I was able to walk directly to the shelf find exactly what I needed and pay for it with the nicest sales staff person. Blue stars on his face made for a fun conversation, we had a good laugh and I was Gone in 60 Seconds...That's the way it should be, nice job AAP!

In this age where you can buy anything online, the difference is friendly, knowledgeable customer service and this store definitely has it. Jason helped me find which wipers I needed and even put them on for me. It was a quick, polite, and positive experience. I highly recommend shopping here.

Went here on two ocassions with my Dad on August 30th 2023. First, we went around 5:00PM to pick up front brake pads for my car. Store was clean, person at the register was nice. Highly recommend to order the parts online and click in store pickup, as this is what we did, and it was ready in a reasonable time frame.The 2nd time we went here on August 30th 2023 at around 6:00/6:30pm is because my dad accidentally ordered the brake pads that were for cars with an automatic braking system, which were the wrong ones for my car. A girl helped us, and she was very nice, gave us a refund, and looked for the right brake pads, which luckily they had in stock. We paid the difference and went on our way. Thanks to the girl who helped us! i appreciate it! Probably will be back if we ever need auto parts again!

I called to verify a part was available before I made the 30 minute drive there. Rather than checking for me, the employee said he will call me if it's not available.I show up and my order was never ready. I was the only one in the store and yet I would have been out faster if I grabbed my own things rather than waiting for the employee to get it.

I have a commercial account in longisland and I have no issues coming in and getting what I need. The Staff is super professional and extremely knowledgeable and helped me get the job done.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help you find what you need and answer any questions you may have. Although it isn't a huge store, they always seem to have whatever you're looking for.

Went to get battery test. I had to pull my own battery. Then I brought it into the store and gave them the battery. Less than 2 minutes later the guy who tested it said the battery was good and had no issues. Two red flags: he did not provide me a battery reading and when I asked, he said they do not issue test results. I went to dealer and sure enough. Bad battery, not holding charge. SMH. you had 1 job dude! His supervisor was there. She looked like she wanted to question if he indeed tested the battery.

I am SO happy the people in this location exist!!! About 10 thousand miles ago we replaced our spark plugs from another location in NJ..it turned out we did not have the proper ones thank goodness I wound up at the Monroe Store before I ran out and spent money on things my car obviously did not need..We called in advance, and I was actually about to ramble off the spark plug number that I had (that turned out to be the wrong ones, and the problem!) the person on the phone, caught the problem, looked up the proper plugs for my vehicle, and explained that the ones we had were cool plugs, and they probably were the issue. These people in this store are thorough, and even down to the smallest cheap parts, they understand the importance of every aspect of the car and how it works.Tonight, Kim Soto the store manager helped me out in person. I was especially impressed with her knowledge as a fellow female, I was floored by her amazing knowledge of cars, mechanics, and car parts. She was so knowledgeable about HOW a car works, what parts I needed, and what we needed to troubleshoot the problem.I am very impressed with the staff in this store, and very confident with their skills and knowledge. I highly recommend dealing with this particular location for your car part and repair needs.SO HAPPY!!! I did not just go to the closer place and wind up with the improper part AGAIN! Now I can drive my car and get on with my life! THANK YOU!

We've been in the area six months working on the road. The manager and his crew are more than willing to give professional advice and service. These guys and gals have really made it happen during our stay in Monroe!

Staff is not engaging and oblivious to their surroundings. I was next in line waiting to be helped. Person at register just disappeared, no clue if she went to perform a task or on break or was done with her shift. Regardless she didn't acknowlege me standing in front of her. The other staff member behind the counter, wearing white headphones and scanning parts didn't even hear me ask him if anyone could assist me, yet he was able to hear the phone ring and answered it while I continued to stand by the counter for another 5 minutes. I left without any contact from the "team". With 10 years of customer service experience and management, I would never have my staff perform so poorly to my guests.

The people here all take their jobs serious as the professionals they showed me they are. The staff is out to please, the stock is good and now I saw on TV that if I need an auto testing tool they might even have what need without having to buy it they let you borrow it and I think that is a great idea.

I ve never been so disrespected in all the years I have been going to advance auto and never had a so called manager try to intimidate and I mean tried cause he didn t muscle don t scare me but the unprofessional matter that he handle it was very disgusting customers are suppose to feel safe when dealing with a staff member this is the type of people advance auto represent their business smh they lost me as a customerIt happened today 10-6-19 913 am

Went to purchase a battery, I bought it ask for them to put it in for me the cashier informed me they are not allowed to install due to a Monroe ordinance.i called Auto Zone and they said the would be happy to an nothing about an ordinance Advance lost my business.

My alternator died in Harriman, NY leaving me stranded in an outlet mall on a Saturday. I called Advanced Auto to get a new alternator and they said they didn't have it but would drive twenty minutes north to pick it up at another store! Devan, not only drove to get the alternator, he made sure I had everything I needed to replace it including a ride back to my truck. (I had walked the four miles there so this was an incredible gesture). Not only did Devan go way out of his way on a busy Saturday but he was calm and self assured the whole time. If ya have to break down, let it be in Harriman when Devan is working! Thank you!
