I was recommended to D&P from several friends and family. Stopped by and met with Phil and was so impressed with him and his team. His honesty and knowledge was enough for me to feel comfortable buying a car from him. The process was super easy and fast. Phil and Roberta, the two people that helped me with the entire process are awesome. They serviced the car before you get it, with all brand new tires and full brake and engine tune ups. I definetly recommend D&P to anyone who is in the market for a vehicle! Below is a picture of the car I purchased from Phil. 2016 Ford Fusion. I love it

I would recommend D & P Auto Sales. My daughter found the car she had been searching for for months. We drove over 100 miles to get the car. Phil had it impeccable and looking like a new car. New convertible top and tires to boot! Trish took care to explain everything about how to get it registered in our state and do all the paperwork. Thank you all for making my girl ecstatic!!! A+++ experience!

5 stars I d rate them more if I could! I was in the market for a new car and a friend of mine recommended d&p auto to me. She had recently purchased a truck from them and her mom also bought a car from them before and was raving about how amazing her whole experience was and how much she loves her car. The next day on my way home from work I decided to stop by and I m so glad I did! The owner Phil and his team (all family members btw) were so knowledgeable and friendly and I knew from the start he had my best interest in mind. It s hard to find someone in an auto market especially who is honest and trustworthy and Phil checks off all those things. I met with him twice and was in my new 2019 Lexus es 350 ultra luxury car the following week. I m so happy I was introduced to Phil and I highly recommend him to anyone who s in the market for a used car or services on a car they own.

Phil! Phil, Phil. I promised I would leave a review as a token of my gratitude.This guy is the epitome of integrity. I recently had the pleasure of visiting D&P Auto Sales to sell my car. Although I wasn't able to sell it, I left with a newfound respect for the salesperson who assisted me and dealers as a whole. The gentleman was knowledgeable, professional, and made me feel valued as a customer. He works with purpose. The establishment as a whole also impressed me with its commitment to customer satisfaction. I am now confident that when I am in the market for a new car, D&P will be my first choice. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new vehicle.

D &P are nothing but the best! The entire car buying experience was so smooth and the passion that Phil has for cars comes out in the quality of vehicles he owns. After purchasing our vehicle, we brought some small things to his attention and he went above and beyond to fix the issues and didn t charge us. They were able to find the best bank for our loan and we were completely satisfied by the purchase. We will be coming back for our next purchase. Thank you to everyone at D&P!

My husband and I went to this location to consider purchase of a car. This visit was one of those rare experiences where everything seemed so surreal. We dealt with the owner, who showed us the automobiles that were in stock. Phil answered EVERY question we had with great candor, and to the best of his knowledge. My husband is not easily impressed when it comes to car dealers because we've had not so great experiences in the past. My husband was HIGHLY impressed...HIGHLY! The process from start to finish was guided and the stellar service we received has given us confidence to refer friends and family to this place whenever they speak of considering buying a newer car. Needless to say, my husband purchased his SUV here. It is cosmetically gorgeous in and out; runs beautifully and worth every penny...and comes with a very decent warranty. Where can you find that? For as long as we remain in NY, this place will be where we purchase all of our vehicles. Don't overlook this place if you're considering purchasing a vehicle for yourself or your loved ones. You can tell the owner has been doing this for years by the care he demonstrates with all questions and concerns. His knowledge and passion for what he does clearly shows and you will not regret it. This place is great! Perfect quality pre-owned cars and First rate customer service. Detailed mechanically and esthetically. Two year warranty. Honest and straight forward. No hidden costs. Price doesn t change!

Take note that there are no reviews about after sale service. My experience (along with a friend who bought a car from Phil on my recommendation) was very poor. I brought my car in for service due to an engine knocking noise. The car was very close to expiring the 2 year warranty. Phil said he will get back to me with the cost of the repair. After two weeks, I didn't hear from him, so I called and left a message AND that I am now interested in trading my car in with him for a new/used. Still no call back after a week. I called a third time, and again, no call! I finally told the receptionist that I am extremely disappointed and I will be taking my business elsewhere. One would think that Phil would still call after that message to make things right - nope! Do right by me and I will be the most loyal customer for years! So, all that to say, he's fantastic to start but does not follow through on his promises made during the sale.

Great place to buy a dependable pre-owned vehicle. No haggling, no games, no pressure. Great warranty.Cars are fully maintained before they are offered for sale (new brakes, new tires, oil change, tuned up and ready to go). Phils only sells models with proven track records . He stays away from the lemons!After Hurricane Sandy I referred several neighbors to D & P. Several families bought around 6 or 7 cars and all were very happy. At least one became a repeat customer.Highly recommended.

Purchase was really easy and simple. I have to give them that. But I don't own that car no longer because it was rear ended but when I did I had an issue with the instrument cluster and my fuel level sensor. I had Waited 3 months for My car to be repaired. I can be very impatient at times and i can say i was there a lot to see the progress. I was fully aware of where my cluster was because ive done my research on where the instrument cluster rebuilder for my vehicle was, syracuse, NY. The lame excuse i got was the instrument cluster rebuild is 600 dollars and the dealer was getting it done at their expense. After the fact I went to the BP by the dealer to fill up because all my gas was gone because the tank was dropped and my fuel level sensor was working but empty was full and full was empty. They claim they ordered the wrong part as I had the flex fuel variant. Is think a vin would not provide a manufacturer with the wrong fuel type and other options and features within the vehicle. After that I had no interest in going back for any repair work.

We had an excellent experience with Phil at D&P Auto Sales in Merrick! We brought a car (Infiniti QX60) to sell to him and he gave us a very fair price, which was a little higher than the dealerships were offering (since they would have sold to auction) and therefore worth our while to bring it to him instead (where he re-sells it on his lot directly). He made the process so smooth and easy for us and kept his word every step of the way! He kept to the amount originally told to us, didn't pressure us to hand over the car immediately and was so friendly and full of great stories to tell about his experiences in the car industry, too. Highly recommend D&P Auto Sales!

I appreciate all you said in your reply Phil. However, there is never an excuse to not return a customer's calls after several weeks. If you were too busy, have someone else do it! I even left you a message about a trade in for a another car; again you didn't call! I have always been a very loyal customer to local businesses over the years. I do not mind paying for great after sale service. In fact, I referred friends to you; one even purchased a vehicle. He too made several calls to you after the sale that were not returned for WEEKS! I would rather be a happy customer than writing reviews such as this. But the truth must be told. I was and am very disappointed.

The best car dealership in New York. Really friendly sales and service staff. Never feel like your dealing with a used car salesman, Ever....The owner Phil is the most Honest and caring car retailer I have ever seen and meet. I and my family and friends have personally purchased 10 vehicles from them since 2008 and wouldn't go anywhere else. If your in the market for a car or truck or SUV this is the place to go.

Just purchased my fourth car from Phil and the D&P family. Still haven't had a problem with my first purchase, a 2006 Hyundai Tucson for my daughters graduation. I have purchased many cars from many dealers over my 50 years, never have I met a more honest used car salesman. He doesn't deserve the title of a used car dealer because he is more like an old friend, they carry many different makes and models at affordable prices. Go and find out for yourself! Great place to get a pre-owned car. Make this place your first stop. Friendly family owned business, stress-free shopping experience. They warranty the cars they sell so you leave feeling confident with your purchase. I definitely would go back.

Family has been purchasing vehicle's for many years.Purchased pickup this week,great experience as usual.Seemless from picking vehicle to financing to picking up vehicle 6 year old pickup looks like it just came off line at factory.Would highly recommend anyone looking for a quality used vehicle to make D&P there first stop.
