Quickly made two keys for me.Jackie was able to use the guts of the old physically broken key to make a new key. Saved me a bunch of money. And the new key looks brand new. Then, she suggested making a valet key for the second key. She understood that I didn't need a second remote, only a spare in case the main key was lost. Plus she gave me the door code so I could open door if I accidently locked the keys in the car. In a few minutes, I was driving away, and very happy.Great, fast, service. Quicker than the dealer, ( the dealer need hours, ) and a lot, lot, lot cheaper.

Fantastic place, was able to diagnose my car key quickly and even through the troubles of the car not reading it we found a quick solution. Joe also known as Joseph is seems very experienced in what he's doing. He told me has 35 years of experience under his belt, and continues to thrive at his job.Glad we were able to get this done for my backup key.Amazing work.

Where to start, because I have only great things to say about Dash Lock & Key. They are super friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. I went in for an AUDI Q5 Key Fob which I know is not an easy one to program. Well, Joe went up and beyond to get my key cut and programmed and it works just as the original. And the best part: no dealer fees, no long wait and local. Will definitely continue to use their services and refer my friends and family to them.

Just had an amazing experience with staff at Dash Lock and Key. I needed an electronic key made for my vehicle. Joe was very personable and extremely knowledgeable. Forget going to the dealerships if you need a replacement key. Go see Joe and Erin at Dash Lock and Key!!

Had to replace my backup key for my 2015 Subaru Legacy. Joe had me in and out the door with a new key and programmed to my car in 20 minutes. Cheaper and much faster than the dealer. Thanks Joe

Extremely pleased with my experience here. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. Had several keys and fobs made and programmed for my truck. Every single one works flawlessly even though I had no physical key to copy. Service took less than 30 minutes to complete. Would absolutely use them again if I ever have to.

I was in and out.I needed a new remote/key, Joe had one an had it cut and programmed within 10-15 mins. All the doors lock and unlock. The trunk can now be opened remotely. Very great service, would definitely recommend family and friends.

Very impressed with the quick, amazing service from Dash Lock & Key.Joe was the most down to earth person and helped my husband and I set up a key fob for a vehicle purchased.Besides the great service, the price was right! Ford would have charged us so much more. We will definitely use this place again. Oh, and it's location is easy to find :)

Went to Dash Lock and Key to get a replacement for both my key and remote fob for my 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500hd. They had to cut a reverse cut key and program a 5 function fob. I was amazed how much effort this process took and how much time they needed to be devoted to fix my problem. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and capable. This is the second time I have used their services and both time the lowest rating I would give them would be excellent. Their prices are well below what I was quoted by the dealership. Count me as once again a satisfied customer who will used their services anytime I have any type of lock issue....HIGHLY RECOMMEND ***** (5 Star)

OMG. I'm very happy with the service I received. I recommend anyone to use Dash Lock and Key for any Key issues. Very pleasant people and the service was great. I recommend them HIGHLY to anyone. Just don't use the Mobile Key service at all. I was excited when I saw the lady open my car with the key and use the buttons on the key Fob. Great service, great people.

Always have a good experience with this company. Went in today 5/12/23, Jackie was great, friendly and programmed my key within minutes. It wasn't busy either. But she knew what she was doing. Joe came in and assisted with a little guidance, but Jackie had it under control. lol. Thanks.

Dash Lock & Key is great. Jackie was very professional and knowledgeable with what was wrong with the Fob Key. Made sure both Fob Keys were working before I left. Will deal with them again.

I went to Dash Lock & Key to have a replacement remote key made for my 2nd spare key to my 2014 Subaru Impreza that got lost. I had previously visited Dash Lock & Key a month ago to have a key made to just lock and unlock the door to my Subaru Impreza. I called Dash Lock & Key to ask if I could come to their office around 1PM on Friday and have the key made in less than 30 minutes so my visit wouldn't take up my entire 1 hour lunch. The receptionist assured me the key could be done in less than 30 minutes. When I arrived Jackie who is the locksmith greeted me and took my remote key and matched it against another remote key she got from the wall that had over 100 various keys hanging on the wall. She programmed the new key and paired it to my car in around 15 minutes. I was thoroughly impressed with Jackie's efficiency and professionalism. I drove off after paying and in all the process took less than 30 minutes. The price to have the remote key made was less than what a car dealer would charge and the price at Dash Lock & Key was compatible with other Auto Locksmiths in the Hudson Valley area. These people are terrific and very customer service oriented. They duplicated my broken key the first try and I know it wasn't an easy key to match. Always friendly. I highly recommend them and wouldn't trust anybody else for all my locksmithing needs!

Dash lock& key is a great . After time spent on other so called lock smith's trying to get a car key cut and programmed. Dash lock & key did it correct in 15 minutes my wife and I were happy. Just a thought if a person wants to meet you in a parking lot to get your key replacement don't bother to get out of your car. The person has a old white van with magnetic sign on it just leave.

Needed extra key fob and from the moment I called and received a quote to when I went to the store and worked with Joe, the Team was professional and helpful. Joe provided a few options, took the time to fix the damaged existing key fob I had, and programmed the new fob in no time. Would definitely recommend.

We put away our sports car for the winter and then couldn't find the key-fobs for the car now that it's spring.. The dealer said we had to have the car towed to their showroom and then they would have to send the security module away to be reprogrammed. It would take two weeks and cost approximately $1400 plus the towing. We were able to locate Dash Lock & Key and Joe was able to come to our home, made us a new key fob and got us started in less than an hour. While it was expensive, the cost was considerably less than the total cost of having the dealer do it, The service was very convenient and fast. A great solution to a very annoying and vexing problem.

Was quoted $6 a key for a motorcycle. Joe had a hard time cutting them. Without asking me, upped it to $12 a key when I went to pick them up. After spending $40 in keys, they didn't even work. Had to make ANOTHER trip back for them to give me a blank of their own. Wouldn't refund my money or work with me at all.DO NOT RECOMMEND.Edit: If you and your secretary aren't sure on pricing you may want to figure that out. If someone quotes me a price then that's the price it should be. If it changes you should NOTIFY customer prior to just approving the work. If you want to talk about time, let's talk about the 3 TRIPS I had to make to your office. That cost me fuel and my time as well. If you can't cut a key, just say that up front before assuming I want to pay extra because you need to calibrate your equipment (which is the end didn't even work).I said if you were going to charge me $12 for keys I would've ONLY did one. If you're gonna quote me $6 a key, I don't mind doing all 3 that I had. Yes I only needed one but you're the one who quoted me $6 when I called.

I was locked out of my car Show came over and opened it and I was on my way. It didn t cost me that much either. I was happy with the service and there was no damage done to my vehicle. Afterwords I drove and got an extra key and it was well worth getting. Thank you so much dash lock and key more people need to know about you

Great place to get your keys made at. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also duplicate vehicle keys and have key fobs too, just did our 2012 Acadia. Very convenient location near the Dolson Ave shopping center. Joe was great and took care of us right away. Highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed.

Joe and team were such a pleasure to work with. I had an unexpected issue with my ignition getting locked up and never having dealt with this company was so pleasantly surprised with how they took care of me and how quickly. Joe helped me over the phone to get it started and made me feel as though I was a long time customer which was so much appreciated. I know know where I will go for all my key and locks.

Went to 4 different places to make a copy of a scooter key for work, none of them had what I needed. Went to Home Depot and this guy named Bill told me about Dash Lock and Key. I go there and am amazed at the cleanliness and amount of keys this store has. Had exactly what I needed and the amount. Also was able to get my keys stamped too so I know what is what. Fair pricing on the keys, great customer service. This place is great and will be going there for ALL my lock and key needs!

I went to several locations looking for a key that would pair to my car, none of them had even one with or without a remote. I stopped here, they immediately was helped AND they had the proper key, with remotes in stock for my car, too. I got four new keys, two with remotes and I am very satisfied. I told Joe, the wonderful locksmith who helped me, I always lock my keys in my car and I was originally so excited because my new car had the pin that you put in on the door. However, the pin I was given to unlock my doors didn t work. I assumed maybe it was broken and didn t think anything else of it. Joe said it was probably changed at some point. So, right away he pulled up the code for my car and was able to give that to me, too. I got way more than expected in a way shorter time then expected done for my new vehicle. I definitely would recommend.

Joe and Staff were very knowledgeable about my situation. Although there turned out to be a more serious problem with my car, they were able to reprogram my car keys. The price for work done was reasonable and a fraction of what the dealership was going to charge. Dash Lock & Key is a first rate business that can handle any issue from car key programming to removing old safes. I've used them many times and was never disappointed. Joe the owner is dependable, respectful and very knowledgeable about what he's doing.
