The customer service I received was phenomenal. Staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, and shout out to Sean, he was amazing. I went in for a brake inspection was given feedback and they were more concerned about my tires being replaced since they were going bad. The night before my appointment I've gotten two flats, and had to get my car tow to their shop. They understood my situation and took care of me. This is my go to shop for now on and I couldn't be happier.

Friday night I hit a pothole and ruined my tire. So, the following day I drove around Middletown for about an hr looking for someone to help me place a full spare on. Every shop I went to told me how busy they were and how they couldn t help. FINALLY I go into Monro shop and John (pretty sure that was his name) explained to me how busy they were, but that they can help me. He asked me to leave the car but quickly realized I didn t have a way around for the car to be dropped off. John told me that they will mount the tire and then call me when they are ready to place. A couple of hrs later i got the phone call and as soon as I get there - car is taken back and in 5 mins they were done! They also placed my spare and tools back in the trunk neatly and I couldn t have been more thankful. Monro - you guys are absolutely amazing especially on a Saturday! Thank you so much! Definitely a 10/10 on everything!

I recently had an exceptional experience at Monroe Auto Service and Tire Center in Middletown, New York. While on my way home from the holidays, my truck had a hanging tailpipe issue, and I decided to stop by the shop for assistance.Even though it was late at night, the team at Monroe Auto Service went above and beyond to help me. Their kindness and professionalism made a significant impact. They promptly addressed the tailpipe problem and ensured I could continue my journey safely.I want to express my sincere gratitude to the staff for their outstanding service. Monroe Auto Service and Tire Center truly exceeded my expectations, providing assistance when I needed it the most. I highly recommend their services to anyone in the area.

Sean and the entire staff at Monro Auto Service take the utmost care and consideration for their customers. We are thankful to have found an auto repair and tire shop that we can entrust our vehicles with, because these vehicles transport not just myself but my precious family about on trips from A to B. Thank you especially to Sean for going above and beyond with such courteous and patient customer service via telephone and in-person. We will be back in the future.

1st time going in. Made an appointment online but arrived early. Asked them if they could see me earlier than my appointment and they took care of my car no problem. Very nice staff. Great customer service.

I never had a problem! I usually get my oil change and inspection here and no matter if I m a walk in or an appointment they still manage to take me. They are quick and don t try to sell me things I don t need! They are just really accommodating as well. Would highly recommend.

On our way home to Vermont after thanksgiving in Pennsylvania, we starting having issues with my truck. Rob and his crew were able to squeeze us in, diagnose the issues, and worked promptly to fix them. Even stayed late on a Sunday to get us back on the road. Very accommodating and nice, considering we had our 5 month old and our dog with us. I wish this were my hometown, everyday mechanic! Would definitely recommend to anyone

I had an 830 am apt for an oil change I get there a few minutes before 830. They take my car in to work on. At least two people come in after me for the same thing with later appointments and leave before me. at this point it was 10 o clock. When I mentioned something he tried to say it was because of where my oil filter was in the wrangler, however, one of the cars that left was also a wrangler. Just an FYI because I m a female does not make me stupid. Myself and my family have been coming here for years, even when I had my other wrangler prior to this one, never had any issues but with what happened today makes me want to stay with the Jeep customer service.

DO NOT COME HERE. DO NOT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT OVER THE PHONE OR ONLINE. THEY ARE NOT ORGANIZED AND WILL NOT SERVICE YOU DESPITE HAVING PROOF OF APPOINTMENT TIME. SEAN AT THE FRONT DESK IS EITHER NEW OR JUST UNRELIABLE. BE CAREFUL. SEEK SERVICE ELSEWHERE.

Don't make an appointment online for tires because they will not honor that appointment. They will reschedule you. Other then that it was a pleasant experience

Had an appt to fix horn. It took 15 min to replace and I was charged 2.1 hrs labor. Also had been told part would be $50 and was charged $80.They wanted me to leave the car but I said I would wait. Don t ever trust them. By staying I knew exactly how long it took. Big rip off. Never again

Never bringing my cars here again... wasted my time trying to get an inspection and the dude said he couldn't because of an oil leak which I had fixed else where because this place is a rip off. Oil leaks have nothing to do with inspections anyway. He said it's on the exhaust which doesn't make sense because my car has a full under carriage cover. How can could you even see that.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Ordered tires through a third party site which were sent there wish I could ve had the work done elsewhere they damaged my wrapped rims and broke the bolts on them and replaced them with different size and colored ones. When I called the company that sent the tires they did some research with this fake mechanic place and claim they had photos that my rims were damaged already which wasn t true. So I had to come out of pocket for the wraps and my own labor to do it again myself. Like other people have stated above about the appointment thing they claim someone called in sick there behind which isn t true. I was told to make an appointment got to my car 2 hrs later waiting there just to have 4 tires put on. Steer clear of this place go to another mechanic or an actual dealership in Middletown trust me there s plenty.

For the second time now, the mechanic would fail to honor our appointment. We have to drive to that place and when we get there the mechanic would say he is alone, someone called in sick and that he can't work on our car. This is ridiculous. Why couldn't he have called us before the appointment and let us know beforehand so we don't have to waste our time driving there?

I am so happy my sister recommended Monro on Dolson Ave in Middletown! I have been there twice now; once for a check engine light and the second for my annual inspection. The staff at this location are so kind and do not pressure you at all like so many car dealerships and service centers in the area do. They tell you like it is and work with you to get your car working properly. I definitely will go back for any further issues or maintenance for my car and will recommend them to others.

I'm new to NY and needed to get my safety/emissions inspection done after registering my car. The staff was friendly and explained the process to me. I was in and out of the shop in under an hour. Great experience.

I absolutely love this place. They're super friendly, fast, and never try to upsell you on anything. They're transparent with their prices and even offered me a water while I wait. I've spent hours upon hours at the dealer or other mechanics waiting for service, but with an appointment, even 100k maintenance only York a half hour

My sons truck broke down and had to get it towed to this establishment. He was leaking anti freeze and overheating. I was hoping that it was an honest mechanics shop, because I was not there to help him. His friends dad was. Either way, it turned out to be a simple fix and they got him back on the road in a couple of hours. They probably could have ripped off an 18yr old, but didn't. I'd love to say that all mechanics are fair, but at least this one was.

The man at the counter was rude. He seemed like he couldn't be bothered to help. I wanted to get front & back breaks, oil change and inspection. He couldn't be bothered to get my information he needed off my car No cars in lot but said he had "alot of cars". I will drive to New Windsor to give them my business. Smh!

Chris and the crew are very courteous, professional non pressure.I have had tire installs, exhaust work and inspections done here.With an appt they are always spot on with service. Price can be negotiated a little. His team are hard working guys even in the 90 degrees the shop was the day I stopped in.. Thanks Monro Auto you have a good group there 10-29-22, Mike.

Very pleasant people working there today. Very honest with what was wrong with my car. Helped me out more than they had to. Will be bringing my car here from now on. Updated 6/4/23: again great service on my car, and on a Sunday. Great guys working there.

Everyone at this location was extremely helpful. When I called they were able to get me a next day appointment, and had my car with exhaust issues in and out within 2 hours. They called and gave updates on the pricing before I picked up. I was super happy with their work, and the price was very fair. Definitely worth it & will be back.

This fine repair shop SAVED us when we had a flat tire 75 miles into an important 250 mile trip. No one else had the unusual size of tire we needed or wanted to fit us in so close to their closing times. Bryan and his crew cheerfully got us back on the road with the right tire in minutes, even though they were very busy and it was getting late. We could not be more pleased and grateful. Highly recommend you check them out!

Took my daughter's car for oil change, had no appointment. There was also issue with exhaust and a pipe had to be replaced. Bryan gave me a fair price and i was out of there in 45 minutes. Been here quite a few times and never had bad experience. But is better to call first
