Took my car in and they diagnosed the problem. They gave me a quote and fixed it. They were reasonable and helpful. Very happy with workers and office staff!

Never willing to help, always too busy to help local customers whose locality they operate in. I haven t actually ever used them for the 2 times I have called them for help in the last few years, they are always reluctant and evasive to take small jobs.Not a review about their work but more about the willingness to take on work. Maybe business is that good to allow them to turn customers away.

It is so important to have a trustworthy mechanic! The owners and mechanics at this garage are honest and trustworthy. Sarah, at the front desk, is awesome to work with! She is very responsive and called with an update, and when the vehicle was finished. Their prices are fair, their work is high quality, and they take great care of our vehicles. Everyone I spoke to here was incredibly kind and professional. They were very accommodating, worked quickly and thoroughly, and took the time to talk through everything with me. I am very appreciative of them and their work and will absolutely be coming back if I run into anymore issues! Great business run by honest people -- very highly recommend.Service: Transmission

I'll start my review by saying that I am very Particular about who touches my vehicles. I've dealt with numerous shops that have done far from decent work and overcharged for said work or stolen things from inside the vehicle. This wasn't the case with these guys, I needed a serious repair done in a very short amount of time which seemed impossible after calling around but they got me right in almost immediately and it wasn't because they had an open schedule that's for sure! The place I ordered the replacement part from had sent them the wrong part and Sarah had taken over in working with the part supplier as well as people from GM directly in order to find a solution, she knew I was caught up in my own company that I didn't have the time to mess around with things. The Team here finished the job in impeccable time and the work was clean and detailed! I think its safe to say I've found my new go to repair shop for all of my vehicles!! Thank you to everyone at Manlius Motor Works for Doing such great work and exceeding my expectations!Services: Transmission, Tires, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment

Service was great. I dropped my car off in the evening. The next day I received a call with a status report. The work was thorough and they did not try to up-sale me. They gave me honest feedback with a great price. My wife and I take multiple vehicles to MMW and will continue.

As always the team at Manlius Motor works did a super job. Sarah is such the perfect person for her job. The entire staff is excellent. I have confidence in bringing my car here. That's probably the best thing I can say. I know it's a great feeling. Thank you to Brian and the entire team.

My brakes failed and I nearly crashed my car. I needed it repaired very quickly so I could get to work tge next day and they stayed late replacing my rear drums and shoes. The price was exactly what I expected. Very courteous and quick staff. Highly recommended!

After over 25 years of bringing my car to these people and always referring friends and speaking highly of them, I am blown away at how they handled this. I needed to bring my vehicle back to them to repair damage that was caused by another repair I paid them for, and they take no responsibility at all. After hearing some scary stories about a similar situation that happened to a friend a little while back I didn t believe it, but sure enough. The friends I thought I had here, the trust I thought I d built with them over the past quarter century, all gone. If you re looking for an honest shop, this may not be the place.

Had my alternator go bad on me in my 2009 Audi and had my car towed to this place. Wanted me to pay $930 to get it replaced. Called Eurowerx in Camillus and they said the labor would cost $300. Bought an alternator online for $200 and made out with a deal almost half what this place was offering. Mechanic was not friendly either.

Made an appointment for an inspection and oil change. Super friendly staff checked me in and out super quick for both drop off and pick up. Had some suggestions for my car that wasn't needed at the moment and they were not pushy at all for it. Will definitely be back to see them for the recommendations next time! Thanks a bunch manlius motor works!!

I have used Manlius Motor Works for many different car needs. Sarah is the best to talk to, always so nice and helpful! They have always been very helpful, honest, and communicate what needs to be done. I have an older car that needed work to pass inspection. They went out of their way to fix it without costing me a fortune and was able to pass. I am definitely going back for all my future auto work needed, and will be telling all my friends and family about them. Well done!

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE ...If I could give no stars I would ... dropped my car off because it wasn t starting everything was new and it still had issues even after several alternators... got it towed to the facility to be told it just needed a battery ! Im not a mechanic but I know it needed more than a battery so I expressed this to Sarah where I was assuringly told it was just the battery... I was called back and told that was the only issue ... upon picking it up I sarcastically expressed that it wasn t just the battery ... the next morning my car loses all power and breaks down on the side of the road I call back and ask why upon leaving was I told that the only problems with my vehicle were an oil change and lights on the dash and now I m stranded on the side of the road Sarah I asked were any tests done other than battery tests she said no ... I asked after i expressed it was more than the battery was a diagnostic done she said no ... I asked could they have my car towed back to their shop at their expense to further diagnose the problem they said they don t do that ... Sarah then became rude and obnoxious I asked what she feels she should be done to fix the situation Sarah said that I can have my car towed at my expense and they can run a diagnostic... horrible service disregarded everything I mentioned horrible work and I m currently writing this from the side of the road stranded the day after I picked my car up from their shop!

Mike was very communicative throughout the entire repair process, they did exactly what they said they would and were right on with their estimate and final bill for the repairs. I went to Manlius Motor Works after a not so pleasant experience at another local shop. After this experience, MMW will get my families future business.

All very friendly, fair pricing. They will be honest with you about your car. If it doesn't need fixing he will tell you. Overnight drop off available.

I will never bring ANY car back to this shop.I took my 95 civic in here a couple years ago to have steering work done on it. Within a few thousand miles my front wheels were so badly worn I couldn't drive it anymore. Thankfully at that time I didn't need this car and put it in storage.I brought the car in again to this shop a couple months ago to fix this issue. They had my car for a week and a half; to finish the car they had to work until 8pm on the day AFTER I told them I absolutely needed it. Spent $1,500 on the work and 3,000 miles later I have the SAME exact problem I brought it in for.

Brought my car in for failed inspection, and Mike was a big help. He told me there was nothing really wrong with the car and he could have made something up and charged me, told me what to do, didn't charge me a penny even after I offered! This is now my place to go! Legitimate business!

I would not send anyone there. My son lost control of his car because of a serious defect in the steering and suspension 2600 miles after they said it was fixed. In my opinion, they slapped an inspection sticker on the car without inspecting it because it was late Friday and they had the car for days but never fixed what was primarily wrong. In my opinion, you should not take your car there if you value the safety of yourself or your family.
