I came to Steve on a weekend when my car got hit by a worker in a parking garage, NYC Parking. He was about to close up shop, minutes away from it, with car parts in his hands from someone he was already working on, and could ve turned me away easily. He STILL found the time to write me up a quote with a great price. I used that quote to take to court when I sued the parking garage. A few months later, I went to an auto body shop who wouldn t even take my car as their quoting system was down and wouldn t even take a look at my vehicle. I felt so defeated, but when I look up, who do I see right across the street? GULLWING! Steve s workers were finishing up outside, so here I come to Steve once again, after a busy workday during the week as he was minutes away from closing up again and he took my car without batting an eyelash! When I picked it up it looked as good as new, and I feel more prepared than ever to get reparations from NYC Parking for what they did to my car. I cannot thank you enough for your amazing work and patience, Steve!! You are the definition of EXCEPTIONAL customer service!

Lou and his son Steve are as true blue as they come. They are old school taught with new age abilities. Most mechanics say just replace or ..it s cheaper to just replace .. These guys will for sure make an I depth analysis or educated guess before settling on these last resort lines.You need a talented, trustworthy, service-oriented father and son team here they are!I bring my 1985 Mercedes hey have done it all replaced engine, re-built my trani as well as odds and ends from electrical to replacing the soft-top to air conditioning .I will always keep coming back.

I own a 93 Mercedes Benz 300E that I needed to have serviced due to a rough running condition. I called in advance and the morning of and was greeted with a pleasant demeanor and a very welcoming atmosphere when I got there. I had a pleasant conversation with Steve and Louis about the establishment and our love of the brand. I felt at ease that my car was in good hands. 3 Hours later I get a phone call from Louis about the issue plaguing my Benz, he offers the quote to repair, it was reasonable and most likely the best quote I would get to perform the repair. I informed Louis that I could not financially take on the repair at this very moment, and after a brief conversation he offered to try and install a temporary fix until I could bring it in for the full repair. This simple act of kindness has really driven home the feelings I had when I first walked into the shop. I truly appreciate the gesture and will be sure to always bring them my car in the future.

Wonderful experience was had today getting an inspection for the insurance company. Would highly recommend checking out gullwing motors for a lovely experience and genuine customer service.

Would give 0 stars if possible, quoted $25 to remove my current wheel and mounting on a spare but they charged me $95 since they had to move TPS from old to new. It should never cost $70 to move the TPS and it should never take 2 hours for 1 wheel switch... The worker also dropped my OEM rim ($600-$900), face-first onto the ground, leaving several scratches and damages without apologizing nor acknowledging his mistakes.

Excellent service. Honest, reliable and the best service I've experienced in many years. Update 2/13/2022, nothing has changed. Still the best service one can find within mineola and a 50 mile radius. Recently had a fender bender, took my car in, and they took care of everything without me dealing with the way insurance companies want you to do things today. You can't do everything online! To many screw up's and more time wasted. They dealt with them, saved me from the stress and incompetence from Geico. They took care of my rental and call me when the car was ready in a timely fashion. I love Lou, Steve and Susan. They are running an outstanding auto shop.

I brought my sons 2010 Nissan Altima in as the car was burning oil. I had done 2 oil changes in the 2-3 weeks prior to bringing it to Gullwing. They were the only ones to figure out the real problem. Very reasonably priced and extremely efficient. Before giving the car back, the owner wanted to make sure that the problem was resolved. I could not be happier with the overall service and experience with Gullwing and would highly recommend.

Trustworthy mechanics. Can fix just about anything. Specialize in older foreign imports, especially Mercedes. Quick turn-around and fair prices. My go-to for all auto service. Highly recommended!

Terrible service. Brought my convertible in to get it checked out and get an estimate, waited for about 2 hours and and the mechanics damaged the convertible switch. The switch was manhandled and broke into many pieces. Pieces were lost and then they refused to put it back together. The owner refuses to take responsibility for his workers mistakes. Bad service, bad coustomer service. Untrustworthy

These guys are the real deal, real mechanics who know what they're doing. Audi and three other garages all recommended a huge expensive job for my Audi but they were able to use their experience to find a better solution. can't thank them enough.

Horribly dishonest people. Your car will go in a gem and come out a piece of junkyard trash. This business breaks countless parts and ruins vehicles beyond repair then claims it was already like that. Basically, I was charged a great deal of money to have them destroy my beautiful automobile.
