Southern Tier Honda is an amazing place. Gary (owner) and Jared (GM) have always been super helpful even though I didn't buy my bike there. As far as customer service is concerned, it's like stepping back 40 years in time. Where else can you go into a dealership of any kind and have the first guy you talk to be the GM and also be the best mechanic you've ever talked to, and who also takes the time to explain things that other dealerships couldn't even understand? Customer service the way it ought to be. Thanks, Southern Tier Honda, A1+++.

Excellent customer service and sales. I'm beyond thrilled with my entire experience to purchase my new 2022 Honda Rebell 1100. My husband and I were set on buying the Honda Rebell 500 and wanted to see in person before our purchase to be sure this was the bike for me. We were headed to Watkins Glen on a quick weekend getaway, and my hubby found a Honda dealer on our route to visit and see the Honda Rebell 500 face to face. This led us to Southern Tier Honda where we met Jared. He was kind and thorough. In fact, he was so nice and patient that he turned us on to the 1100. I was intially hesitant because of the bike being much bigger, or at least I thought. To my surprise, I fell in love with the 1100 immediately and changed my mind.We loved our experience so much that we came back the next weekend to purchase the bike 3 hours out of our way because of the amazing service.Then, we met Gary. This was an additional satisfying experience. He took care of us, sold me a new motorcycle jacket, helped fix our ground wire on the trailer before our travel back, met us on his day off, so we could spend another evening in Watkins Glen, and Jared found us a nice place to stay!We will stay in touch and be back to visit! Very generous prices for hard to find parts. I have an 86 Honda CMX450c. Received cut to code key that worked as well as original all through the mail based on a phone call! And , later, a part that their Honda connection found for us. They are 95 miles from me but I'm headed over to say "Hello. and Thank you!"

Gary is great to deal with. He is honest and knowledgable. Purchased my sons first bike there and it was a great experience. Today I was able to test drive a bike I am interested in. There was no pressure, and was treated well despite the fact I was looking at a budget bike. I am seriously considering bringing my old bike to attempt a trade in as I feel the value will be more respectable than the larger dealerships who treat people who are not buying expensive bikes as second rate citizens. If you want a Honda, this is the right place to go!

I have a 2005 Honda Rancher I needed service on, not shifting properly. I called both the Spencerport and Canandaigua Honda dealers. Canandaigua could not even look at it until Nov 8th (short staff).The Spencerport store never even picked up the phone! My friend in Branchport told me he works with the Watkins Glenn Honda shop allot and they were great. I called SouthernTier Honda, spoke to a couple of the guys at length. That's something in and of itself!. They did their best over the phone but said they would need to see it to be certain. I asked when I could bring it in. They said whenever you want we are busy but will get to it soon. I made the 75+ mile drive from Penfield to Watkins Glenn and boy was I glad I did. They took it right in and said they would call me later in the week. I stopped at a gas station on my way out of town and the phone rings. They said "Turn around we found the issue. It will take us a few more minutes to do the other items you requested but we wanted to save you another trip out here" WOW!!!! Gary the owner and Jared who fixed the wheeler were both top notch. Friendly, helpful, fast and knowledgeable. Gave me some great tips too going forward. I won't take the Rancher anywhere else...they are WELL worth the trip!!

I could not have been any more lucky than to break down near this shop on a long road trip. Not only were these guys kind, patient, and knowledgeable, but they had me back on the road by the next day! My chain was kinking on my motorcycle, and it was determined that I needed a new chain and set of sprockets. While they didn't have it in stock, they were able to order them. When the guys found out that it wasn't going to arrive the next day, they sent one of their employees to pick it up from the UPS distribution center. I was overwhelmed with what they went through to get me back on the road. Absolutely wonderful shop. I wish I had a motorcycle shop like this near my house. Would highly recommend for all motorcycle needs.

Incredible help, service and went the extra, , Extra mile for us. We were broke down, and Glen and his crew got us going the next day by noon!! Found us a hotel, entertainment and relaxation. Thumbs up all around!

I was search for a 2020 Talon 1000X that I could test ride before I made a purchase. I have a local dealer with one but wouldn t allow a test drive. Through searching Honda dealers I found these guys had one, I emailed about a test drive. They own a machine and it was available for a test ride. I was happy to find a dealer with a test ride, it s an hour and a half from my home but well worth the drive for a test ride. Plus I ve never seen the falls in this little town, it s amazing! Gary took the time to show me the operation of the machine and he took me for a quick hell of a ride. Then he let me take it, what an amazing machine. Then I took my wife for a ride, (i didn t go as fast with her...) it s such a fast but smooth handling machine. Sold!! Came back a few days later to pick it up and Jared went over the entire machine with me. From the operation to the maintenance. This two guys do such a good job demonstrating between selling, instruction and maintenance! I would highly recommend this dealership! Thanks Gary and Jared and all the other employees. Oh and by the way we took it out for it first ride yesterday through some tight muddy trails, machine is simply amazing!Thanks Jamie Treffeisen.

We had a very good experience here, my motorcycle had electrical issues that required extensive diagnostics on the bike in the shop to find the bad ground wire. These guys didnt charge me for all the hours they had finding the problem. We knew it would be expensive considering the amount of time they had on the bike in the shop but to our surprise we werent charged the full amount. We also bought a shed from these guys and Todd and Gary were very helpful. We will definetely be back to Southern Tier Honda for our motorcycle needs!!

In an era where people think that everything needs to be purchased online and that customer service is a thing of the past, these guys have it right! I recently went in to purchase a helmet for my son and they were extremely professional and helpful. They looked through their catalog and ordered the perfect color for my son and called me the second it came in. My son is thrilled with the helmet and I with the price and service. Visit these guys if you want great service and a great price. Forget the internet! Shop local. Keep up the great work.

The guys at Southern Tier Honda are great!! I have purchased two new bikes from them over the years and they back up their work 100%. I have NEVER had a problem with them. Highly recommend if you don't just want to be a number in their appointment book.

We purchased a winch and the service was fantastic. The guy at the checkout opened the box and shared best practices for the installation. This is how shopping and customer service used to be and I'm so happy it still exists at this business.

I had a bike issue that had to be fixed immediately. I was on a several hundred mile trip from New Jersey to Canada. I needed a chain and they were the closest shop to the koa we stayed at. A phone call revealed they had the part we needed. They happily with enthusiasm fixed my KTM and got me back on the road for my trip. Price was fair and work performed was top notch right while we waited. The mechanic and staff were friendly and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend if you need a fix or a new bike. Clean shop and show room.

We can from Massachusetts and somehow left the key to the generator at home. Gary and Todd were awesome in helping us with a replacement key. Now we can enjoy the NASCAR race this weekend! Thank you, the Hills

I HIGHLY recommend this HONDA dealer. Gary and crew go WAY beyond what you might expect from a dealer. They have gone outa their way to help me many times over 20 years! Anyone I've sent there has told me how happy they were with the service! They are not the normal HONDA dealer. THE team there is WAY over the top in service.

I want to give a big thanks to Gary and his team! Myself and two others were on a 2 week ride in the north-east, having started in VA and heading to Nova Scotia. We arrived at Southern Tier Honda just before closing on a Friday night, to try to rectify an electrical problem. We discovered I had a tire that was through to the canvas (my bad), but we were still 2 hours from our destination, with few options - the tire was too far gone. They found a tire on the shelf that would work for my Kawasaki, and stayed way-past closing to fit it. Incredibly compassionate and kind. Thank you all! Always grateful to you!

I've been going to STH for years. Never once have I been dissapointed with anything I've ordered or purchased there. From clutches to top end rebuilds to a new helmet, I've never been less than fully satisfied. Any time I need something motorcycle related, I go to Southern Tier Honda. If you want friendly service, these are the guys you go to.

Thanks for the $700 starter and oil change I will never be back and I would tell anyone to go to Ithaca even when you re right up the road! $412+ labor for a starter Disappointing that you didn t lube me up before you bent me over

Took my 2002 honda motorcycle in wasn't running right and didnt sound right. Was pretty sure carbs out of sync and possibly something else. Was told was fine it's just old and I should just run it till it dies. So I took it to to other honda dealers and they both said its something with the carbsLast dealership ended up doing the work( Binghamton Honda ) sure enough the pilot jet was to big and carbs way out of sync charged me a fair price and had my bike back super fast running like a top! Guess who my repair shop is now and guess who will never see 1 penny of my money again?!Shouldn't matter that I ride an older model bike a customer is a customer and should be treated the same regardless what they are riding only good thing that came from my visit here was the back road scenery otw to and back

Very friendly. Low pressure and they really know there stuff. I just got my motorcycle permit and they showed me some good options for starter bikes.
