Rude guy with blonde hair assumingely the manager been going to this aap since I moved to bellmore 3 years ago for my regular wrenching and repair needs.( Came to do a oil change and inspection on my bike and needed some essentials )Asked if I could use the bathroom and was given a firm rude no with no politeness or empathy, I explained I ve used it before an he said he didn t care and he didn t know who started letting people do that.Not the friendly environment I look for in my local auto parts shop and will be going to the mom and pop down the block from now on

Great , friendly service. I had to go in today to get Liqui Moly for my BMW just to learn that they possibly discontinued the product. The service i received from this store left me with a phenomenal experience !!!... way to go

The person who works there, his name is Ryan, seems like he is forced to work because he doesn't help you at all in finding the part you want to buy, he doesn't bother to say hello or thank you after your purchase, I don't recommend go there because this guy has no education or desire to work.

I had a great shopping experience in this store on sunrise highway the store was well stocked. I got exactly what I needed and was in-and-out in less than 10 minutes I highly recommend. nothing bad to say about this location staff was very helpful as well

Great experience every time i come to this location because of Josh! He always goes above and beyond to not only help me but other customers in whatever they need. His welcoming and positive attitudes everytime i encounter him give me more reasons to keep returning, he is definitely my go to guy!!

Never greeted when I walked in the door. Sales guy was not busy neither was the woman on the floor. Walked around looking for what I needed and was never offered assistance. Couldn't find it so I finally went up and asked the guy. He said all the tie down straps were getting discontinued so they didn't really have any stock. So I ended up going to a competitor. Pretty bad when staff are not busy and ignore the customer. Great way to drive customers away.

This is the best place to get parts at. The staff is great including a guy named josh and Nash. They perform outstanding customer service and go above and beyond for people. If you ever look up professionalism and customer service up in a dictionary there pictures would be there. The world needs more good people like them.

Great customer service, one employee namedNash helped me immensely, he helped me figure out exactly what I needed and helped with installation too. He also recommended I become a member which immediately saved me money. Very satisfied and will be back.

Fantastic location. Always helpful, especially Josh. I have other expierences with another location close by in that zone and advance auto always comes out on top in terms of customer service. Top notch crew all around. Will continue to go back.

Outstanding sales people work at the Merrick location. They go above and beyond to help the customers. I was just there for a light bulb for my front turn signal, the sales person looked up the proper part on the computer and got me the correct bulb but here s where the good part comes in. Not only did he get the bulb for me, he also handed me a pair of disposable latex gloves so I wouldn t touch the bulb during installation. This is certainly not the first experience I had with this store. Several years ago my car was parked on Sunrise Hwy close to the auto store, my battery went dead. The sales person gave me a jumper to take back to my car but unfortunately the battery was too far gone. The sales person sold me a replacement battery and gave me the tools needed to change my battery. Yeah, that s the class of people you ll find in Advanced auto.

Went here yesterday, highly highly recommend this place. Singh is the man and he was super friendly and just as helpful. He went over the top and even helped me replace my taillight bulbs which was beyond excellent customer service. He talked to me like a friend and knew what he was doing, I really appreciated all of his help. If you get the wonderful opportunity to go here, ask for Singh!

I had the wonderful opportunity to meet a great staff at the Sunrise highway store in Merrick. Suzanne whose polite and kind manner helped me research a battery needed for my Subaru, and James who diligently removed and installed the new batttery. He was fast and efficient. He has great people interaction. And then there is Chuck the manager of this store who assisted me with the expertise , knowledge, and professional mannerisms that made this a great experience. He had given me the confidence and trust in both his products and in the service to his customers. Thank you, all.

Great service at this store. One of the managers, sorry didn t get his name, helped get me what I needed at a discount after what I ordered for pickup was found to be out of stock. Great customer service is so rare these days. I will be returning here whenever I need anything for one of my cars or truck.

Went to get wipers for my vehicle... it looked like the associate wasn't interested in selling as she was her time taking time to look for them. Also, stated before checking that they are out of stock... I asked to please check and let me know what she can find... they had had them I had to install them myself, even though I asked for help.

Arrived just a few minutes after they closed. Was in an emergency situation. Need some radiator stop leak to make it home. Thankfully the worker made an exception and sold me a bottle. I was able to make the 20 mile trip home with a pullover to top off water. Thank you.

Came here to test my battery, Chuck assisted me and he was great. Very friendly, patient and didn't attempt to have me automatically replace it so I can spend money at the store. I wound up deciding to just replace it as he was going to spend 45 minutes testing it for me which he wound up swapping it out as well. Highly recommend this store

I went to Advance to find out what the error code was on my vehicle. I knew the battery was weak also, so I wanted it checked. Dillon not only checked what I requested, but offered to check the alternator as well. As it turns out, I needed a battery -everything else seemed OK. Dillon worked with me on purchasing the battery, cleaned the contacts and installed the battery. Thanks so much Dillon!

I've been to Advance Auto Parts stores all over the country, and have to say the Merrick Store is one of the best. Knowledgeable staff and I always get the right part. I live in Lynbrook and it's worth the trip there.
