I was in need of a new battery, but AAA couldn't replace it for me, since they didn't have the battery I needed. They suggested I call autozone instead. Not only did autozone have my battery in stock, but they were also able to replace it for me on a Tuesday night. The person who I spoke with was very quick and efficient with the battery replacement and my car has been working great since. Thanks again!

If I could give 0 stars I would. 1 star is too good for them. The staff is rude and make the customers feel like they are bothering them. I walked in with everyone on the phone. Not even a greeting when I walked in. When I asked for help the so called employee made it seem like I was bothering. I was brought up when someone smiles at you and says hi you respond. I guess these people weren t raised that way. I smiled at one of the employees and he just gave me a blank stare. You really have a few of the best people working in that location. I will never shop at that location again and I will make sure my friends and family won t either. Obviously these employees could care less so you might as well shut it down. All these good reviews have to be friends and family of the workers because I didn t experience any good customer service at all!

Today I called the store around 8pm asking of they had a battery in stock. The employee said yes. I also asked if they do installations as I recently had surgery and am unable to lift over 10lbs. The employee replied yes. Within 20 min I was at the middle Island location. When i walked in two young employees said not one word! The blank stare as someone posted earlier.I stated that I just called about a battery. The employee went to the computer, pulled up the batteries for my car, showed me the prices...then proceeded to say "we can sell you the battery but cannot do the install because of the time". I reiterated that I had just called and you said yes over the phone. He proceeds to say "I didn't know we couldn't do them at night..I just found out". I explained that I had to jump my car to get here and I wouldn't have done so had you told me this over the phone! Seriously, what is wrong with this new generation. No courtesy, no decency..and Im assuming scared of the dark.This kid had not a care in the world about the unfortunate situation he just put me in.I will only return to this location tomorrow to make a complaint in person and will never return again. Just disgusting. Auto Zone do better...and I agree with an older post..corporate needs to pay a visit.

I walked in on the entire staff glued to their phones. I greeted them and told them that I came into get a product I was asked "What do you want?". I told him my business and when the young man asked for help to a supervisor they both were being discourteous to each other, not helping at all. When asked about the return policy they both gave me questionable information. I went to check the website and their information was completely wrong.Corporate should visit.

Very polite and knowledgeable they found what I need in a timely manner and I was out the door with the right product for a great price. Henry is the Man! He goes above and beyond every time I enter the store.

Employee by the name of CJ was very polite, courteous, and informative. He assisted my sister and me with great service. CJ went the extra yard. Autozone should be happy to have him as an employee.

From the first day I came in to even now the guys at AutoZone Middle Island have been professional, knowledgeable, and always willing to help from finding the smallest items to the big ticket items. I love coming to this store because I know I'm going to get a straight answer and if they don't know they won't hesitate to find you the right answer or point you in the right direction to get it. It should be 10 stars because the management and staff deserve it!!!

The owner of the location is an amazing person. My car needed a new motor belt but instead of getting it done which estimated would have costed me 3,000 he let me know straight up it wasn t worth it. He let us keep the car on his property for three days until we settled with a plan!(we moved that weekend) he helped us when we really needed it. Very sweet and amazing guy. He did a test on my car for free too!! Just to make sure it was a motor belt issue. After dropping 1,600 on getting breaks and a few other things done at meineke. He let me know straight up it wasn t worth it at all. Don t get scammed! Come to Aizon. He treated us with full respect.

Needed to jump start my car this morning as my battery died. Got to AutoZone at 730am as they just opened. Bought a new battery and within minutes they installed it for me and I was back on the road !

Chris from this Autozone in Middle Island NY totally rocks! I bought some wipers in another autozone but I was given the wrong one. He not only took the time to look at my vehicle and installed my wipers to make sure they fit. He also understood why my packaging from my previous purchase was messed up. Chris much appreciated. You just made my day!!!

Poor customer service! Walk in for one thing as soon as I came through the door a young employee just stared at me over the counter. So I then Grabbed what I needed and the same employee that look at me earlier was chatting with another person who s not a customer at one of the registers didn t even provided any checkout assistance. so I waited for the elderly employee who was finishing up ringing someone. As I proceed to approach that line, the elder gray haired guy just walked away to chat to another one of the employees who was just sitting on merchandise. I almost turned around to walk out, that s when the same person who stared at me said I m open over here not going back to this location

Coming to this autozone for battery issues and some other things, chris is awesome. Has helped me multiple times and takes the time to figure out the best, easiest and most financial option. Highly recommended compared to other autozones

I sent my girlfriend into the middle island,ny store for a 2005 jeep liberty brake light socket. Have in mind, this is a stock item sold for $11.99. She was told they do not sell that and told her she needed to call junk yards for that part.

Today I had gone there to return and item. A grumpy guy was nasty and insisted I used the part then brought it back. They really don t know how to treat Customers nor talk to them. I think the guys prejudice to people of color. His mother Taught him well.

AutoZone is a great store but the Middle Island location is the best to me. The staff are all knowledgeable and even if they don't have the answer to your question; they don't quit till they help you find the answer. So its a win win for everyone. They get my vote...

They wouldn't let me use my warranty on my battery when it was perfectly under warranty and they had the battery in stock. Went to a different AutoZone and used my warranty. Cheap Bozo's. There are so many autozones near this one do not waste you're time going to this one.

The guy put the wwrong antifreeze in my brand new jeep. Dealer was freaking out. Never ask them which one it is. Find out for yourself the correct fluids for your engine.

i live nearby & this is easily one of the nicest autozones i ve seen on long island. the employees are friendly & helpful. they don t mind explaining things to the less mechanically minded. ordering parts & picking things up is made easy over the phone. i love this autozone

After visiting a few locations, I see that they are uniformly bad. Rude, slow, unmotivated staff. They clearly hate their jobs, and see customers as a nuisance. Clearly, the corporate people never visit their locations.
