Just picked up my 2013 Optima. There was something wrong with my steering wheel. Some other minor things needed to be checked out. My car feels brand new! Did not try to get anything else out of me. Highly recommend! Honest and affordable! Thank you Charlie and Keith!

I found Gabe's online and they were able to get me in Saturday. He fixed the check engine light issue quickly and did not over charge. Seems fair and honest. I will definitely bring my car back next time I need work done.

Customer service & honesty IS top notch at Gabes. The electrical issue on my 2014 Genesis was diagnosed and repaired relatively quickly. I highly recommend Gabes for all your car care needs.

Excellent repair shop. Honest workers never felt ripped off or forced to do any unnecessary work on the car. I will definitely continue going here for my repairs. Just wish they sold used cars too.

I love Gabes. I've been going to Gabes for 10 years now. He is the most honest man in Auto Repair. He has a passion for cars and he is a great guy to do business with. His new shop is beautiful, organized and clean. I wouldn't dare think of going anywhere else. Gabes is the best.

Replaced my alternator no questions asked. Good service. Seems to be doing fine however I can only give 3 stars because today my battery terminal came loose on its own, which means it wasn't properly retightened after the replacement.Hoping my AC compressor and alternator are on tight enough!

I stopped in on my day off to see if they could inspect my car. He asked what type of car. I told him it's an MGB. He said they were too busy and asked if I could bring my car in on Thursday. I said sure. I asked if it was OK to drop the car off on Wednesday before they closed, and he said sure.So here I am on Thursday, I stopped inAnd he greats me by saying. Is that your small car. I answer yes. He says, I don't think I can help you." No one works here. That could fit in that car" I told him on Tuesday what type of car it was. And reminded him that we talked on Tuesday. And that I left work 2 hours early to make sure I got there before they closed. He did not even car, and the n he got very snippy and nasty.If I was such a nice guy, I would have told him that it is not my fault you're too fat to fit in my car. But in stead, I stormed out and left. Lost 2 hours of work. This is how they treat new customers.STAY AWAY POOR MANORS

As a marine mechanic I am capable of doing my own repairs 90% of the time. However I don t always have the time to fix my own stuff. Gabe s auto is one of the few mechanics I fully trust with any of my vehicles. Gabe and his staff are very thorough on anything I have ever brought in for them to fix from work vans to a Camry. They have very reasonable prices and use quality parts. I highly recommend anyone and everyOne to go there when they ask if I know of any automotive mechanics! Terrible auto shop. Convenient for those who live nearby but they seem like the type to nickel and dime with fake diagnoses. They seem to miss things as well.I had leaking ATF and mentioned I'm getting rough shifts on an automatic but they said everything looked fine. I also asked for them to top up fluids like brake and power steering but they didn't even touch any of the reservoirs!The last time I went to them was for an inspection. They told me I needed new brake, rotors, and pads. They charged me over market rate but I agreed out of convenience since I was already there. Came back a few months later for an oil change and they told me I needed new brakes and rotors. They said whoever did them before must've did a horrible job because they didn't look replaced. Yeah, guess who did them? lol. Did they even do the work? I took my car elsewhere.I've since moved but I'm glad I don't have to deal with shady LI mechanics anymore. Shops like these give mechanics a bad name. It's one thing to miss a diagnosis and another to scam customers for money on issues that don't exist or work that wasn't done.

Great price, but when I went to pick up my car they argued that I never called, then when proven wrong I got no apology. My bill included a front end noise check which they had no info on. They checked it right when I was there to pick it up named a few issues I didn't think could be responsible for the noise.

I ve been using Gabes for over 15 years because I trust them. He has always been honest with me and fair with pricing. I am neurotic about my brakes and he has never taken advantage of that. He will tell me that they are fine and he readjusts them for me knowing I like my brakes tight. Other places would just replace them and make a quick buck. I ve brought my car to places for tires and such and they try and sell me some song and dance about all these things I need but under scrutiny they can t answer my questions. Gabe always answers my questions with honesty. Although it is rare if something has gone wrong with a repair he has made he has always stood behind it and made it right. I highly recommend them.

Always a pleasant experience over here. Prices are fair and timing is excellent. Very sincere and honestly care about their customers. My father is a mechanic of 40+ years but his shop is too far for me to go to. This is the best alternative out there!! Thank you for you're continued service.

I was told by word of mouth about this place and I've been there several times throughout the 5 years that I've lived in the neighborhood. The mark of this place is integrity and exceptional work done for truly fair prices. You can't go wrong here especially because honesty is rule #1!

I brought my truck to this shop blowing coolant. Left the truck for a day said they changed bottom hose. Brought the truck straight to work and looked under the hood same old hose on there and now leaking major from my radiator. Same exact problem guy charged me 150$ to do nothing. Should have known his front shop window wasn t broken because he s a super honest guy. Then when I called him for help explaining the problem he was very rude and short tempered with me like I did something wrong.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I ve grown up with mechanics in my family. To say the least I am very weary to trust anyone else. Gabes has been always professional. From the time I walk in the door to the time I leave. I love that a diagnosis cost in deducted if repair is done there. Would highly recommend to all.

Got my car towed there bc it wouldn t start. The guy checked it out and the lady at the front desk said it would cost 25 dollars to take it back without getting any work done. Or it would be 110 to get the battery replaced. I called my other mechanic who installed the battery and they told me the battery is under a warranty. Gabe s auto installed the battery, WHICH WAS FREE (because it got replaced by the warranty...someone from the battery company went so far as to go drop it off at their shop) and they charged me 85 dollars. The lady at the front desk said that is their hourly fee. So apparently these people install batteries that are really cheap at 25 dollars. OR they just overcharge you if you are under a warranty and you don t use their inventory. I would get your car worked on elsewhere. My parents have been going to them and I specifically got my car towed there because my parents recommended it to me, but NEVER again. My parents lost all trust in them as well and won t be going back either.

Took it there for an inspection again last time across tus $700 .this time we re up to $1500 almost this guy is a rip off !!!Do Not use him. I am calling the Better Business Bureau, My husband s almost got killed in his truck today ,he just got it back yesterday from them , They never fix the steering now they be N want more money and they tell himTell him it s the tires. And he just bought the tires they don t know what they re talking about do not use the empty your pockets Service: Steering & suspension repair

I highly recommend these guys. Very honest, excellent service. My F-150 is 10 yrs old, the engine repairs they completed made my truck feel and drive like the day I drove it off the dealership lot.

My fianc� took his car here about a week and a half ago to get his brake pads and rotors changed. A few days later, the car starts making a strange noise it s never made before. So we took it back to the shop, they can t find anything wrong. We leave, shop closes, car is still making the noise. Fast-forward, we ve been there 3 times and they ve fixed it each time and each time when we leave, we get a few miles down the road and the problem starts up again. So not only are they unable to properly diagnose the problem, but I m pretty sure they actually caused the problem in the first place.

Lady at the register is as dumb as a box of rocks. No help what so ever. Poor quality work. Poor customer service. And very insulting. Never recommend this place to anyone. Most horrible experience I've dealt with. They deserve to be closed down

If you want to bring your vehicle there once a week then go to him. Never fixed the problem and couldn't even admit he didn't know what it was. On top of that, the most disrespectful human being out there.MAJOR ego problem, and SO rude. The tone in which he speaks to people is unbelievable.Do yourself a favor and run from this place!

Came in for some services. Also asked them to check the car to make sure everything was okay and to fill up fluids.Turns out they didn't catch any of the problems and none of my fluids were topped. Questioning if they performed services as well.

I had to bring 2 vehicles there. I was in a pinch and they helped me out considerably. This is a great shop with affordable pricing. I will never bring my vehicles anywhere else. Awesome job guys.

10 out of 10!!!!! Great place!!!!!!! Friendly honest and fair all you could hope for in an auto mechanic. Wouldn't take any of my cars any place else. My entire family goes to Gabe's.
