I drove from Ottawa to Central Pennsylvania, and my check engine light turned on when I was on I-81. I used my GPS to search for a car repair and found Cronk's. He checked the code and estimated where the problem is. And he was very kind to tell me that I could drive back home with the light on without problem, and I could get it fixed in my town. He did not charge me anything. I really appreciate his honesty and kindness.

His posted rate says $65 but when I subtracted what the parts cost his hourly rate is much higher more than double at least $130. Even a dealer would beat his prices if you can believe that. At least they are only $75 & not $130+. While at the dealer recently they even asked my permission even before changing a brake light bulb. That is how honest mechanics operate. If you go in to Cronks even if only for an oil change he will take apart your car and charge you hours and hours of labor to diagnose every little thing that is not perfect with it. If you don't mind a mechanic that charges you for work on your car that you never authorized & you have lots of money to burn he is definately your man!
