If you don't have all day to wait for cashier, do not go to the store although take your sandwiches with you and chair to sit on itYou're gonna wait all day. Nobody worked there one person on a computer and answering the phone. He don't care you staying in the line. I don't think they'd care about your business. They should be out of business..

This shop is on fresh pond road and the lady with blonde hair is nasty rude and unfriendly. She must have been having a bad day before I got there to shop. As she didn't seem to want to assist me and sent me to another advanced auto store which said they don't know why I was sent there without her going the extra mile in calling the store for me. So I wasted a whole day running around to different advance auto stores, trying to get assistance with a scanner code reader. Which they advertise they do for free, but they do not do it at any of the stores so I was subject to false advertisements on a free scanner and the loaner tools as they don't offer that assistance even though they have signs outside the store in the window stating they do...

This store needs new leadership. Everytime i call they keep me on hold for over 45 minutes. I called back they do the same. I called the other day and the girl picks up, I tell her what I need, she puts me on hold for 22 minutes then picks up and hangs up on me. I continue to go here because its convenient but I seriously need to find a new auto parts store cause this is insane! Poor customer service!

Went to pick up Prestone Anti Freeze that I ordered the day before during the Black Friday weekend. Was told that the online order system was down for this Fresh Pond store. The cashier showed me the error message on her screen. I was shocked to see that interface looked like something from 90s when Windows 95 was the norm. How can you operate a business in 2023 where the online ordering goes down during the Black Friday weekend? Will not be surprised that this franchise goes under in 2 years.Had to cancel my online order and bought the same item in store without the online discounts. Yes, they cannot even match their own online discount in store. Later on, I found out that the Home Depot was selling the same Prestone with lower price even compared to Advance Auto's discounted online price.Unless I cannot find the same item somewhere else, this will be the first and last time I visit Advance Auto Parts.

I really appreciated ToniAnn s patience. I had a difficult exchange that the system wasn t allowing. ToniAnn was patient enough to troubleshoot the problem in several different ways and ultimately completed the exchange without me having to take time out of my schedule to come back the next day and speak with a manager. Thank you!!!

More than average - actually unusual - the staff working behind counter pretty knowledgeable. Nice to see they are not there just because they need someone at register.

I went in to buy replacement windshield wipers and the young man behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. He looked up what kind of wipers I needed, then double checked that they would fit on my car before I paid for them. He installed them for me at no cost- great service!

I've just recently got off the phone with whom I assume is the "manager" of the store, her name is Lucy. I suggest you do not try to do any business with her. I have a broken ankle and is just 2 blocks away from the store. I try reason to pick up my ups package with my broken ankle and she assumes that the package is not mine and my injury is fake. She continued to raised her voice and shout many curse words and tell me that I can not get my package nor anyone else can pick up the package. She even went as far to say show up to my store and you will see what will happen. I will report her to the BBB, this woman puts her store to shame. I can't believe what I've just witnessed this morning. This ups package contains a very specific cast that was molded and made for my ankle to heal in.

Unprofessional service and care. I were there in the morning to purchase a fuel injector for my Dodge, once I walk in there was a employee walk toward to the counter so I walk up to him for help with my order but he just pointed his finger to other employee who is helping a customer. He is not doing anything or helping other customers, I spend 10 to 15 minutes waiting in line that he could just help me and save me time to get back to my repair. Also the injector I ordered which is not in stock, the person order it for me and claim it will be in afternoon around 1pm, but never called. I have to call in-store and waited another 10 to 15 minutes on the line any then was told that it was arrived around 2 pm. It is sad that no one seen to take their jobs seriously.

I came in to get a rubber caliber brake line.I gave model and year he rudely said to me I just wasted minutes of his life by not having my plate number I said is ok I live by the minutes and am very content with life he said with the president we have and the crisis were on there s nothing to be happy about. Didn t even try to look for what I asked and dismissed my question. I just left because I felt since am a woman he didn t want to help me or answer any questions awful costumer service never will I ever come in to this or any other establishment of advance auto.I am so disappointed.

The store itself does not have the best inventory compared to the website and other nearby Advanced Auto Parts Stores. As a car guy myself, I love speaking and talking about my and other vehicles, but when you see staff talking with each other about their vehicles and plans rather than assisting customers, it becomes an issue for us customers. I could understand if the conversation was with a customer, but with it going on between staff is just poor service. Only bright side of this store is the very helpful lady who I normally see open the store and their oil and filter options.

Very helpful staff.. , called before arriving and that took some time..., not because of bad service but because they seemed understaffed.When I got there the clerk had my item ready to go but again there was only 2 people working the whole store so it took some time to check out.

Beware of the woman (probably manager of the store named Lucy) who insanely prevent you from picking up in your hands the product you wish to buy !!! I was about to buy carpet cleaner in the can with attached brush. I opened and closed the cup, and she said, " I can't do that". I asked, "what I can not do?" ... and she repeated I can't open a cap of the can. I said I am checking and inspecting the product I wish to purchase.She asked me to leave the store and did not allow selling to me the product. She did not allow selling to me the product by another employee.I feel sorry for the young man who works there who must have kept his mouth shut and was unable to help me by selling me the product I choose. She simply did not allow it. Please note, this is not a first time that a woman who calls herself manager of the store is making problems for me (and not only me). I was once buying wrench keys. Same complaints came from her. She must be removed from the store. She is not capable of performing customer service. She is not doing her job.I went to Pepboys around the corner to make my purchase.#################################################In response to the Advanced Auto Parts owner:First of all, I was offended by store manager Lucy, who was not helpful at all when it comes to customer care ..... What kind of store treats customers by disallowing to touch the product that is on the shelf? You can not take the cup off was her impolite manner and first response to help me choose the right product. Should it be "How may I help you"?I am not going to get to details of whatever as you are saying I was taking the product "completely apart but taking a cup off is not complete disassemble.I must remind you that this is not a first incident with the same Store Manager, Lucy, I dealt with in the same store. In the past I was looking to buy the wrench keys, and I was treated the same exact way. There is lack of customer care.Please go back and analyze the reviews on this store. Make a judgement on your own.

They are not usually super nice (no blame here) but most of the times are very helpful with search for the correct parts, as well as some good suggestions. You can rent the tool sets, but make sure to save physical receipt!

Walked in and asked gentleman behind counter where power steering fluid was located and he directed me to aisle. Picked up and paid for. In and out in 5 minutes. Gentleman was very friendly and professional. Free parking .

It was a great store when Lucy was in charge . Now two new managers are very rude and they don't care about customers at all. Very unprofessional service . There is a Pep Boys store , 2 min walking distance and i m suggesting to do your shopping there. Personnel in Pep Boys are very professional and nice to you. Also Pep Boys have better prices and a lot of discounts .

This store never seems to pull parts when you do an online pickup. Two days back to back I come in for a pickup get to the register and after looking up my order they go to look for the parts. If I wanted to wait I would t have done an pickup order. Store isn t busy so there s no reason why the workers are sitting on their a$$ or standing around when there is work to be done. Now they don t have the part. Had they done their job they would have known before I arrived.

I tried to return bolt extractor in that store. I did some work on my car and I bought it just in case if I may need it I don't need to look around for it. It was in original packing, encapsulated in clear, plastic, never used and you can clearly see that it was never opened as well. Cashier, she tried to tell me that it was opened, then she called store manager and he told me that he cannot accept it because of tool manufacturer policy. I checked later return policy and it said i have 45 days for return (it must be unopened, unused, ect.) I went to different store and I returned it with no problem. I wish, I can rate no star. Be aware of it if you baying at that store.

Walked in today to get a free battery test done to my car, a gentleman behind the counter with his head wrapped and his colleague were at the register and I asked them for the service, told me they no longer provide this service due to Covid and if I wanted my battery checked that I had to bring in my battery. Interesting enough the week before a buddy of mine had went to the store in northern Blvd and they did the job without any hesitation. How exactly do I take out the battery from my car to bring it in? If this is a service s this particular store is not doing, then you should remove your signs that state you provide this service. Or put up signs that state what services are not being done at this particular store. Unprofessional and huge inconvenience to their loyal customers. Not coming here ever again!

They never have online order parts ready for pick up! I never ever received a ready for pick up email. I have ordered online for pick up at this location multiple times and they run around the store looking for the item when I get there to pick it up. If the item is out of stock, they insist that I get a different but similar product such as a different "better" battery.

Great neighborhood auto store. Clean and a friendly staff. Always found what I was looking for. ( )Wait time can be a little long sometimes. The place does get a little crowded from time to time. Never sees more than 2 employees working at the store at any given time. Lots of parking in the area. Good prices!

Not being baised but im here to call out this location for having terrible customer service.If your looking to be ignored while employees rather talk about their cars and modifications and then be given push back for trying to recycle battery or even make a purchase then look no further.I came in to recycle a battery and shop around, ( im going to posting an image so you can see the verbage about the battery recycle program) 1st they right off the bat didnt want to acknowledge that you do in fact offer 10 store credit for recycling the battery, they wanted to know if I bought a battery and had a receipt (obviously for the core charge ) but when I insisted and had to show them the web post then they stood quite reluctant to go ahead untill one cashier decided to go ahead with the transaction.Needless to say you shouldn't be met with this kind of animosity for just trying to make purchase or recycle. If your looking for better help and have to come to this store be prepared .

Advance has many loyal workers. I've been to this site many times and had my problems taken care for me. Suresh who is good at his job can help detect what's wrong and finds the best solution into solving it and having the installation done if it requires its. Lucy is a wonderful women who do her very best in helping each customer as she can. Ex I was short on a part I needed but with her help she was able to work something out for me to have my part at the end of the day ready to be pick up. Ralph is a wonderful manager and alway greets me well. He has good professional skills and is alway on board with his employees. Chris is good person who was able to answer all my questions required with my car parts over the phone. So for me I have a A+ for this location. It's the only advance I would come to in order to have my car material taken car of. So for everyone else who has a problem with this site I think you should open up your eyes a little bit and see what this location team has in helping there fellow customers. I wouldn't stop coming here over bad reviews. Because I know I'm well taken care of by my fellow advance team. Thank you once again for A+ work each one of the employees I meet.

I d really love to know why I m standing outside for a pickup order at 6:20 pm on Sunday and they re closed 40 minutes early .....? Come on. Change your signs it clearly says opened till 7 on Sundays. Doubt advanced auto parts would like to know you end the day early just because.

Not happy with the service , they do not match auto zone prices according to the employee , and dont give first responders a discount .Plenty of similar auto parts that will Honer our business

Sold me a faulty battery and wouldn't give me a refund even though I had to purchase a second battery from the mechanic that I paid to tow me when I was stranded. They offered me store credit but I dont need $175 worth of windshield wipers... I've been dealing with their corporate office now but it's been weeks and I've heard nothing as to their determination. Unfortunately this kind of situation may have protected the company from a small loss but it ultimately costed them a customer.

I only go in here once in awhile when I need something but it's conveniently close to my home and the people inside the store are always very nice and helpful. Never had a bad experience here!
