Brought my bike in after being referred to by friends, Scotty went over it like it was his own bike told me what needed to be done and did it within a few days. The bike is running good and looks good he even cleaned it top to bottom for me. Service and prices were excellent! I'll be referring all my friends to him.

I moved from Florida to Mahopac and needed somebody to service my 2002 Harley Davidson Sportster 883. I had what I thought was a good technician in Florida until I went to Scotty's. Scotty breathed new life into my Sporty. He said what he'd do and did what he said he would for a price which was more than reasonable.I'm so happy with the service Scotty provided that I am going back with my 2009 Ducati Monster 1100 so Scotty can tune her up and get me back in the fast lane.Don't hesitate to give Scotty your business.Services: Carburetor cleaning, Tires, Brake service & repair, Oil change

If there was an option for 0 stars I would choose that. I just bought my first ATV and simply wanted to do some maintenance. Called him and he was so rude, always cutting me off as I was trying to explain to him that I was new to this and that I needed assistance. So rude, rude, rude!

First time customer, Scotty was fantastic. I called ahead and told him about the issue I was having w/ my bike. He got me in the next morning and fixed the issue in 30 min.Everyone else in the area said they would have to order parts. Scotty took a quick look and fixed it. Tuned up the clutch, takes off perfect. Would recommend

I brought my first build to scotty for fine tuning and was blown away by his attention to detail. He noticed things that I wouldn't have thought of and he walked me through everything instead of just throwing a bill at me. Scotty truly cares about doing it right and making sure there is good communication. He has more experience than you so don't come in with an ego or you'll be put in your place. At the end of the day Scotty is miles more professional than any dealership you will go to. And his pricing is beyond fair.Services: Carburetor cleaning, Electrical repair, Engine repair, Brake service & repair

I just bought my first bike: 2001 Kawasaki Ninja 500. Because the bike is 20 years old with 8,800 mile and not knowing when it was serviced, I inquired where to have it serviced. Several of my co-workers highly recommended Scotty. When I first met him, he was extremely professional and saw that his 40+ years of experience showed by his level of knowledge. After looking at the bike, he told me the most important thing was to make sure the bike was safe to ride. Being a retired commercial pilot, that is what I wanted to hear. Safety. He contacted me the next day with the items that needed immediate attention and the ones that could wait. His estimate was very reasonable. When the work was completed, I could not recognize my bike. Besides performing all the necessary work, he cleaned and detailed the bike at no extra charge. I was aware the bike needed a full service and was expecting to spend a lot of money. But Scotty went over the worksheet in detail over the parts and labor he performed. The total amount billed was a lot lower than I expected. My co-workers were so shocked he charge so little for the amount of work performed. Scotty even ask me to drop by the garage if I have any questions or concerns about the bike's operation.Being a new rider, I can see why all my co-workers have been using Scotty for many years for service.Without a doubt, I highly recommend him to anyone seeking an experienced and honest motorcycle mechanic.Services: Carburetor cleaning, Brake service & repair, Oil change

Scotty is a great mechanic. He gave my 2002 Kawasaki KLR 650 a very thorough tune-up, and then helped me out when I had a crash. I trust his work and his prices are good. I'll definitely bring my bikes back to him in the future.

I brought a 20 year old Yamaha Vmax that needed alot of immediate attention to Scotty. This guy is an old school mechanic who really knows his stuff. He accurately diagnosed the myriad of problems I was aware of and quite a few more that I missed. If you want your bike fixed right, the first time, go see Scotty.

After reading many reviews I had to see for myself and I gotta tell ya, the positive reviews are spot on. Scotty goes above and beyond even taking care of things you wouldn t really think of to have a safer and more comfortable ride. Not to mention his prices are very reasonable. I want to thank Scotty for what he did for my bike and for the advice he gave me on how to keep it running in great shape when I picked it up. I highly recommend Scotty s to anyone!

I needed new Pilot Powers for my Honda 919. I stopped at Scotty's, he had them in stock. He mounted and balanced them while I waited, only took about 30 minutes. He also checked out my bike and told me how much life i had on my brake pads (without trying to sell me brake pads) and also made recommendations for other maintenance in the future.Owner is very friendly and cut me a really nice deal on the labor cost.Totally different experience than going to a dealership where you have to drop your bike off for days and they never remember who you are when you call and try to sell you everything you don't need at a rediculous price. Will definitely go to Scotty's again.

While Scotty may come across a little rough around the edges he is a very stand up guy. I brought my 2007 FZ6 to him after I bought it(should have had him look it over before) and he gave it a full tune up. Not only does the bike run MUCH better now, he also cleaned it up so it looks GREAT too.To top it all off, his prices were great. After all that he gave me some pointers on how to take care of it and even how to handle it. I would highly recommend him.

Just went there to ask him how much to fix the flat on my son s dirt bike. Rude, rude, rude. How can anyone say this guy is professional? I asked him if I have to replace the tire as well. He cursed and said I don t know, I have to do this but with such bad attitude. There is no need for this guy to treat potential customers like this. Why does he think it s okay? By the way, I stopped by about a year ago when u was looking for a dirt bike and he gave me the same nasty attitude for no reason.

I purchased my first bike from Scotty's Powersports on a whim. Scotty got me through the training process and licensing procedure. Now on my 3rd bike, a Harley Road King, I can truly say that Scotty's knowledge, skills and creativity is truly amazing. Great service at a fair price. In many, many situations, Scotty is truly an expert and craftsman. He does it all. Highly recommend! It's amazing that when you're at his shop, how many customers stop by to say hi. Great service and very honest pricing. A let better than going to the dealer!!

If you are looking to walk into a shop and have a sales or service person pretend to explain how complex working on a Harley can be that's not Scotty. He is an old school, say what he means guy that will give you the lowdown on your bike. He tell's you what he thinks it will cost, communicates during the process, doesn't sugarcoat the needed repairs to make the bike safe and in top shape. At the end it's a fair price and only the work needed! He knows his stuff, in my case I know some things but also know when to keep quiet and listen!

I am thrilled with the service and prices that Scotty provided me. I brought my son's Hensim 50 cc quad to get a tune up, a new tire and a battery. Scotty finished the job the following day. He also thoroughly cleaned the entire quad and engine and carburetor. He returned it to me in showroom condition. He even replaced a few minor things for me that he felt needing replacement at almost no cost. The quad is now running like new. I would recommend Scotty's work to anyone. Thanks Scottys. -Christian Russo

I called in with a simple question and the owner had a big attitude and was very rude. Scotty said "I don't work for free pal, I've been doing this 40 years. If you bring it in I don't know if I can help you or how long it will take. Good luck pal." I always go out of my way to be polite and courteous since I work in customer service myself. All I needed was a replacement battery charger, I was met with an impolite response and a big ego.

Went to Scottys to get an oil change, he showed me some other safety issues I had going on. He was very thorough and explained everything, not to mention the price wasn't bad. I liked how he not only explained the issues but also showed me them instead of just saying its this or that and it will cost this amount. Will be returning for further work.

Went in to have the front forks re-sealed on my Ducati monster. At the time most shops that would even work on a Ducati (there are not alot around here at all) wanted 4 or 5 weeks to do the work plus an arm and a leg as payment. Not only did Scott repair the forks for literally half of what everyone else wanted, he went through my bike free of charge (after he asked my permission to do so), found some other issues which I agreed to fix, and had my bike done in a weeks time! When I picked up the bike he had detailed the whole bike. The thing looked damn near SHOWROOM condition, and to top it off he added in some extra services free of charge. I will undoubtedly be going there from now on for service/repair and recommend his place to all my friends that ride. Overall great service, professional attitude, and at a very fair price. Thanks again scotty!

I Had Scotty service and mount 4 tires to my Bruteforce 750. Not only was the service excellent but the price was beyond fair. I would highly recommend using him to service any of your ATV'S, motorcycles or any other off road vehicle, I know I will.

These poor reviews are all B.S. I have been going to scottys power sports for three years and believe me scotty is thorough , very knowledgable, and his prices are very reasonable. I live in fear he will retire because he is if far more experienced and honest than any dealership I have been to. Honest and knowledgeable mc mechanics dont grow on trees people. Go to him one time and you will be sold. Nuff said

Words cannot begin to express what a wonderful person Scotty is. He is honest, fair and puts all his customers first. He worked on my bike, got it running like brand new and gave me tips on keeping it that way for years to come. If you are tired of the BS and overpriced shops, go see Scotty and tell him Tommy sent you.

After reading good reviews I brought wife's bike to have the tires changed. I wasn't thrilled with Scotty's attitude from the beginning and the fact he used brake cleaner to clean the chain and mounted front tire backwards left really bad impression.

Scott took the time and helped me walk through a transmission problem over the phone as a first time customer. This saved me time and money on my vehicle. Definitely recommend using this business for any of your vehicle needs. Thank you, Scott!

So I knew what I was getting into before I went there, but let me tell you that when I first started to speak to him, I knew that this man has many many problems and he needs help. God Bless him please. Even one day later I still feel the pain I feel how he treats people. I feel very sorry for the lady who had to sit thru how he treated us. Please everyone stay away from him. But I give everyone the benefit of the dought, after insisting he is not going to help us he then says you need air in your trailer tires, he said I have 19 pounds you need 45 pounds he then put 45 pounds of air in my tire and 10 miles away that tire blew and when it blew my axle broke in the trailer.
