I had a great experience, my transmission went on my 2016 tahoe back in November. I called multiple places and even the dealer , the prices were extremely high. I called here and spoke with Dennis , he gave me a quote of what it would cost, and offered to pick up my car. I received my car back in the time it was promised. There was no additional cost, they offer a warranty on the transmission, and now 5 months later the car is still driving great with no problems. I highly recommend this place for transmission work.

Transmission Technicians exceeded all my expectations! After my transmission died & while im stuck on the road, I was bombarded with advice to "go to my mechanic." However, I knew better than to entrust my transmission problems to an *auto mechanic. It's like having a broken ankle and going to see an ear doctor!Thankfully, a friend not only recommended Transmission Technicians but ensured my flatbed provider took me only there, and I couldn't be happier with their service. From the moment I walked into their shop and saw their impressive track record "best of the boro" for ten years sstraight, I knew I was in good hands.Their shop was immaculate, their approach was straightforward, and their professionalism was unmatched. They rebuilt my transmission, and now my car drives like it's brand new again.I can't stress enough how satisfied I am with the service provided by Transmission Technicians. If I could give them a 10-star review, I would. If you're facing transmission issues, don't waste your time with anyone else head straight to Transmission Technicians for top-notch service and expertise.

The staff was very friendly. I got a good and fear price to replace my transmission. It working good. I am happy with it. I would recommend any one to this transmission shop for work on there vehicle.

Called and spoke to Dennis for an estimate for rebuilding my 1995 Corvette's auto trans and torque converter (4L60E) which was the actual price charged when I picked up it up. Was told it would be several days to complete the work (including new drive shaft U joints and real main seal which I requested to be done), but Dennis called me the next day and said it I could pick it up the next day. Although it's not a "show car" I get lots of compliments about its condition so I was glad to see it was clean as when I dropped it off and kept indoors overnight. I've driven it over 250 miles since the repair and it shifts like new.So far, so good. I have no problems recommending Transmission Technicians.

First I should say, my transmission job isn't completed. However, I met the front desk, the technicians, the owner, and previous original owner while I was there. I wouldn't bring any car anywhere else in the country, based just on that. (I'm an experienced "car guy") Super friendly, knowledgeable, clean shop and ducks in a row. I'll re-review/update when the job is completed, but I highly doubt I will be anything other than super satisfied. My vehicle, 1996 Chevy suburban k1500.

I didnt end up needing any transmission work, but (I believe Dennis was his name) stepped right out and did a quick test drive figuring out that all I needed was to replace my hub bearings. Honest man and saved me thousands! He did a test drive free of charge too! Thanks again and from what I know, they do wonderful transmission work. Check them out! I owe you guys coffee or something haha.

Words can explain Transmission Technicians. Professional, Timely, great work, they have restored my faith in auto mechanics. Dennis and crew are top notch. If you don't bring your vehicle there.........your setting yourself up for failure... Merry Christmas

I contacted Dennis at Transmission technicians because I was having problems with my transmission not shifting. Dennis was fully aware of what the problem was and stated I needed to have the transmission rebuilt. He gave me a price over the phone I dropped the vehicle off the next day and he had it ready by the end of the week. All the work was completed on time and I m totally satisfied. Dennis was a gentleman

STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!!I took the day off from work and made arrangements to have my car delivered to this shop only to pick it up a few days later with the same issue. I had a simple repair that needed to be carried out instead i get an estimate of a complete rebuild job at a price of $4,500!! I guess this is how it goes when you are dealing with " the best in L I " . I own 5 vehicles and will NEVER consider this shop should i need to deal with a transmission issue. GO AT YOUR OWN RISK......

I have a 12 year old, all wheel drive SUV with 125K miles and the transmission went. Dealer wanted $7K to fix it. The car isn't worth much more than that. My mechanic suggested Transmission Technicians, but I was leery. Honest businesses can be hard to find in this industry. Dennis was my point of contact and took care of everything, from towing my vehicle on a flatbed from the dealer to his shop, to updating me as we went along. All of our contact was over the phone. Didn't meet him face to face until I picked up the vehicle, and didn't have to leave a deposit or credit card number. The price was exactly what we agreed upon from the very beginning, they got the work done a couple of days sooner than expected, and they provided a 2 year warranty in writing. FANTASTIC SERVICE! Damaged my torque converter after doing a drain&fill on my 2013 X3msport. They took the car right in and had it back to me ahead of schedule. Everyone goes above and beyond for customer satisfaction! So far rebuild has been performing as expected, no slips, shudders, or noises besides a small grounding issue. 10/10 would recommend!

My experience was terrific as it always has been in the past. I had my transmission rebuilt over a year ago and i haven't had any issues with it it's been excellent. Just recently though I did have a slight leak from the seal the yoke needed to be changed it wasn't initially changed and I was informed that it may have to be in the future. Even though I do have a warranty Dennis went above and beyond and I wasn't charged for the repair which also included a couple of other things. This shop really stands by their work and their warranty I would highly recommend it to anyone who's looking to have any repairs or rebuilt done! 12/14/2022 I just want to give a well-deserved update about Transmission Technicians. My transmission was rebuilt in June of 2020 and it's going strong ! I've had no issues whatsoever ! It carries my loads and it gets the job done. I knew when I first went to transmission technicians this was the place I wanted to do my rebuild. Good vibes ! I depend on my truck and I certainly couldn't buy a new one or even a used one ; way too expensive and impossible for me. It was a solid investment having my transmission rebuilt by transmission technicians. Their mechanics do excellent work as demonstrated in my truck's performance over 2 years later. Dennis is a wonderful person and very accommodating with any questions and they stand by their work and warranty. This is the shop you need to consider going to if you need any transmission work. Yes it is costly having a transmission rebuilt but when done with honest people, experienced technicians and a 2-year warranty to stand behind their work you made a solid investment !

Brought in my 2015 Ford Edge which had only 20k miles on it but had transmission issues. They diagnosed it fast and repaired it in 10 days, I was going to go price shopping but they were reasonable and highly recommended by many people that I spoke to. Afterwords I had minor issue the check engine light came on and it turns out one of the vacuum hoses was not completely on near the air filter and they corrected that immediately and the car has been perfect ever since. A friend of mine who had brought 2 different cars to Transmission Technicians previously recommended them to me and i was not disappointed. This business was recommended to me, and I an so grateful to have found TT.My car died on the 135 and I reached out to TT. They were able to tow me to the shop and work on my car. They were generous enough to drop me off at the rent a car dealer as well. They kept me abreast as the repair progressed and always maintained professionalism. I needed a new clutch and the price was reasonable when the job was complete. I would highly recommend them and use them again if needed.Service: Transmission repair

Dennis and his staff over at transmission technicians are hands down the number 1 experts for all your transmission needs. Not only were they able to quickly diagnose my cars problem, but fixed it right away and I was back on the road in no time. Their knowledge and professionalism is unmatched. Highly recommend them for any of your transmission needs. The service and communication are top notch.
