Fantastic Experience! Was recommended to this Macco specifically. Took in my 2003 Toyota for a new paint job. What a great job. They did a fantastic paint job, put on my brand new headlights I had ordered. And re-did my original rims. It looks like a show room car. I couldn't be any happier. I had my 1986 Mustang SVO painted by Joe and his crew this past July. I just wanted to share how happy I am with the quality work they did. They really went out of their way and took the time to do this car right and the end result really shows.I have never dealt with a more honest and attentive guy than Joe. This car has been my baby for over 31 years and to me this was a big deal to have it painted. I bought her in 1992 and sadly being a NY car she suffered the consequences (rust and rot) and 10 months ago I had to make the decision to let her go or go all in and bring her back to her former glory... The car was in very rough shape and my wife was very instrumental with the decision to keep it. We agreed the car was worth it to save for our children to enjoy one day in the future. When the project got to the paint work I needed a professional to take care of it. Maaco in Massapequa did not disappoint.I think Joe had the car for the better part of a month and that just goes to show you that they dont rush the job. Joe was nice enough to send me pics as the work progressed and also allowed me to come see her as the job when I wanted to. Joe is always very quick to answer any questions or concerns and NEVER gives the runaround. Any email I sent was answered within an hour or less.My satisfaction was their only concern. This was a very big job and they made sure I was happy with the end result. I highly recommend them to anyone that might be looking to paint a classic car or any car for that matter.

Thank you for painting my car with the special paint scheme request and working above and beyond to revive the 38 yrs old 1980s gem.The owner Joe is very detail oriented, honest, knowledgeable, and always listens to your opinions and comes up with a plan to meet and exceed your expectation. The progress is smooth with pictures sent to me every a few days. The schedule is well maintained and the pick up date is very close to the agreed deadline even with unexpected issues like paints order delayed by vendor. And the price is fair and reasonable.It's really hard nowadays to find a shop with nice and honest owner and technicians with great workmanship.Definitely and highly recommend!

I couldn't be more pleased with the job they did on my son's car! I had body work done someplace else first, but they didn't do such a great job. The guys at MAACO fixed everything the first guy didn't fix properly and painted it beautifully! I highly recommend them!

Maaco did such a fantastic job of restoring my 1991 Honda Civic Hatchback! The car looks brand new again! I wanted to bring it back to my favorite Honda stock color and they did an amazing job at getting the color just right! Right out of the place it was turning many heads on the road with a lot of thumbs ups from other Honda enthusiasts! It's such a fun car and Maaco made me love my little Civic even more! The guys there did a fantastic job and Joe was such a great guy guy to help me out! I would really recommend this Maaco to other people out there looking to restore their favorite cars at a fair price!

Loved it The paint job came out great the service is Awesome e Joe is a man of his word and the shop does excellent work So happy with the outcome and I'm going to let the pictures talk for themselves its a 98 crv and the whole car was chipping and faded and the quarter panels were rusted out If your going to take your car anywhere get it done here at Massapequa Macco TAKE IT HERE YOU WILL LOVE THE OUTCOME.

Joe is a professional. He stands by his word, which is not something that occurs often nowadays. We gave him a tight time-frame and he delivered. Upon hearing his initial promises, I have to say I was skeptical as one can be expected. Nevertheless, he lived up to his word and delivered as promised, ON TIME.Granted I have not had much experience dealing with repairs (thank God); I can say that of my experiences, this is hands down the best.I certainly do recommend him and his team at Maaco.

Amazing paint job, amazing service. I was leaving on military service and they expedited my Jeep. It was a lot of work to. They did the entire car including the rust treatment for the undercarriage of the vehicle. The jeep before the job was in bad shape and lots of rust everywhere from many years of off-roading all over the world.

Excellent experience. Best price and shortest time vs others I compared. Dropped off Mon morning, ready for p/u Tues evening. Superior customer service by Eddie. He even did part of the bumper he noticed that was not included in the estimate. Best part was the convenience if you work in the City shop is walking distance to the LIRR.

Gave two stars for the time (1 week) from drop off to pick up. Make sure you go over you car when picked up. I was so happy it looked so good after I saw it that I did not go over it. For the record- paint looks great. Nice and clean and smooth. Price was good at $4,000It s been two weeks since picking up my car, but I had to store it while my house was being worked on so I m just now noticing these issues. FYI - it was stored, covered, in my daughters fenced driveway.Metallic blue 2004 mustang convertible. The clear coat was in real need of a facelift so I decided why not a paint job and clear coat. No dents or rust.A few minor things I could live with: blue overspray on black molding and clear coat overspray on windows, tape still on some parts, and GT emblem was in the trunk when I was told they ll double tape it back on.Few things I m really PO d about: First, from a few places that were not totally covered it does not look like a few coats were applied. If they were, the light spray areas would have been covered completely. That is just a logical guess, not a sure thing. Two small bubbles on the nose of hood. Missed a spot on corner of the hood scoop or it s looks like it was dropped and never checked, but still not blue (it s gray). One of the side scoops was not on properly. Turns out they did not put it on right. The catch was broke from what I think was from prying it off because there are signs of prying. My after market backup camera does not work, which makes my radio not work and they put it back on the car the wrong way and stripped one of the screws. Even after finding and repairing the wires they broke from snapping the door trim back in place, the camera (and radio) still doesn t work right. Lastly, there was a box of plugs and screws in my trunk that I have no idea where they go.Again, the paint job looks great with exception of the bubbles and missed spot. The man I spoke with was nice and professional. The guys actually doing the work need a course in how to handle someone s prize possession. I would not recommend this place.Service: Painting

I got my car back from Joe this past weekend.Count me as not merely a satisfied customer. I'm a delighted customer. Deeeee-lighted!!!!Joe took my car with badly faded clear coat and made it look like a new car. Even did body work on the hood and polished the headlights also!He delivered on exactly what I was looking for, rather than giving me a "sell job" like three other body shops did.I give Joe and his team at Maaco my highest recommendation!Thanks Joe!.Service: Painting

5 stars to Joe at MacaoMy husband has an older car and the paint was peeling off. We took it to Macao on Hicksville Road. Joe painted it and cleaned the head lights. It came out beautiful. Looks like a brand new car. He went above and beyond at a reasonable price. He paid attention to detail. Can t say enough good things about him. If you need painting I would highly recommend them. My 2001 PT Cruiser, named Rupeetwo, was in desperate need of a make-over. His clear coat was faded in blotchy patches all over the hood and roof. The back rear fender damaged by a self inflicted run in with a gas station horse-shoe stanchion that I never repaired. The estimate I got for body work and a full paint job, from a known auto body shop was beyond the pale.I've seen the ads for years..."Better get Maaco". I decided to give them a try and I am so very glad I did! Ed, the owner of Maaco of Massapequa, provided me and Rupeetwo with exceptional customer service, extremely fair pricing, professional expertise and a refreshing sense of humor, which I appreciated.Due to the work to be done, I did have to relinquish the car for 5 days. A bit inconvenient but totally worth it. Perfection takes time. I wish I had a video of my reaction seeing Rupeetwo after his make over at Maaco. I swear he looks better than the day he was born in 2001. I only have one complaint. The car is so shiny I can't get a good "after" picture. Everything reflects off the surface. The sky, the trees and my smiling face.Thank you Ed Evangelista and your crew at Maaco of Massapequa. You all did yourselves proud! Rupee says Hi!

I am SO glad I took my 2007 Tahoe here for a paint job. Joe was a pleasure to work with. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to explain the process in detail and even walked me around the shop so I could see other jobs they had in the works (which is waaay more than I can say about the other Maaco I received an estimate from). In addition to the paint job I was also able to get my rims powder-coated and they came out amazing ! My truck looks better than new and I couldnt be happier. There are lots of Maaco locations to choose from but if you are even considering having any work done go see Joe in Massapequa, you will not be disappointed !Service: Painting

Went to Joe at Maaco because my parking garage had a leak that rusted the paint on the roof. Joe took one look and started buffing it right out.... he did the whole roof for free, without making me wait around, which was beyond generous. He then gave me an estimate for my whole car to give to my management company. We decided to go ahead and detail the whole car as there was still some more rust on other spots. When I went back to pick up my car after, it was shining like the top of the Chrysler building. It s an older car... a 2005... and he truly gave her a facial because she looked brand new!!! He even followed up with my management company for payment. Joe is kind, honest, and does fantastic work. He turned what should have been a stressful experience into a piece of cake. Two enthusiastic thumbs up from me.

I went in and met with Joe to get a price on repainting my motercycle. The price was the best around and I was very happy. I brought in all the parts that needed to be painted and picked out my color. They said it would take a week and they were dead on. I choose a completely different color and it came out amazing. I can not wait to put the bike together. These guys did a great job and they are fantastic with customers. I felt very comfortable as soon as i met them, and would recommend them to everyone that needs their services. Thanks guys

Recently had a 2002 Honda Accord painted by MAACO in Massapequa due to failing clear coat, typical of that year. Joe was so nice and helpful and did exactly what he said he would for the estimated price. He even finished ahead of schedule and the car looks like it just came out of the showroom! I wasn't sure about doing the paint job at first, but am now so glad I did. I highly recommend visiting Joe if you are considering having your car painted!Service: Painting

Great work at affordable price!! I recently brought my 08 charger there just to get a quote. They were priced better than local body shops and the work came out great. Joe told me exactly how long it would take and i was able to pick my car up in just 2.5 days!! Very helpful and professional. Would recommend to friends and family and would use again myself!

Maaco did an excellent job painting a ground effects kit for my car. The color match was perfect and the price was very fair. Surprisingly, they finished the job ahead of schedule. The shop is very clean and the service was impeccable. I would highly recommend them.

I had my car painted there in the beginning of the year and they did a fantastic job. The turnaround time was excellent t as well. Recently had a fender bender and the price to fix was reasonable and again they did a great job. Ed Evangelista is very personable and professional. I highly recommend using his services.

Very satisfied and would highly recommend! I was initially hesitant due to some poor Maaco reviews but my local Maaco (Massapequa) had very good reviews. I spoke to Joe who asked me what I was looking for and what budget I had in mind. My car had 110,000 miles and just needed a good paint 'refresh' around the sides to remove some significant scratches and dings. I was satisfied with the price quoted.I dropped the car on a saturday and had the car back on Wednesday. While the car was a little dirty/dusty (I assume from the grinding and finishing), the quality of work was outstanding! There was even a small fold in the metal near the bottom of the door that looks to have been bonded before painting. They went above and beyond!Call Joe and talk to him. He is very honest and his paint mechanic is excellent!
