While driving through Monticello today, I ended up with a flat tire. I was able to inflate the tire and drive to Discount Tire. It was recommended that I go there. They asked me to pull my van into the gauge bay. The took a look at the tire and the gentleman said give me a minute.They plugged the tire and said have a great day. I asked how much do I owe you,and he said it's free. I was already shocked at how quickly they took care of me, then to hear it is free just blew my mind. The staff is professional and knowledgeable. They run this business as a business should be run, with a client-first mindset. If work does not need to be done, they will let you know and won't charge you even if they had to lift your car and examine it. Makes you want to go back.

Wanted to thank the ownership and staff for their prompt and kind help today for one of our staff who got a flat while travelling for work. Our sales reps travel thousands of miles each month and occasionally find themselves with a mechanical issue far from home. This place is super nice and professional! Really fast and talented, the team at Tire Discount found the puncture in my tire quickly and fixed it. They did not even charge me for their services! They only charge for larger fixes. Best tire store in Sullivan County!

Was visiting from out of state and got a flat, found these guys close by. Excellent service, honest, had my tire repaired and its still good 8 months later. This would be my go to shop if i were closer.

Not good for urgent needs, they don't have much tire inventory. Always have to order and wait.

I went today to get a flat tire repaired. The gentleman helping me could not have been more friendly, polite or efficient. He was able to patch the tire free of charge. I was on my way in less than 10 minutes. I'm very impressed!

I was on vacation and had a slow leak in my tire.Stopped in this shop and they not only repaired the tire but they did it at no charge. Hard to believe you get service like that in this day and age. Everyone one there was great and being from out of town you do not know what to expect. Many thanks!

I went in to have a flat checked for a leak early in the morning. The staff was fast and were very accommodating. It was a pleasure to start my day with them as they found the leak, fixed it, then put in on car and returned my spare In its spot. glad I found local people for all my tire needs. Will for sure be back.

I m from out of town and wouldn t normally write a review of a local business, but I had to share a great customer service experience. I took my rental car for repair of a slow leak in one of the tires. They got to it right away and didn t charge anything! I couldn t believe it. Fast, professional, honest. If I lived here, I d come to them for tires and related service.

Brought in a deleted tire. They easily could have told us we needed a new one, but they checked it and patched. Such integrity. They've really earned their reputation. Thanks!

3RD UPDATE:Still no contact. It seems they replied to my 2nd Update with the same response as they did for my 1st Update. Hilarious. They have my email and my cell phone. Read below and go elsewhere.I will update this IF they do reach out to me... otherwise, consider this a shallow apology with no intention of correcting any issue or earning back any trust.2ND UPDATE:Still no contact from the company after I gave them my contact information (as requested). It has been a month. Seems like they care more about responding to a review, rather than responding to their customers.UPDATED:Regarding the company's reply to my review:I sent an email to that address the day after it happened, on Sat 2/24, (since your company is closed on weekends), expressing the issue. I also sent another email on this past Thursday (3/1), after viewing your message, and as requested. To date - no response, whatsoever, to either email.I find it hard to believe a sincerely concerned organization would require more than 9 days to reply, especially since their error could have been catastrophic and after they requested I send an email.ORIGINAL REVIEW:We could have died!! Story: I brought my Volvo in to have the tires rotated on a Friday evening at about 5:30pm. They rotated my tires and I drove away. About 30 mins later (still driving) I started to hear noises from my front, left wheel. I stopped the car to do a quick inspection (wheel didn't seem whobbly and no visual issues). I picked up my wife from the train and an hour later I got back to my home -- at this point the noise was VERY loud. I checked the wheel one more time in my driveway, and noticed ONLY 1 LUG BOLT ON MY FRONT LEFT TIRE (Volvos have lug bolts as opposed to lug nuts)!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME???! For those of you who aren't aware, the lug bolts/nuts are the ONLY thing connecting your wheel to your car. This means they put the lug bolts back on the tire, BUT DIDN'T TIGHTEN THEM!! I drove for an hour on the highway, with my wife in the car, with only 1 lug bolt on our wheel! Our wheel could have flown off at any point and we could have had a devastating crash, possibly even died.To make matters worse:When I brought it back to the Tired Discount Center in Monticello (I bought my own lug bolts and put them on the wheel), I told them what happened, and I DIDN'T EVEN GET AN APOLOGY!! The guy's tone made it seem like it was too hard to believe and I was making it all up.It would have gone a long way for them to at least say "sorry" or "wow, our mistake."I will NEVER go back there, and NEVER refer anyone to them. I urge you all to find another tire center for any tires/repairs.

We came in with a flat. We had a screw in our tire. These awesome folks got us in right away, fixed the tire and had us on our way in no time at all! They didn't even charge us! We were blown away. Thank you again for helping us so quickly as we had a long drive home in front of us.

Horrible customer service and two dudes who worked on my tires were rude as ever and didn t look like they wanted to be there, plus no shine on new tires after they were put on. This place is horrible.

Fixed our flat for free in 10 minutes. It took my wife longer to change our daughter s diaper than it did for them to get us going. Very low key, friendly and fast. Would def go here again.

My experience here was very satisfying. Went in for a single tire and alignment. Fair price for the tire and it was on and balanced in under ten minutes. Then they brought her over to alignment side. The mechanic, Michael, was very straight to the point. Told me you don t need an alignment. Asked if it was pulling to one side, I said no, vibration at higher speeds. He checked it over and came up with tie rod end. Couldn t do it today so I ll have a chance for a second opinion, but I don t think it ll be any different. Point is he could ve just charged me for an unnecessary alignment and told me about the tie rod end. He didn t. And that I appreciate. So I left happy. Well done guys. Thank you and keep up the great work.

Got a complete front and rear Break Job and 4 new tires. Rick the mechanic did a great job, I couldn t be happier with my breaks.Tires are perfect also.I left my car over night and it was ready as planned the next day.Pricing was fair. Service was excellent.

My wife & I drove there from camping in Roscoe riding on a donut. They were very friendly & professional and quick to plug up the tire and send us on our way back home to Brooklyn. I will most definitely make the 2.5hr drive back for serious repairs. Why? You ask? Because they would not charge me for their service... True story.. they didn't charge me for the tire repair. I insisted on them at least accepting a $10 tip. They are not deviant mechanics who try anything to make a buck, and I respect and appreciate that level of integrity. It's hard to find honest mechanics today. Not to mention their bathroom was very clean and smelled be nice. The mechanic that repaired my tire thought I was a missing girl that they're looking for and he was really kind.. You could tell he was sincerely concerned. 5 stars

I called them because I had a leak in my tire. They told me to come right in, and when I got there they got me in immediately. They found the hole and fixed it! No charge and very polite and professional!

Great place and great people. My wife and I were on vacation in the catskills when we got a flat. Went to get a quick plug but we actually needed new tires. When we were told they could do it in 20 minutes we decided to just get new tires. We were going to buy 4 but they were honest and said we only needed to replace the front ones plus they plugged the good one free. Great price, quick and a friendly staff. Highly recommend.

I really did like this place especially after spending thousands of dollars bringing my car there. But last time i will ever do. I go for wheel alignment last week told i can't because my shocks went bad and struts. But i spend over $1800 last year why didn't anyone tell me i will need it done soon. Then one employee tells me my tires bad and i didn't buy them there. When i clearly have a receipt that said otherwise. I'm so disappointed with them there. Only truthful person there is mike
