Had a very good buying experience. Jahaira was attentive, knowledgeable, and helped me get the deal on the Tiguan I wanted. Saki, fantastic general manager, listened to all of our requirements, and made sure that our terms were exactly what we needed. The car was ready very quickly, and they made sure that all the details were taken care of. A great buying experience I highly recommend this dealership and the folks there. I walked out of there with a new car and felt like I made new friends and that makes all the difference.

I found a car on CarGurus that I was interested, JOSE RAMIREZ took care of me immediately walking into the dealership. We drove from Fort Drum NY which is a 5 hour drive to make a deal. He was straight forward, no gimmicks and explained everything to the best of his ability. I appreciated the fact that if he didn t know he went to go get the correct answer and not try and feed me wrong information. It s the little things! And he did that so I appreciated his effort for the sale. He also cleaned up and cleaned our current VW as a thank you for our business with him. Best salesman I have been with.

I leased my second car today from Mohegan Lake Volkswagen had the pleasure of working with Jeremiah. He was very welcoming and really understood what I was looking for. He realized right away I wasn t interested in test driving and wanted to get into the numbers. Jeremiah was very patient with waiting for my decision and never felt rushed or pressured. He was very responsive to any questions I had. I told him I was going to be at the dealership in a few minutes he even went above and beyond by coming outside to greet me! Overall, the communication with the team was good and all my questions were answered. However, when we arrived for our appointment, I was told that the person booking my appointment had misinformed me regarding the price of the vehicle. I was told what I saw online was the price. However, that was not true. Ultimately, we were able to work with the team and come to an agreement on pricing but a lot of frustration could have been avoided had it been clearly outlined from the beginning. Having said that, we are pleased with our experience and would feel comfortable recommending Mohegan Lake Volkswagen to others.

Mohegan Lake Volkswagen made it easy to trade in my expiring lease for a new one. They aggressively worked to get me into a much nicer vehicle than I thought I could afford using rebates and discounts. I am very pleased with my new ID4.

Was there 3.5 hours for an oil change. Half way thru I was asked to rotate tires for 29.99, 10 minutes later I was told I need rear brakes for $990. Always a disaster when dealing with service times. Earliest appointment as well.

Did they check my brakes, remove the dust and solve the squeaky problem? Yes! Were they warm and friendly? Not particularly. I also asked if they could please vacuum the inside. Their response was based on availability. They had my car for 24 hours but still didn t vacuum. Disappointed in the overall experience but they did the job.

Just don't bother. Stay away. Maybe they learn better customer service. Never in my car buying expirence have I had the worst gut feeling. I should have listen to my gut. I have been to many dealerships. The Salesperson was nice for one day . So the extra star for that.

Stay away from this dealership. Two years ago they sold me a car that had moderate damage without telling me about it. When I went to trade it in they tried to rip me off saying the car has low value cause of the damage from a previous owner accident that they fixed before they sold it to me. They had one manual jetta that I liked and put a down deposit. It s been 3 weeks since I requested my refund for $500 security down payment. They said they just processed the refund this week, but I still don t have my money. Make a trip to Hudson Valley Volkswagen if you re serious about trading in / buying a car.

After having an awful experience at another VW dealer we took a chance on this dealership and it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in the vibe was relaxed and upbeat. Lucas came up and introduced himself and put us at ease right away. We ended up with a much better car for a much better price than the previous dealership. Lucas was honest, attentive and responded to all of my questions and needs quickly. I would absolutely buy another car here and use Lucas as my salesman!

I leased an Atlas through this dealership on May 22nd 2023. The day I picked it up, I noticed that the GPS was not functioning and the car s wireless phone was also not working. No one could hear me when I called them, but I was able to hear them. I immediately brought the car back to them and despite being a new customer who just picked up a brand new car, they were unable to even diagnose the issue until June 22nd, so nearly a month with no functioning GPS or car phone. During that time I was waiting for my June appointment, I also noticed that other features were not working properly, including the SOS feature, the wireless phone charger and the MyVW program that connects to the mobile app for car data, remote starts, location etc. These are not features critical for the vehicle to run, but I was PAYING for them. Upon completion of the June inspection (nearly a month after I got the car), it was formally diagnosed as having a defective module that was causing all of these features to not work. I was then told that the part was on indefinite back-order , with no info on upcoming availability. I don t fault the dealership for receiving a car from the factory with a defective part, but I consider it a very blatant failure to either not have (or follow) a basic inspection checklist once new inventory arrives. Instead, everyone just assumed nothing was wrong, they put a big red bow on the car in the showroom and just wanted to sell or lease it as quickly as possible, regardless of the vehicles actual condition.The module finally arrived and the car was repaired on September 13th, nearly 4 months later. During that waiting period, I made numerous complaints to the dealership as well as VW s corporate office, looking for some type of credit, claim or any type of resolve, but the dealership felt corporate was responsible and corporate pointed the finger back at the dealership for not spotting the issue - on which I tend to agree. It ultimately lies on the dealership who is selling/leasing cars to ensure they are up to expectations before getting people to sign legally binding contracts and pay for features that they don t even end up getting for 1/3 of a full year. However, no resolve was ever offered by corporate or the dealership, despite the GM, Saki, proposing a Good Faith Claim that he was supposedly going to oversee after the repairs were made. He was so unresponsive by phone, I had to go there in person twice just to try and get an update because my calls and texts would almost always go unanswered. I see the other positive reviews and I can only assume those were on transactions that had no issues. To that I say, anyone can be a manager when it s all going smoothly, but how you actually manage and lead through problems is the true test of how you measure up to the job title, and I was made to feel like I was dealing with someone who absolutely couldn t care less.This dealership was recommended to me by my family. My wife is on her 2nd Tiguan from them and my in-laws have bought a few Audi s at their partner dealership down the road. After this experience, I can confidently say that my wife and I will never use them again.I give 1 Star because 1. I can t give zero and 2. because the Audi dealership they are partners with, always show top notch professionalism and were very helpful during this process, along with Anthony from VW sales - good guy and I enjoyed working with him to lease the car. Apart from that, I regret ever walking through their door.

I had the best experience imaginable at Mohegan Lake Volkswagen! Not only was the staff warm and inviting, they were extremely professional and patient. Kelise and Christine are the best!!!! They answered any and all of my questions thoroughly with grace and poise! Kelise walked me through the many features of my new vehicle, and extended this invaluable gesture even after I have driven off the lot. Christine broke down my financial obligations in a clear and concise manner. If you are looking to purchase a vehicle and hoping for top notch customer service, I highly recommend you paying a visit to Mohegan Lake Volkswagen!!!

From the first phone call to Mohegan Lake Volkswagen with Saki, the General Manager, meeting Jose our Sales Specialist, to Michael in Finance, our experience for purchasing a new vehicle went from an F rating to an A+ rating.After searching for a month and a half, getting lied to and misled by two other dealerships, we were on guard with any dealership after that. We made the 1.5 hr trip to Mohegan Lake and the drive was worth it!Saki greeted us outside and made us feel welcomed. He was friendly, accommodating with hospitality, and gave us immediate attention with the car we came for.Michael is knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and thoughtful in his Finance expertise.They both followed through, kept their word, went out of their way to make our car buying easy, painless, enjoyable with their kind personalities, and made sure that we did not have to make sacrifices.*Final comments : Mohegan Lake Volkswagen first impression was friendly on the phone and in person. Recently went in for a visit, I have been looking for a new car for awhile, I went in and I was met by this awesome employee her name was Karla, she showed me all cars didn t hurry me one bit, she was very understanding she s very informative of all cars was showing me so many and sat with me in all cars, telling me specifics of the cars. Let s just say I m happy with her. And extremely happy that I found my dream car! On top of that she did so much to get me an awesome price!!! I am extremely grateful for Karla and so happy with the work she does.

Never go to their dealership or buy a Volkswagen. I bought a new Atlas and some functions haven t worked since the day I drove it off the lot. I went in at least 10x to fix issues and it s still isn t working. Volkswagen doesn t care, no one responses to inquiries or complaints and the dealership is non-responsive to everything including answering the phone. Buy from a different brand. Would give it zero stars if this review system would allow it.

Overall a great experience buying my first car. Staff were more like friends than salesman, not trying to just sell you a car. Jose in particular is the best! Very professional, knowledgeable and kind. Jose went through every hoop to ensure the process while buying my new car was nothing but smooth.

Do not use this dealer for a certified preowned.After my experience today, I would rather pay full price for a new vehicle . Bait and switch at the lowest possible denominator. Go elsewhere, they added over 3k in absurd fees after i confirmed that i was driving from long island to purchase the car at the advertised dealer price that boasted no additional fees other than tax and title.Chelsea was my point of confirmation to ask any concerns.Upon arrival at the dealership chelsea was not to be found An online, scam do. not go there !!!

VW has given their dealers a tough task: to update the ID.4 1st edition software with very little prior support. Given that, I'd say the most recent management at Mohegan Lake is doing a good job. I was warned to stay away from the battery update (for which there are no parts) - thanks Sim! They did manage to update the software after 4 days.
