I have used A & M automotive for close to 25 years now. I cannot recommend them enough! A combination of technical smarts and true and complete honesty is so rare! I would say that the brothers have saved me tons of money over the years by recommending a cheaper option that was to their loss and my benefit. I have recommended them to friends and family over these past 25 years.

I've looking for a right place to take care of my 15 and 16 years old car as a new resident in rockland county since 2021. For now, I decided this is the right place to take care of my cars because my first experience was pretty good. I have been using A&M for over forty years. The prior ownership and especially the current owners, Jay and his brother Yani, are very professional and knowledgeable car people. Most important they are honest and trustworthy. Their service is first rate and I would not trust my cars with any other repair shop. My wife was driving our car and the engine started to overheat. The engine was smoking and she managed to get to A&M. They took her in right away and she was out of there in about 2.5 hrs at an extremely affordable price for the emergency work. I am beyond ecstatic with the service I have received from here. Jay, the owner always got the job done for me, for all three of my vehicles.Him, and his workers are all very friendly, and his prices are all within reason. His intent is to provide the best service, and not to rip off the customer like other places will.Our vehicles were also well taken care off and I trust A&M with them.It's always nice walking in and greeting Jay who always has a smile on his face. My family and I have been going to A&M Automotive for many years. Jay and Yani are truly the best! They always do a wonderful job and are also so kind to explain what they ve done so I understand what s going on. They get everything done as quickly as possible, are often able to find a way to squeeze me in at short notice, and when I come in I am always greeted by name and with a smile. A few years ago I was looking for a good mechanic and my friend shared these guys with me. Not only are they honest but they treat you like family. I remember one of my first times there I was sitting and waiting for work to be done and a gentlemen sitting there with me said he comes from Florida to get services done. I have been taking my cars to Yanni and Jay for a few years now and have found that they are the most knowledgeable, honest, reliable mechanics I have ever used. I would recommend these mechanics to anyone. They are truly a pleasure to deal with and deserve all the praise in the world. Not only are these guys great mechanics, but they are great honest people. The entire staff is very down to earth, easy to talk to and patient with any questions. They are informative and passionate about what they do.I have been coming here whenever we have any issues in the cars. We always had a good experience. Recently when my car was acting up with starter and breaks. I had to take it to A&M Automotive and it didn t disappoint me as well. They knows how to save the $$$s for their customers than ripping them with expensive part replacements and huge labor costs.During last visit when I was in the shop waiting for car to be repaired, I was chatting with a man who said he lived 96 miles away and only trusted his vehicles to this shop. Just can't get any better service than this and I will never take my car anywhere else again. I was travelling from Toronto to New York and unfortunately I had unforeseen car issues. One of my friends recommended me this shop because of the quality of their work. It s been absolutely amazing, Jay and Yani did everything to help me out and they made sure that my car was working 100% before actually telling me it s ready. They are the best!!! Highly recommend for anyone that s experiencing car troubles!
