th for an oil change and one of the added car supplements my car did not accept the fluid and was starting to not accelerate as it should. Professional courteous efficient and thorough. Three person team working collaboratively got me out in a reasonable amount of time. As I said they were thorough. Check tires ac all fluids. Did not try to oversell. Pricing is transparent

Arrogant and rude mechanics. Gave them another chance after they broke my dip stick last year (they paid for it but I had to do all the work to go find it and buy it).I was told by Valvoline Nyack that the staff had changed and that this location was under new management since they were out of the oil my car uses, but it was the same clown show staff in Nanuet. Won t be returning. Praying nothing goes wrong with my car this time.Hot tip: train your staff to not be smirking and scoffing jerks.Service: Oil change

Valvoline has been great over the past 5 years with both our cars. Getting an oil change there is easy and the staff is always friendly. Prices are fair and the service is quick, but they are methodical about checking everything and letting me know if there is anything coming due.

Oil change n service was good. After checking the tire pressure they forgot the tire cap.When I went back for the cap, the worker said I never have it.I was more expecting more like"sorry".Customer service i give them zero.

I have been there before but this time you have to drive the car inside and it was a nightmare they telling you go back so this and that. I told him to drive the car inside because it was like 10 minutes and he said he wanted me to learn. I told him I wasn t interested in learning and I was in a rush and he said that if I wanted I could leave so I left All of them were laughing so loud like if there was a party. NEVER EVER AGAIN.Service: Oil change

I have been taking my car for inspection and oil changes at my local Valvoline for couples years now. But went to the one in Nanuet to to convenience, since I was staying at a friend s for a few days and needed this taken care of. Parked and told them I needed to do inspection and needed an oil change. For beginners, the wait was absurd. I waited for 2:30hours.!!!! While waiting I went to grab a bite. When got back went up to pay and they were charging me for the inspection only. I asked for the oil change, he then said oh, yeah I did that . I left not sure if they performed the job or just charged me for it. I mean they charged me about $89 for it. Outrageous price and poor service. On top of that, they didn t reset my oil light and left my windshield a mess with the stickers. Think twice next time I want to give business to a company you think you know.

Great service on inspections when they complete them. THE PROBLEM? they don't always have an inspection person on staff. We have three cars and often we have had to come back a second and third time for inspections. Do better please!

Excellent service. Very friendly yet professional. Arrived there last minute... they didn't care... they provide the same quality service with a smile... had a bad experience with another Valvoline that's closer to my house.. but decided to try again in a different location... didn't regret it.... There was one staff member that was very kind he helped me move my car and parked it out front. My complaint is I paid $101 for an oil change and when I asked if they could honor there Groupon price (which they would lose more money if I had purchased the Groupon and used it but I digress) now I spent $101 and my car still has the service need light flashing and I dismissed it already 7 times.

Oil change done within 30 minutes while you sit in the car. No issues. They checked fluids, belts, filters, tire pressure and the functioning of lights. Quick and efficient.

The guys that work there are SO FRIENDLY and SO HELPFUL! Walked in at 5 and was out at 5:30. Amazing customer service. Thank you to the guys who checked my engine light and change my oil so quickly at the last minute! Definitely will be coming back.

Amazing. Their oil changes are so quick!! I was in and out in less than 15 minutes! The employees are helpful and never try to scam you like some places! I won't go anywhere else for an oil change!
