I brought my jeep cherokee there for a transmission noises. They were able to diagnose it and let me know in a timely fashion. I was very happy with the price time of the work. I would definitely recommend everyone to this shop.

I was recommended to Neptune by a friend and I'm thankful for his recommendation. They told me exactly what my car needed within a few hours of dropping it off. It was fixed by the same evening for a reasonable price. As you all know it's a struggle to find an honest mechanic. So far, so good!

I had a breakdown the first time I ever used Neptune Auto Repair. My car needed repaired, but I didn't know what the issue was. I called them up because they were close and the car couldn't be driven far.They looked car over and called me back advised me of the issue and what the price would be if I wanted to proceed fixing it. I told them to fix the car, I was a happy camper! Also I have now used the repair shop in total four times and each time what was wrong with my car was fixed correctly! If I came in with a problem, no matter what car I brought them, they told me what is what and the price was reasonable. I now call them up if I need something done on my cars. They are friendly and have gone out of their way to help me. I forgot they are very quick to get you back in your car! Stephanie

My engine light came on & John & his men knew what needed to be done. They fixed it fast & even said if it still has a problem bring the car in & they will take care of it. The car is running great but it is good to know they are there if I need them. Great mechanics!

January 11 2024 i stopped in at Neptune automotive to have my exhaust repaired on my Dodge ram, 1500 got a call an hour later from John that the repair was done and was fair priced . I highly recommend, fast, courteous, reliable. I will definitely be returning when next issue arrives. Thanks again John

Definitely miscommunication on my first time here but I went back and they fixed my fuel pump perfectly and only one one day. They called and kept in contact the whole time and over all was great experience. Thank you again.

Excellent service, staff and prices. They took my car in the same day after someone else told me an astronomical price, they beat it, and did it within 4 hrs. Definitely found a new mechanic. Thank you!

I've been using this shop for the last 5 years and let me tell you...I have zero regrets. John and Diego are top notch. Both are very knowledgeable, professional, honest and trustworthy mechanics They've always gone above and beyond to get work done fast and efficiently. They stand by there work and you never have to worry about whether the job was done correctly...!! Best mechanic shop on the island and it's local community. Super honest and trustworthy mechanics. Always best advice and they tell you exactly what your car needs and doesn't. They won't add stuff on unless your car actually needs it. I say it's worth driving far away if you want the real deal with a problem with your car. Thank you neptune auto repair!!!

Each time I ve brought my car here they have done the right thing. All repairs have been good, they are honest and have advised when the repair wasn t necessary very nice and fair shop.

Other auto shops need to take notes from these guys! I needed a last second inspection. These guys took care of it in minutes. And unlike most other shops, they did not try to get more money by lying about the car. Their work is honest and the prices are very fair. I highly recommend them.

I've been living here for 30 plus years, and I never even noticed this place. It it tucked away behind Jimmy's Diner. I needed an inspection ASAP, and I was in and out in 15 minutes.

I love this place! John and Diego are always very efficient, they are very communicative with what needs to be done/what they are going to do/how long it will take, and they try to get you the best deals possible! My car was grinding so bad and I was having trouble breaking.. I called up Neptune and they had me bring right in. They replaced my brakes and rotors same day. They were SO friendly and very helpful! Truly happy I found them.. highly recommended!!!I will be going to them with any auto issues going forward for sure.-KatieService: Brakes

I moved out here from west islip about 10 years ago and John has kept my cars alive. I usually don't post and didn't want to do this unless I was sure John could be trusted. He kept my 2008 cobalt and durango going even after I was ready to get rid of them. Domingo is also a great mechanic. I recommended them to my son in law and he loves them to. In this world we live in no one is 100 percent and we all know we cant' please everyone. John and Domingo have gained my trust and i highly recommend them.Services: Electrical repair, Exhaust, Tires

I took my rav 4 in yesterday at 11 am the owner took my car in right away and did amazing work he even fixed my bumper with no charge, most people are not like him & his shops u can tell he cares about people and he does not let greed run him I would advice anyone to go to him if they want there car done fast with great prices I will always be taking my car to him.Service: Brakes

I ve been struggling with issues with my car for weeks now that other places couldn t figure out and/or wanted to way over charge me. Took it here and right away they diagnosed the issue, fixed it quickly, and gave extremely fair pricing. So grateful for such a great shop!

My husband had his car inspected at Neptune and we were so so happy with the service. Each staff member was so kind and willing to answer any of our questions. His car was inspected super quickly and the pricing was great for what we had done. Thank you so much Neptune for a great experience! We will definitely be coming back!
