Shoutout to Kenny and Josh at D&D Auto Clinic on Central Ave. Not only were they reasonable and honest, but they do quick efficient work. In the time I was there, I also saw them go above and beyond for 2 other clients that came in. I highly recommend them and will take both cars there moving fwd.

Has anyone else left here recently with a jacked up labor rate of $175/hr from his usual $149/hr with no mention of the increase? When I contacted the owner to ask about the rate hike he said he would contact me the next day to discuss, that was a month ago now ..

Came here to get a new set of aftermarket wheels installed. Extremely fair pricing and they took the extra mile in assuring the rim would not get scratched during the mounting process. Great people overall. Highly recommend for all your tire and wheel needs!Service: TiresService: Tires

EDIT/UPDATE - 2023: Since my 2014 review, I've had subsequent service at D&D and both times the tire installation was 1 star - at best.First - Tech damaged the tire pressure sensor and then tried to repair it with tape and glue. Needless to say, it failed resulting in having to bring the car back for a new sensor (which was not OEM and didn't last). Tech should have owned up to his mistake and installed a new one.Second - different car, same tech. After putting new tires on rims, he WAAAAY overtightened the lug nuts. It took two guys to loosen the lug nuts and stretched the lug bolts! Not safe condition to drive and if hitting a pothole could cause wheel to fall off. Seems like the staff that worked there previously are gone. Too bad.....----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Previous review 2014Great service! Ken and the techs there are top notch. Curtious, positive atmosphere - no talking down to the customers. Brought my new 2014 Corvette there in March 2014 to have wheels and tires swapped/installed. Would not let anyone else except D & D touch my new "baby". I was a first time customer who will be going back. I highly recommend them....2015 Its been a year since I first used them and I've brought my other cars (Camaro, other Vette's, Camry) and every service has been exceptional!Keep up the good work Ken and crew!2016 Well it's been another year and other work done to my "babies" and the same GREAT service.Bringing my son's Corvette for some work - and of course there's only one place to go!!!! I love love love love this place! High quality, fast, right by a diner, the library and they text when your car is ready - I've never felt over charged or like a "woman" for lack of a better phrase - they are always busy but ALWAYS have time for everyone. So polite and wonderful don't second guess it just go!

Bill, Ken, and his team are the best. My wife and I have been customers of D&D since we moved to Massapequa 26 years ago. They have taken care of all of our cars and have been nothing but professional and personal. They have always taken exceptional care of us. They provide the community excellent car care with fair and honest pricing. Most recently my wife's car battery died unexpectedly. After having it jump started we brought it right down to see Ken. We didn't have an appointment and usually schedule one in advance but he took us with no problem (as he has done on a few other occasions when we had some impromptu issues). He had our car back to us the same day just a few hours later. I highly recommend them to all my friends and family.

Kenny at D&D does a great job. He is friendly and fair with his prices and dependable. I have used them on all my cars that are out of warranty. One thing that people would appreciate is Saturday service hours, otherwise they are the best in Massapequa.

What a pleasure! D&D is extremely professional, detail oriented, knowledgeable and fair with pricing. I brought in my 77 Corvette with several gremlins and everything was repaired, and then some, in a timely manner without breaking the bank. Ken and the men at D&D are always polite, courteous, and professional. It is an absolute pleasure to deal with Ken, and all of the employees. They are always fair, and there work is always excellent. I have been bring my cars to D&D for many years, and i have truly never been disappointed or let down once. Highly recommended.

My dad started going here years and years ago, then I got on board. We now have my whole family going here when they need work. Ken is always fair and reliable, and his workers are very friendly. He also has a great memory and remembers you and your car. I dropped my truck off the other day, he didn't ask my name or phone number, and 3 hours later I get a text that my car is ready. I also had a minor follow up issue after work was done recently, we brought car back in and he made an adjustment to correct for no charge at all. What more can you ask for?

Took my 2015 Challenger R/T in for some brand new tires. I found this shop after a brief search on Google. There was a small hiccup with the warehouse, but Ken was able to sort it out in time and his communication was excellent.On the day of the install, he took my car in early and was more than happy to answer any questions I had about the product and process. The shop was very clean, and the work done was excellent too. Would happily go here again for more tire work!Service: Tires

As usual, treated with the utmost courtesy. Kenny and his staff are extremely helpful. Just had an issue with my son's transmission. Kenny took a look and knew it had to go to a transmission shop. The shop informed us that the issue should be covered under warranty through the automaker. It was covered under warranty. Neither Kenny nor his referral charged my son. Big thumbs up!

I am surprised by any negative reviews. I used to live close by the shop and always went to them after another shop tried to have me spend hundreds on repairs I didn't need. D&D has always been honest and quick with their work. After I moved I still choose to bring my car there even though I have to travel because I know I can trust them and the work they do.

The whole crew is very caring and friendly. Ken has never turned me down when I asked for any service for my car or my wife's car. kenny is a great help and a pleasure to have as a mechanic. I've been to several places in town over the years and D&D's service is hands down the BEST!!I would recommend them to anyone!!Always honest and helpful!!No place better. Kenny is very professional and will always treat you right.

My dad first found D&D and was so happy with them we decided to check them out. That was over 10 years ago. Honest, and fast. We bring our cars, in-laws and our children's cars here and only here. Thanks Kenny and the crew.

Ken didn t need to but he did took the time- explained I was traveling back to Pittsburgh- he checked my front end (making noises) and gave me his opinion. Clearly a solid/quality individual! I met him for 2 minutes and felt as if I could trust him THANKS!

Once again, the D&D team continue to provide the best customer service. As a longstanding/satisfied customer, my wife recently had a nail in the tire of our primary car and went to D&D to see if could be repaired. In a flash, they took the car into the repair shop and in no-time, the repair was made -- no drama and took-care-of-business. Quality work and consistent customer service is what D&D is all about and I would highly recommend them to anyone that is seeking an auto repair service for all their car needs.Rich Wolf

IMPRESSED! This was my first visit to D&D Auto Clinic and my experience and review echo what others have said. Ken patiently listened to me describe the symptoms my BMW displayed and made me feel confident it could be repaired. Professional, skilled, great customer service, they know their business. Very nice people. Went for an insurance photo inspection. I saw they were very busy and asked if I should come another time. Was told no problem and they got to me in ten mins.

My entire family of 5 cars have been going to Ken for over a year now. Fast work and very knowledgeable and HONEST. EXC customer service. I love the text messages when the car is ready, very convenient. I never have to call to ask when the car is done! Highly recommended.

I have been a D&D customer for 20 plus years and have always found the work at this shop to be excellent and the service friendly and professional. I also like that the shop is convenient to Krish's luncheonette and right across the street from the Massapequa public library in case I am having service on one of my vehicles while I wait. Thanks Ken and Bill - you and your technicians do great work at a fair and reasonable price.
