I have used Monro for over 11 years at the Malone NY location and they have never let me down. They are fair and reasonable, and excel in customer service. The management has changed several times, but all have gone out of their way to fit me in when there was a need. At this time I am preparing to bring my Jeep in to have them replace the starter. They were my first phone call when the car wouldn't start and I know, in fact have been assured of a very short turnaround when I am able to bring it in. I spoke to Josh today and he gave me an estimate which he is keeping on file until the car arrives, with no pressure about when that might be. I appreciate that.

The mechanics at Monroe Muffler Brake & Service at store 144 are always on point. The managers and customer service is respectable and will go out of their to offer high quality service and advice. My wife and I have taken our vehicles there consistently for the past two years. My recent visit for an oil change resulted in having four turn signal lights changed on my car that was not previously scheduled or requested by me. The local auto parts store had sold me the wrong bulbs. Instead of replacing the old bulbs with the improper bulbs, the technician replaced the bulbs with the proper ones and didn t charge me the fee. I recommend this company and strictly this location to anyone who needs some work done on their vehicles.

I've gone to the Malone store for over 6 years. They have always been very accommodating with their scheduling and I've never had any issues with their service. I don't like to take my car anywhere else as I feel like this Monro takes very good care of my car.

I had paid for repairs on my Edge. I had gave the manager 30.00 too much. I called back with in 15 minutes and he was already gone for the day . The assistant manager mike said he would call me if they were over. 2 days go by and no call. I called again and the assistant answered. He told me they were over and the money was set aside for me in an envelope. I go in the following day to pick it up and the manager Greg said they were not over any money but he would give me 30.00 for customer satisfaction. It's not up to the company to pay back the.money. I was lied to by someone, why would one say yes and then someone else say no.I have been going there for years and didnt complainWith grease or oil on my interior carpet. It has now gotten out of control with how they are. I really think they need a complete full staff and start fresh.The dishonesty is shameful to the company along with disrespectful to a paying customer. I will no longer go there and will find another company that is honest to their customers. If I could rate zero stars I would.

As a Saranac Lake resident I would yearly visit our Monroe Muffler in Saranac Lake when they would obtain new staff and or new Management thinking or assuming it would be a better experience. Every single experience I've had there has been a nightmare! Actually they just got new management a month ago 2 months ago and I called up to get a price on a synthetic oil change and I was told it was $89 .99 in every other Monroe in New York charges $49.99?? So going to the Malone New York Monro Muffler today for the first time I went in as a skeptic the service manager was more than accommodating friendly and speedy. It was nice to have a service visit got what I needed done and not get railroaded with a bunch of items and insane rates on material I don't even need. So to Malone Monroe Muffler Gregory i believe his name was? Kudos! Your candor professionalism and attitude we're amazing, We will be back .

I have been going to Monro in Malone for years. Don has always been very professional and helpful. We have multiple cars and I also have a fleet vehicle through my company. I recently learned that Don is being moved to Saranac Lake. If this is so, I will look elsewhere to have my work done. I spoke with the new manager and he was not nearly as friendly or willing to discuss my vehicle needs.

very simple to the point. The old mgr Don was honest/fair/ gave price quote and that's what you paid. New mgr quoted me a price of $60 and tried charging me $110. Went in for oil change on day he wasn't in $14.99. 2 day's later I came back with another vehicle he was in and tried charging me $21.99 when it clearly states $14.99. Monty Hall is appearing at Malone monro. It's Let's Make A Deal time. Do yourself a favor like many other long time customers are doing and drive the extra miles to Monro in Saranac Lake and deal with Don. At least there your dealing with Bob Barker. The Price Is Right

Can you give a zero star review honestly never had a worse expirence in my life. Oh and dont buy into all of the five star reviews the have a sign inside offering $5 off your next service for a 5 star review and $10 off if you get a friend to do it. For one a few months back the charged me $186 to bleed the brakes on my vehicle...overpriced I think so! Than this week I made an appointment when I dropped my truck of the guy waiting on me couldnt give me the time of day as I was going to ask them to do a few other things while it was there however never got the chance then today he calls me with an outrageous quote well over $500 claiming parts alone were almost $200 I called the place where they get the parts and shocker the parts were only $50 tried charging me $5 per foot of brake line when I can buy it at the same place for $1 per foot I mentioned this to him and he told me to do it mysef I then called monro in saranac and the employee up there flat out told me that malone was trying to rip me off and the quote was way too high I'll never go back there and would suggest no one else does either

Monro at Malone is amazing. I am a frequent customer. As a Canadian, I would be charged over $72.32 CND for the same oil change with air filter at Pennzoil on St. John's Blvd in Montreal. Only an oil change at Pennzoil is $50.53 CND. For an oil change, air filter, lube, free battery check, and inspection the total service cost at Monro in Malone, NY was $37.79 ($49.79 CND). Service is extremely friendly and accommodating as my wife had to cancel an appointment and return at short notice later in the day (July 13, 2018).

My family has been going to Monro in MALONE NY for over 10yrs! We have always gotten exceptional service but lately Don was sent to another location and unless Mike is there the shop runs horribly!!! We will continue our patronage of this shop as soon as Don returns or it is guaranteed that Mike will be there! Don is the largest, if not only reason we remain customers at this location because he is who we trust at this revolving door location.

I live out of the area, but have twice been going near Malone for work and had some minor van issue. Both times it was a Sunday and I love that Monro is a chain ALWAYS open Sundays. Both times they fixed me up no charge. I have meant to 5 review them, finally am! Thanks.

The new Manager at the Malone location, Greg, is rude and abrupt with customers and will not lift a finger to help out anyone on his staff or even check an engine light. I took my business elsewhere after my last visit. There is no excuse for rude customer service.

I am very disappointed in the honesty and integrity of the employees. Have spent thousands a year for over 10 years.my vehicle was damaged by a car lift .they deny any damages .very disappointed in honesty and integrity. Looks like I am looking for a new mechanic.

Rude..walk in with 5 tires to have them mount and balance my rear tires and spare..doesn't confer with me about which tires are going where and puts my truck on the lift with the tires still in the bed and walks away.meanwhile I sit here and watch another worker playing on his phone while my truck just sits there no-one working on it...simple must need a degree to accomplish this
