Went there for my inspection , was told it wouldn't pass unless 2 new tie rods and a new bearing was taken care of. I was given almost 700 estimate, I said no thank you, I'll take it to my own mechanic who i've been going to for 8 years. I ordered the parts took it in and was told there was nothing wrong with my car. I went and got it inspected somewhere else and it passed! The guys there at Middletown Tire lied!!! When I called they had no clue what happened. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of Middletown Tire and Auto.

One of the absolute worst shops in all of Orange County! The owner, Vinny, lost his only qualified mechanic several months ago and the guy remaining, Dave, is too high, and doesn t care or know how to do his job properly. So when he can t fix the actual problem, he decides something else unrelated but easier to fix is actually the problem. And then you end up a bringing it back several times.A friend brought their car here, had the expensive rims scratched and destroyed only for them to replace them with the cheapest option available. As well as I have seen Vinny s incapable mechanics over the years do the above as well as hit customers cars with other customers cars or their own personal vehicles because they aren t competent.98% of the cars he buys on auction have motor knocks, blown motors, or blown head gaskets and yet he will sell you one with full knowledge & without disclosing it, and wait again for you to bring it back.I wouldn t doubt in the next 6 months - year this shop will close due to hopefully lack of qualified staff, and not because their next lawsuit (yes they ve been sued countless times) will be the result of someone being really hurt or worse.

Been going to Vinny ever since my clapped out old Camry broke down with a busted fuel pump. He doesn't bat an eyelash even if you roll in the most sacked out hoopty or a newer BMW, he's an honest guy with a good crew. I know that any one of the ten times a year my wife destroys a rim and tire pulling through a dunkin drive thru I can trust them to sort it out at a good price. Love these guys.

The service was good. However when called in to make an appointment I was told they do tire sensor calibration after I will have my tired switched to new ones. This service was not available and now I have to find another place to do it. Take my time and extra money. Not very pleased with that.

Had my starter go bad and the people at Middletown Tire and Auto took care of me. They provided a tow truck from my house to the shop, replaced the starter, and had me on my way the next day!The starter installed, however, was faulty (not their fault, it was a defective part), and I was once again in a disabled vehicle, this time on private property.They immediately sent out another tow truck to my location, took the car back in, and fixed it the next day with absolutely no extra charge. These people take care of you and I recommend them 100% for your car needs.

Great place to do business! I am relatively new to the area, moving from New Jersey. I used Middletown Auto for NY inspection for my vehicles. They kindly worked me into a time that would fit MY crazy schedule. While there, they so courteously listened to my tales of how hard it is to re-locate ..my frustrations of trying to find new companies, contractors, etc. They took the time to offer me guidance in finding the help I might need .nothing to do with their auto business. Today I needed an oil change. Instead of driving all the way back to New Jersey to have this done, I returned to Middletown Auto. Again, they fit me in. Also again, they helped me above and beyond the oil change. Very professional, great environment, courteous staff, great job. It is such a relief to me I have found them. I will highly recommend, and will use them again for all future auto repair.Service: Oil change

Car didn't pass inspection for fog lights not working, according to nys dmv fog lights aren't included in an inspection check and when trying to articulate that to the guy behind the counter he repeatedly bulldozed me and wouldn't let me get a word in. Didn't recieve a 10 day in my window after they removed my sticker.

Excellent Service. Gabriel and Vinny and the whole entire staff will give you top notch service. Wish I dealt with them 10 yrs ago when I first moved to Middletown. I recommend anyone to go to them. I Put That S**t One Everything!!!!!!

Vinnie and the rest of the crew always took care of me! His dad would drop me off and pick me up from work no problems!! Long overdue review been going to him for years and they have always been amazing! Need a great shop go see him!! Always honest and very professional!!! I'm giving them 10 stars!!! Highly recommend!A Honest mechanic shop. I went to multiple shops and was told to " just purchase a new vehicle ", because my vehicle kept shutting off. Only to find out from this shop and the owner Vinny that my wires were chewed up by field mice. I spent a bunch of money at other shops, but my best dollar was spent at this place.

They got the job done in 24 hours and were more reasonable than the other shops I called. They also dropped me off at Enterprise so I can get a rental, then followed me back to Enterprise the next day to drop the rental off. That's customer service done right.

The Camry 2003 was leaking fuel from the fuel pipeline in the winter weather and they found the leak and replaced it. The car has been Good ever since then.Service: Auto maintenanceService: Auto maintenance

If I had the option of giving this place a zero, then I would. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT do business with Middletown Tire & Auto. Vinny as well as his workers are a bunch of certified CROOKS! Just to name a few: they are deceitful, dishonest, untrustworthy and ignorant. Vinny knowingly sold me a faulty car that started to give unnecessary problems the very next day after the sale. I had to re-visit his shop approximately 6-7 times and call about a hundred million times for him to fix the SAME recurring problems. Why did it have to take this "experience professional" so many try to fix the same problem? An amateur mechanic would have fixed this with his eyes close. Anyways, several weeks went by and the SAME problem occurred again. I brought the car back for him to fix the work that he had patched up and even though we had made eye contact at 7:58am through the bay windows, Vinny told his assistant Andrew to tell me (at 8am) that "He was not in the shop at the moment". Such unprofessional LIARS!!! "Does customer service really count here" uh-huh I don't think so. Prospective customers, I implore you to STAY AWAY. Current customers, proceed with caution.

Very nice people. Got a nail in my tire. Firestone wouldn't help me. I drove to MTA and they had me out within 30 minutes. Great service!

Didnt get service but just stopped by because car felt like it waas running hot. Wonderful guys told me everything was fine.didnt try and take advantage of situation. I appreciated that. I recommend this place!
