Examiner 864 was so great. I was horribly nervous and she was the first and only positive experience I have had with the DMV here in NY. I'm not from NY and I had to get my license again (at 30) and I knew just fine how to drive, but I had failed previous to this test when I took it in Goshen. Honestly she's the best.

all instructors in this place are just mean and they act intimidating on purpose so you can get nervous! The instructors here are super disrespectful and they act like they hate their job and make peoples life miserable! The instructor that took my test was super inconsiderate! She failed me because she yelled last minute to turn left and I reacted from her yelling and made a sudden turn ! I m super disappointed!

I just got done with my road test today and I can say with certainty my instructor is the nicest one you could ever find. She politely greeted my father and as we got into the vehicle she reassured me saying, I shouldn't be nervous and that I'll be just fine. She gave clear instructions and was very patient during my test. I've failed the road test 2 times prior, and even if I fail after getting my results, I am still very much thankful for this blessed woman and her kindness! 11/19/21

The instructor was very unprofessional and aggressive, to the point he even pushed another parent that was there for their child's test. He lied to us on why the test could not be taken by my son and refused to test him. After we called Albany they told us our son should have been able to take the test. This older instructor was not knowledgeable about his job at all and was acting irritated to do his job. My son was very upset, luckily we were able to schedule another road test in a different area for tomorrow. This guy needs to find another job or retire. I'm only giving one star because I have to in order to post this.

The lady who did my drivers test lied about practically everything and made the parallel parking unfair. She had a nasty attitude from the start and didn't even give me a chance to continue the test. After the first road she brought me back to the start and literally just threw the failed paper at me. I do not recommend taking the test with that lady, you might as well go home if u get her. The guys seem like much better test instructors.

Overall quick driving test felt like 5 mins the instructor I read a review about him in a previous post and yes he does live up to his strong and scary exterior. I was super scared like my parallel came out better than I expected lol because he scared me but because of that I was determined to pass. And I did and cried because I taught I had failed so practice be kind to whoever your instructor is and have confidence in yourself. Good luck to everyone

Was not happy with my results.i failed the parallel parking. Fair enough. But the instructor older Indian gentleman added points from other parts which I did great just to fail me for the parking. Before I could make any maneuvers he would say.. Turn right and put on your blinker.... Without any pause and then told me later that he had to tell me to signal???? . I then asked an older man who was also a driving test instructor and he clarified more for me then the tester who overseen my test?. So thank you to him for verification but I really had an unfair shot.i wouldn't mind saying I failed if I made mistakes but it was just the parking so it makes me upset. Everyone who normally drives with me always States how careful and great I am at driving. Either way I'm changing test spots and recommend you guys to be careful if you have this guy.... He talks a lot during the driving which also made me super uncomfortable and nervous. I was destined to fail the minute I got in and he said it was ok if I didn't adjust my mirror and check blinkers.. Like whaaaAaat??Anyway good luck guys

Took my road test today , PASSED. wohooo! literally is a 7minute session and it felt like 2minutes. Waiting wasnt an issue , we were towards the end of the line and it went by fairly fast until it was my turn. I just have to say the personality of the examiner would be nice if adjusted. If i say how are you or have a good day , i would expect a nice response. not to be ignored blatantly. anyways , i will take the license and recommend to others.

Instructor made me nervous and I tried to do things the way I learned and apparently I was doing them wrong. The black woman was also nitpicking everything I was doing, and also says I apparently almost got into an accident but I don t remember when that happened because to me it seemed like I had enough distance between any vehicles I was behind. Just avoid the black woman examiner because she seems very nitpicky

The woman called me a he multiple times, rushed me, and was overall not very nice. I was extremely polite and she gave me attitude the whole time I was driving. Condescendingly saying life is going to be a lot more stressful while I m doing a three point turn isn t the most helpful thing haha.

Apparently I got an automatic fail because I failed to observe but that s the one thing I kept on my mind to do. I made my head movements so obvious and even looked in my blind spots. So I m confused lol.

excellent instructor white lady friendly. not sure about the others . the yorktown and nyack sites are horrible. they are so rude cold and ready to fail you.middletown gives u a chance at least

They are the worst people ever. They are very rude, act intimidating. They are also very racist, I don't recommend going there. I wish those people the worst.

Very horrible instructors instructor lied so I failed my test she had an attitude I felt as if she was biased she said deducted points for things that I actually did correctly to fail me on purpose horrible instructors

Very good ExaminerWhen I was there it was a very long line of cars and I need to wait in the line over a hourBut usually it takes less than a half an hour
