John s shop was the third place I visited when I had a steering issue with my Honda Civic. First was the dealership, which was totally clueless. Second was a shop in Queens that wanted me to replace my rack and pinion for nearly $3k after only 35000 miles. Then a friend recommended John for a second opinion, and he traced the problem to another shop s earlier repair that was under warranty. He won my loyalty with his skill and honesty. I live in Manhattan, but I will happily make the trip again in the future.This is a video of him showing me the fitment issue with a strut that was installed during that earlier repair.

Best repair shop there is. I am Chinese and he doesn't discriminate. John is most honest mechanic there is. He is very straightforward. I tell all my friends and family to come here.

Irfan is the best. A mechanic you can trust, and an even better person. Does great work at reasonable prices. One of my cars is at 250k+ miles and running great because of him.

I have been coming here for years and will tell anyone who will listen to go here. It's rare to find an auto mechanic that you can place trust in, and I think that's the most distinguishing feature of this place. I never feel pressured to do more than is necessary for my vehicle maintenance, and the quality care put into the work is evident. Staff is friendly too. I'm consulted on every item before work begins, and always walk out feeling as though I've gotten my money's worth and more.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Nobody takes care of you like this place. They'll make repairs dealerships won't, saving you a fortune on parts alone. What's more is they're always just great people. John is awesome. He was extremely helpful and the work was done the same day! He let me know all of the issues with the car and what needed to be fixed in a no pressure manner. We fixed the most important things first but I will definitely be taking the car back to get the rest of the work done. Customer service is important and John/Mineola auto Care knows good customer service. My wife's car now sounds and runs great and I feel better knowing she is safe on the road. The price was fair as well. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

Went here on a Friday at 6pm, Jimmy was amazing. My corporate car dealership was trying to upsell me on tires/rim due to a leak, this place fixed it up for half the price, a few months later, my fixed tire still working great. Highly recommend this family business.Service: TiresService: Tires

This guy saved my life!I came in because of squeaky brakes that Toyota said were "fine". I came to this garage because I had come to him for my inspection and I really liked him. He checked into the brakes but was shocked to find deep cracks running down both of my back tires. He called me right away and said they were on the verge of exploding. I had just been at Toyota where they charged me a million dollars for replacing the parking brake....and they missed these tires?He also checked into the brakes and did a lot of rust removal and cleaning up, including replacing a cracked "shoe" or something like that. He showed me everything that needed to be replaced or cleaned up. He showed me the tires twice to prove that they were in bad shape.He really cares about the safety of cars, and he wants everyone to be as safe as possible!Prices are about 70% less than Toyota prices, with easier to claim warranty and much better customer service. Plus, I got a 10% discount for being a Northwell employee.Everyone should use this garage!

The best repair shop I have ever used. Been going here for many years and even though I no longer live close by I still service my car with John. Very knowledgeable, honest and accommodating. These guys are straight forward and guarantee their work. The staff are all friendly and helpful and the mechanic's diagnosis and work are on point. I have had them do a lot of work on my car since 2013 and would highly recommend them.

John is an expert mechanic who I trust with both my cars' repairs. I know that John will tell me the problem as is, will propose the most cost-effective solution and will provide me with the highest quality service afterwards. He is very approachable and he takes the time to explain the issues to me, which I really appreciate. I recommend Mineola Auto Care to everyone with a car problem. You will not be disappointed.

As a first timer for an inspection at this service center, I was totally pleased with the service experience. I needed some expected minimum repairs to pass inspection. I was very satisfied with the honesty, fairness of the pricing & speediness to fix. I was extremely happy with my vehicle's performance & therefore, will be using Mineola Auto Care for all my future car care needs!

Went to this auto center twice, on 2 separate occasions. Both times were for a New York State Safety Inspection. Both of my vehicles are 2021 model years and both cars have less than 500 miles, so the cost is $10 each and literally just checking lights, tires and brakes that you can see thru the wheel openings (big spokes), input the mileage and print receipt. No need for OBD hook up. Both times was refused service, shop was quiet and did not seem busy, the person at the counter seemed more interested in their phone call than actually giving me a chance to ask when is a better time to returnWas told respectively its too late and they are closing? Closing 2 hours before the posted time online and at the service center? I just assume they arent interested in such little money. If I had an emergency and had to spend money on repairs, I would not choose this establishment based on my 2 experiences at this establishment

Mineola Auto Care is amazing, manager john saved me huge money since i start using them as my mechanic, i was there when he got phone call from Rich, it is ridiculous that requesting price without showing car, how john can give price, let say he did give the price but car has more issue then what will happen , he should fix the rich car free because he give price without seeing the car!!! dont listen that kind of people and just visit him and see yourself before you decide either good or bad mechanich..

Brought in my 2013 chevy for a/c repair. The service performed was excellent and at a reasonable price. The owner personally took care of me and even offered excellent free advice on additional suggested preventive maintenance. Highly recommended.

I found Mineola Auto Care after a terrible experience at a local Toyota dealer (I won't name names!). John at Mineola Auto Care was extremely helpful and he solved my problem within a day. If you want good quality and honest service for a reasonable price Mineola Auto Care is the place I recommend for you.

Went there at 5:50pm to get a tire plug. A 5 minute job. Guy there said they were closed when the sign says they close at 6:00 when i confroted him about not being 6:00pm, he then said that he had changed his clothes allready!!! What the Freak!!!
