I had an amazing experience at Barnwell!Brian, Jeff, and Jon really took care of me, and hooked me up with two new tires. They did a great job, finished everything in no time, and saved me almost $500 (the difference in their price and a quote I got from my regular shop). I will definitely be back!

Had a great experience at Barnwell and would definitely recommend to friends and family. The brothers who own the shop are extremely personable and knowledgable. They were quick to get my car taken care of and handled it with care.I came in for a nail in one tire. It turns out the nail was short and didn't pierce the tire. They subsequently checked all 4 tires to ensure no other issues and adjusted the tire pressures - all at no cost to me as there was no repair needed!Would definitely visit again in the future should another issue arise.

I blew out a tire very close to Mavis tire in Williston Park. Instead of going to Mavis, I drove on my donut the additional two miles to go to Barnwell, because I knew they'd provide good service, and they did. They installed a new tire within minutes, and both people behind the desk were very courteous and helpful. I will definitely go back for service.

I started coming in when my tire had a flat about 5 months And I googled this place and I took a chance and the customer service was top tier. They gave me something to drink and were so friendly and concerned about my car. Now they have a local customer :) and I will keep coming back! Brian and John were so helpful! I went there twice for my tires now they are changing my oil and making sure my car stays in great condition. I would definitely recommend. I love a professional, relatable family business! If you're serious about your cars and want things done right then you have to come here. I've been going here for a few years now, met the new owners who took over from TJ last year and I have to say these guys are stand up dudes who are genuine, customer oriented, and knowledgeable car guys. I'm very particular and picky with how I want things set up with my ride and I was able to speak with one of the new guys about this and he made sure to take detailed notes and provide me with feedback and recommendations for how I should approach different issues. They're NOT pushy sales guys just trying to take your money but instead are genuinely good people who want to make sure you get the most out of your ride while keeping you safe. Came in to get my tires changed and alignment redone after getting them installed a few years ago at the same place and I was met with the utmost professional and friendly service I've had in a long time. Todays experience with them differently ensured that I'll be coming back. Trust worthy, honest, knowledgable, reliable and stand up dudes all around. One of the few places I trust to work on my rig! My entire family has gone to Barnwell for many years. The guys there are very friendly and always provide an honest evaluation and price. Highly recommend! I have had Jeff arrange work on my car and he is excellent. (2013 Ford Explorer)

I met the 3 brothers who own the shop at the local Chamber of Commerce meeting and loved hearing the story about how they opened this Mineola location together. Not long after, I had a flat tire on my way to a business meeting, with little time to spare. I stopped in, hoping they could patch me up fast, so I could get to my client, but I really needed new tires. Instead of letting me pay for a patch and come back for the tires, they got my new tires installed in about 20 minutes and I was on my way and on time for my meeting. They explained all of my tire options and never tried to up or over sell me.

Barnwell Tires came highly recommended by a family member. When I called to get a ballpark amount to replace 4 tires, I was given time to discuss the tire choices I had. Other auto shops I called wanted to see the car to assess the tires (you know the year, make, model, and tire size, so what's to assess?). I spoke to Brian, who was very helpful and friendly. He was able to get the tires I needed and schedule an appointment fairly quickly. When I arrived for the appointment, John looked at the car to see if the tires truly needed to be replaced and if an alignment was necessary. I found Brian and John to be honest, and both had excellent customer services skills. Their prices are fair, the shop looked clean, and the service was quick. I will try Barnwell for other auto services, even though they're not the closest location for me. Honesty and friendliness are uncommon traits these days, especially in the auto industry.I would highly recommend Barnwell Tires.

ordered a tire here and was received in a few hours. when i came in, i was out within half an hour. they also added air to all my other tires as well which was a kind touch! very straightforward process and upfront about costs. i will definitely keep this store in mind for my future car needs!

I had a great experience with the team from Barnwell! Gave them a call on a Monday morning because I needed an emergency repair on very short notice, and they were able to help me no problem. They were eager to help expedite my process, but not in a "we want you out of here" sort of way; I was already running late for my day and getting my car up and running was the last thing I wanted to worry about. And their service was definitely super quick. I was in and out of the shop in not even 30 minutes with my tire repaired and balanced, going on with my day.For sure highly recommend them.

Moved to this area in 2019. I've seen at least two local shops to service my vehicle, Barnwell included. While the other shop is good, and Barnwell is a bit further away, I'll stick to these guys.So far I've gotten (on my 2011 Mazda 3, which is my tough daily commuter) a new tire balanced and installed, new front breaks, serpentine belt, and most recently a new clutch.Communication is awesome. I usually take my car, explain the problem, and within an accorded time get a phone call (I have not waited in the waiting area). I believe these guys are honest and true.The service I received when replacing the clutch was excellent. At diagnosis call I am given an estimated quote, with possible add-ons due to the work performed (they needed to get to the flywheel in order to see if it was damaged). Estimated time frame was two to three days.At early afternoon day two I get the call, happy that a flywheel was not needed. The fact that no unnecessary work was performed speaks great of the business here.I found costs for the repair to be fair market; it met ballpark average costs or so based on my uneducated research when the problem started.Its been about ten days since the new clutch went in. Have commuted a few days into Queens. Zero issues as expected.Great local shop.

I completely forgot to write this review and in this sad negative not so nice world now a days i promised myself to always follow up when their is great above and beyond service and this is one example!This is regarding the service, care, understanding, honest and professional work and actions of Barnwell house of tires in Mineola NY!Let s start with the fact that last October 2023 i already knew I needed new tires and possibly breaks replaced, when I spoke to these two great brothers they looked everything over and were honest with me telling me hold off you can still get some life out of these tires, since money is very tight for me as a single woman with some physical handicaps I was so grateful I could hold off till spring and save up for this expense! This is how these men operate! With caring compassionate honest service! How refreshing this is!! I just went about two weeks ago to get the job done only needed new tires and back brakes they said front were ok! They took me right away and completed the job quickly! I am so grateful for them because honesty and individuals who truly care for their clients is becoming a rare thing! Any car issues, questions or concerns don t hesitate just go to them first you will not be disappointed! I promise you!

One of a kind shop with an amazing staff. Brought them a lifted 4runner for tires, wheels and an alignment and was blown away by the service. Great team, great work definitely would recommend!

Clean place, very fast service. Owners are honest guys and don t try to oversell you on anything.I blew out 1 tire and thought I d need to replace the entire set for an AWD. I drove away with 1 brand new tire and a tire rotation within the afternoon. Very fairly priced.They ll be my go-to mechanic going forward. About as comfortable as you can feel in a shop, knowing nothing about cars. Highly recommended

These guys are great! Fast and excellent service. They have taken care of numerous problems with family's 4 cars. Knowledgeable and they take the time to explain what is being done and happily answer all questions. I recommend them to all of my friends!

I had a great experience at Barnwell House of Tires today. The guys are professional and quick. They ordered the tire quickly and put it on super fast. These guys are the pros. I previously made a mistake buying tires from Costco Tire Center which I would not do again. Costco Tire makes customers wait forever and they don't care. I hope others learn from my experience - Don't go to Costco Tire. Buy your tires at Barnwell!

I live in the area and like to give local businesses a chance. I have seen lots of great reviews so I decided to purchase my new tires at Barnwell. AMAZING! Dont go anywhere else but here. The brothers that own it are super great and helpful. They made the ease of getting new tires a great experience. They even gave me a list of tires with prices to do some research before hand. All around best experience. I will continue to use their place of business and will tell everyone i know that needs tires to go there as well. I love my new tires. Makes my jeep look way cooler. Thanks guys!!

Fantastic tire center. Brought my '24 ITS to swap to cold weather performance all seasons and asked the team to be careful with the balancing weights that came on spare OEM wheels. They mounted and balanced flawlessly, unlike other discount tire centers in the neighborhood that marred up the wheels on my old CTR. The three brothers that run the place are excellent to talk to as well, and I'm happy to do business with them again.

I popped my tire on Saturday early afternoon and was close (and extremely lucky) enough to get to Barnwell. The owners Jeff, his twin brother, and older brother were in the middle of lunch but were truly lifesavers. They cut lunch short to help me get my tire swapped and their prices were great.They re a family owned business who took over Barnwell. They also grew up in the neighborhood so it s nice to see that they are familiar with our community.They were personable and happy to be part of the community. Thank you Barnwell for helping me out and looking forward to bringing my cars for servicing with you when needed.

Came in for a last minute tire repair and could not be more satisfied. My tire was fixed and I was back on the road in under 15 minutes, would highly recommend to anyone needing service. The staff was also awesome, 10/10 customer service!

All the guys at the shop are so nice and helpful, but gotta give a shout out to Marc. I've been coming here for years with problems with my run flats, Marc has always gone above and beyond to always help me out, calling my insurance company to get approval because I have extra tire insurance and I know sometimes he was on the phone with them for quite a while, so he saved me time and money. He would order my tire and call me when it's in . Excellent customer service. Thanks guys!!

Life is good when you have people you can trust to do good work and treat you fairly. Honest & dependable, that's what Barnwell is all about. They have taken great care of my car in two emergency situations right on the spot. I am beyond grateful.

Most definitely the best tire shop in the Mineola and New Hyde Park Area! Went in yesterday to get a single tire changed and was immediately greeted by one of their team members; Mr. Brian. He took a look around my car and after giving it a thorough inspection he told me how it was best to get a brand new set as opposed to just the one tire as the tires I had on were on the car since 2017. This made a lot of sense as the car is a 2018 and it has only had one tire ever changed since its release back in the end of 2017. We walked into the shop and started figuring out which tire brand to use and what would be the most cost effective option. Turns out he was able to find my exact tire and at a cost that was right in the ballpark of the other options. Brian immediately got an order placed for a set of 4 Pirelli s and they were actually delivered by this morning! Around 9:30 this morning when I got a call saying my tires had arrived I was told how my Wheel Lock Key was broken and how if it would be possible to grab a new one. I completely forgot how it had broken the last time it had been used but I grabbed one asap and got it over to them. Within 45 minutes I got a call saying my car was ready to be picked up and I have to say that they genuinely did a fantastic job with it! It s driving a million times better and it feels substantially safer as it was definitely slipping at times before even as an AWD car. The extra tire that I had changed 2 years back was also kept on the side for me to bring back which was great as BMW s don t have spare tires and god forbid I accidentally drive over a nail or glass again then I do have a backup. Thank you so much to the Barnwell team for the amazing work, the great communication, and getting my car back up on the roads within 24 hours.

brought my car here to have my tires swapped, in and out within an hour. very good service, everyone was super friendly and helpful. The waiting area is clean and well lit, and there's coffee while you wait. The owner even made me a fresh pot!there's a driveway in front but it's not for parking, only if they're taking your car in right away. the parking lot is around back.

The worst place I ever been. If you want to pay for a flat tire that can not be fixed en send you out thinking that is good to go. I went there they did a patch on my rear tire yesterday after 45 minutes they told me that the tire was ok so I left an hour later the tire was destroyed because of the bad work they did. I went there this morning and they said that it was my fault because I didn't check if something was wrong with it wen I started to drive and also they do not warranty a patch. Please don't risk your life going on the road if you go to this place very bad work you will also get your wheels scratched. this is the tire after an hour of driving

I had a flat tire and needed it patched. Went on a Saturday morning and there were three people in front of me! They took the car right away and found out the plug I put in was too close to the edge. The patch won't hold and they said it's not worth patching. John was helping me and not once did he try to sell me anything. I could have went on my way to a place in Hempstead to get a $60 tire. I trusted him and he sold me a brand new tire. I checked the price online and it was comparable with install and delivery. Was out of there in a hour and a half. Jon was very nice and kept me informed of everything going on. I would go back for service if needed. Thank you guys!. PS hey John, your dad still selling his car :)
