I highly recommend coming to Mineola Auto Service Center for all your auto needs. I was able to get my car looked at and serviced on the same day and on a busy Friday at that.Jimmy was very kind and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. He was also very transparent with me, in other words the issue that he thought the car might be having was not it at all and it was something very minor. The price for services is very fair and I was able to get my car in as little as three hours.If you are looking for an automotive service that is quick, efficient, and has fantastic prices then look no further!

I m really happy I found this shop! The owners are so friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone for their good communication skills, customer service, vast knowledge of diagnostic repairs and fair pricing.

These guys are the best. Took a nail out of my tire and plugged it up for only $20, and very graciously didn t charge me extra, even though I accidentally told them the wrong tire so they wasted 45 min looking for the nail

These guys run a tight ship and are the best you can ask for in a repair shop. Jimmy, Sam and Bryan do an absolutely outstanding job and their mechanics are out of this world. The team at Mineola Auto Service Center is great! They are extremely professional and the quality of their work is top notch. They have been maintaining our cars for years, and they keep our cars in excellent condition. Jimmy and Brian have always treated us fairly and we look forward to continuing with them.

I first came across Mineola Auto Service because i had a low tire. Turned out i had a nail in. Not only was I graciously welcomed, I was serviced in no time to fix the issue and was on my way.I returned later for a tune up & AC but also was made aware of a future issue to take care of. I've returned several times for inspection , even advice & referral when it was body work needs and I'm glad the information is straight forward, professional and courteous. Because my car is old, I'm grateful that it is serviced to make it last without discounting its value. TY Mineola Auto Service

I ve been coming here every year to have the NYS car inspection completed. The team is professional, transparent, and timely. They let me know when things might need replacing soon but aren t pushy about it unless it s super concerning.NYS car inspections here cost $37.00 for a sedan.

If you r looking for a Honest place to fix ur car then i d say you found a right place.I work as a car service and limo driver and having a good Mechanic for me is a must.People at Mineola Auto service are professional and Honest and their prices are reasonable.

Just moved here and needed to get inspected. They re a small shop serving mostly locals. Honest prices and the manager is such a great guy. You can tell they value their customers. Will come here again!

Brian and Jimmy are nice but this business is VERY manipulative and shady. Went in for a simple install of a speed sensor. Brian showed me a price online of $180 and a couple days later Jimmy called telling me they're able to order it and it'll cost $400 but no guarantee that the piece will work. Long story short, I looked up the piece online and got it off eBay for $20 (yes you read that right) and had another mechanic install it for around $15. Definitely shop around and don't trust anything they say. It's a shame because I used to go to them for over a year...

I have had nothing but positive experiences at this repair shop. Brian and Jimmy are very professional and trustworthy. Their prices are reasonable and very honest. The place is busy for a reason! Mineola Auto staff always show nothing but the highest levels of courtesy, professionalism, speed, and competence without a hint of rudeness or complaining. One time the owner Brian replaced my key fob battery for free on a day I paid for no other service. I know most of them by first name because they are so friendly. They have removed nail punctures on two occasions, changed oil, done emissions inspection, and drove to my job to pick up my previous car that needed a water pump / alternator. Even when crowded, they are polite. It is a testimony to their Middle Eastern--American culture's hospitality. Sometimes I feel like I have pulled into a 1950s station as they pump my gas and wash my windows.

Moved to Long Island not long ago and needed to find a new place to service my vehicle. I found this shop on Google with many amazing reviews and figured I would give this place a chance. It was hard trusting a different location with mechanics you dont know, but after visiting here, it's become a clear choice. Brian and his staff are amazing and he makes you feel like family, he pays close attention to all details and makes sure that he tells you with complete transparency what is happening and what you can do. I cant say enough good things about this place, other than if you are concerned about going to a new mechanic maybe this review can help ease those fears.

I can't say enough about Brian and his team. I work in the area and have come to Brian for anything from my oil and fluid changes, to tire repairs. Brian is as honest as they come in this business. A perfect example is this: I had bought a new car - same color and model, just a different engine. My second car required a much more specialized filter and oil at a higher price point than what I needed with my previous car, which he realized right away. Before doing ANYTHING, Brian stopped to alert me to the change, went as far as to prove to me the difference between the requirements for each car based on manufacturer's listed requirements, and obtained my permission to proceed. Other service centers would likely have proceeded without warning me at all. They are courteous, patient and fast! If I drop my car off before work for these services, I will have it before I leave for the day, and they offer to drive you to your office in your car! Brian, Jimmy and the whole crew are awesome! Service is truly top notch!

They are the friendliest mechanics I have ever met. Everyone in the shop is nice and friendly. You feel welcomed the second you walk in. I will definitely refer all my friends and family to this place. They are very fast and thorough with their work. They explained everything to me, down to the tiniest detail. I am grateful I went to them with my car problem. Thank You guys!!!!!

I always bring my car here when it needs work done. The guys are friendly and explain stuff to me. My car is 15 years old and they help me keep it in good shape. Had to get more work than usual done this time but they caught an issue that saved me at the very least least hundreds if not taken care of soon enough. Sometimes my car needs practically no work done so it evens out in the end and does't hurt that it is a short walk for me either! :)

Great place, great service. Fair prices. The owner as well as his workers will NEVER jap you. They'll never lie to you just to make a quick buck. The workers are always honest, they'll tell you exactly what needs to be worked on and what doesn't and will call you and run everything by you before touching the car. The workers operate in a timely fashion as well, I've never had to leave my car overnight. Will recommend this place to everyone. Definitely a 5 star hit.

Not only are they honest and reliable they won t charge you unless you find something wrong. James who is professional and honest with you makes you want to come back again. I live in nj and will drive back when something is wrong. Def one of the best auto shops on Long Island! Very sincere, professional and friendly people at this business. Informed me that I did not need anything at the moment for my car and that I can bring it after two months for inspection. They also have full service for gas, attendant cleaned both windshields without me requesting while they filled gas - will go there again.

Had a few issues with my f150 that needed to get taken care of. Brought it into Jimmy and the boys. There mechanic put it up on the lift and was able to show me exactly what was wrong on the spot. Knew it was going to be a couple of days and Jimmy referred me to a rental car place. Overall very happy with how my truck runs after i got it back. Kept me updated through the process. Very professional and quality work. Would recommend.

Had them look at my daughters car after she got ripped off at a Toyota dealer. What a difference! The repair that Toyota wanted over $1500 for turned out to be under $400. He even said how sorry he was that she had been ripped off by the dealer for a starter replacement. Wish we could have brought it to him in the first place. Jimmy is very professional and fair. Had some issues finding a place to get my car (Tesla) inspected. We reached out yesterday and told to bring it in first thing in morning. I did... and they couldnt have been nicer or more efficient before work. Highly recommend!

This place is the perfect example as to why you should always choose small business over the big names. They went above and beyond! Came in early to get a oil change before work and they were more than accommodating. They got the job done quick and I got to work on time. Very professional service as well.

Found me a new car care center. Brought in my newly purchased used car for an inspection. They did a diligent job, covered everything and when I came to pick up the car, they didn't even charge me! Who does that these days? I will definitely be taking my car there from now on.

These guys are great! Very professional, good prices. They take excellent care of their customers and their vehicles. I go there for inspections, oil changes, repairs, and gasoline. Highly recommended.
