Beware of this place's business practices!!!I took my car to this place on Nov 7 ,2023 to get it fixed with a certain check engine light on (with two codes showing on OBDII scanner).The owner called me later on the day and he said it needs two parts need to be ordered and one of them will come in 2 days. I asked him how much this will cost and he said over 800 dollars( to be exact 835). Before going to him I went to my mechanic to learn about all the problems with approximate cost but I had to wait two weeks.so I told him it is very expensive and , if I buy parts can you put them on.He said no and I totally understood that. I said then forget about it. I'll come and get my car thank you.He said if you do that I have to charge you $120 +tax for diagnosis .I told that it is very expensive for just checking the codes telling me what to order. It does not take an hour to do that. I said I will come and talk to you about some reasonable price for the job that you have done.Hang off and next day went his shop.He was not there there was a guy who works there not speaking English tried to communicate with him he finally pull the invoice out and try to tell me if you dont pay the bill no key.I told him call your boss need to talk to him about this and your boss knows that i am coming to pick my car up.while his worker tried to call him for me some other customer came in and he was asking him to open his truck to get his check out from the truck.What I head from the phone conversation from him he was using customer truck without his consent and he was near Moriches be back in the store 15 minutes.I also started to wait to talk to him.When he came I repeat the same thing that I told him on the phone and I said if you can to something reasonable I will definitely pay even I get check in other places free for the job that you have done.He said no .I said I am going to pay and call police to get a report to be able to build a case in Department of Motor Vehicle, BBB,IRS(off the book workers) and INS(employee without working Permit) to show to the neighborhood what have you done to people (especially white man ,women, retired ,living on tight budget )who have no time on their hand and no knowledge about car repair and its cost.what was he basically doing was inflating price and locking people in with high price if they back up on repair decision he charged the 1 hour labor ($120.)so imagine if there are 3 people like that everyday, he makes $360 easy money for the day. Basically he is taking peoples advantages .Ironically, this is my second time going to him with similar issues with different car. That time he was very professional and right on the problem and at very reasonable prices.What I noticed is that he does that when he has less work on his hand he plays that trick on people.The first visit he did not have much work on his hand ,the second time his place was full with parked cars.While I was waiting police officer to arrive he did not even show respect to wait in the store left to the bank and came back 18 minutes later (took for officer to come to the place in 52 minutes) After he came back to store he start talking very unprofessional with some racist remark saying that black people and you guys are always giving me problem I said excuse me now you are being racist and rude .I asked him can you tell me who is you ? (he could not locate my nationality. I am white not born in the USA).He replied you ..where are you from? I said I am Guatemalan (knowing where he is from) he said noo I am Guatemalan (smirking).Then he was mumbling about my education not knowing mechanic and having cheap cars and stuff not knowing that the guy who he was dealing with holds masters degree in business and finance with 23 years retail experience(firing- hiring hundreds with his caliber ) owning small business is going to leave this money hungry crucks running his show without checked.I record all of the conversation in my phone.To be continued

Came in to get my brakes done not only were my brakes smoking after one completely disconnected he then refused to fix the damages and blocked my number don t go here. also jose is very rude and doesn t know how to run a business.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Overall good replacement of my motor mounts, fair price. However, when I drove to work, my cover behind my bumper was scraping on the street. When I went back to tell them, the business owner couldn't be bothered with it. The mechanic told me sorry, they were very busy, it was over looked. So I went to Well-armed, Abi took care of it for $20...!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I normally don t write reviews but since I was amazed with the quality of their service I decided to write a review for others like me. This workshop is one of the best shops I have ever been to. From service to the work they do, it sets standards for other shops.My vehicle s inspection sticker expired few days ago and when I went in to get it done, they did not have any space available at the moment. The Owner, Jose, despite being busy drove with me to another shop and got my vehicle inspected.This was my first time at their location and they absolutely won my heart. I will be going their for any work that needs to be done for my car and also would like to inform others that this is the BEST PLACE on Long Island!!

I found my Mechanic , I had a transmission problem and I took it to a highly recommend transmission place , I was told I needed a new transmission. Decided to take it to pro auto for a second opinion and was told it was the torque convertor , I saved $2,000 dollars and the car runs great, like New. not only did they do the repair but while they had it put air in all tires , vacuum cleaned the inside even the way back, cleaned the mats , grease the doors so they didn't squeak anymore , and topped off fluids. and my wife swears the car has been washed, lol. they are great, couldn't be happier. old time service like it use to be many years ago , rare to find. price was more than fair.

DON T EVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE, Jose did the brakes on my 2016 VW Passat my daughter was driving the car and the BRAKES FAILED DO TO HIS NEGLIGENCE THE REAR CALIPER CAME OFF causing her to hit a pole DON T EVER TRUST HIM WITH YOUR CAR!!!!! Oh and after you bring the issue to his attention he BLOCKS YOUR NUMBER!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

This auto repair shop is one of the best I ever been, the personnel are unbelievable, I got an inspection and oil change and they clean my interior for free, what a nice people, also has a very clean waiting room and bathrooms I would definitely be here all the time I need my car fix thanks Jose for the good treatment
