AMAZING service yet again for my family! Mahopac Auto Repair has some of the nicest and most trustworthy people there. They tell you only what's needed (no fake add ons like many other places!), fix it on time and are extremely professional. I highly recommend them as your go to auto repair facility. Starling, Santiago and the whole team there are truly a pleasure to work with. I wish everyone was this honest and kind in business. Thanks guys! :-)

Mahopac Auto is a quality repair shop with knowledgeable mechanics and fair pricing. Over the years I ve brought multiple vehicles with mechanical problems, some small and some large, Starling and his mechanics have always come through with A1 service and speedy repairs. I highly recommend this shop for all your car needs !

Been looking for a reliable and trust worthy mechanic shop up in Putnam for two years. Went to the shop the other day, wasn't told to come back later like most shops, Santiago came out and instantly took a look at the car. Once he diagnosed the problem, he brought me in and showed me what needed to be changed. This was after a second opinion from another shop that wanted me to do upper and lower control arms and struts for both sides, Santiago explained all I need is the upper control arm. If you are looking for professional and friendly service Mahopac Auto Repair is the place for you. I have a 12-year-old Mitsubishi Outlander Sport that I have been taking to the same dealer where I purchased the car for years. A couple of weeks ago, I ran into a start failure issue. This was an intermittent issue which only occurred occasionally, still something I wanted addressed. When I took the car to the dealer, they held my car for three days saying they were testing it. However, allegedly could duplicate the issue and figure out the root of the problem. The dealer finally insisted the issue was a sensor that would cost over $2500 to replace. I said absolutely not and requested they give me back my car so I could get a second opinion. When Sterling inspected the car, he immediately identified the issue as the alternator which ultimately drained the battery causing the start failure. The parts have since been replaced and the car is running like a dream. Thank you so much Mahopac Auto Repair for your honesty and help. It is truly refreshing, appreciated, and the money you have saved me is a blessing!!!Service: Auto maintenance

Best auto body shop in town. My family has been going to these guys for a while and they never disappoint. Got a new battery put in my WRX in 15 minutes. Stopped in as recommended by my friend and was very impressed! Had nothing major done, but first thing you notice is the shop is super clean. And this tells more than you need to know, because it says they care about what environment they work in, it makes for efficient work, and a safe work area. If they care about that, then you know they care about your vehicles. Was greeted most friendly and received service with a smile!Will definitely be back, and will pass the word along, as it's the best advertising money can buy!

Great prices and very honest. I went to others and they suggested I replace the whole muffler system. They knew what to do to stop the noise without having to spend a fortune. Won't go anywhere else for car repairs going forward.

Stopped by today as a new customer over at Mahopac Auto Repair. Nothing but good things to say. Was inquiring about some exhaust modifications and I was not let down. Hospitality is great along side the quick professional work with thorough communication throughout the process. Will definitely be back for any repairs, upgrade modifications, inspections etc. Gotten multiple quotes for the same labor/task and by far got the most fair price with them. Will be back! Brought my 2018 Audi S6 there to get muffler deletes done along with getting quad 4 tips welded in and they did an amazing job. I spoke with Starlin about what I wanted done and how I wanted it to look and they made it happen same day! Couldn t be happier with the end result. These guys are the best. I was having an issue and went to Mavis, who in turn sent me to Mahopac Auto. That was 5 years ago and I haven't been anywhere else since. Whatever my car issues are, I can run over at any time and they find time to diagnose and set a game plan to help me out. They are more than reasonable and the most efficient and friendly auto mechanics I have every worked with. When in doubt, Mahopac Auto will help you out!!!!

Pulled up and was tanken in rite away, Starling is a very straight forward guy . His mechanics are very knowledgeable and honest. Had my lights done here and oil change plus a quick tire and rim swap I was in and out in an hour . Highly recommend going to this shop the prices are awesome!! I ran across this mechanic when I first moved mahopac and they have been a blessing. I had major issues with my Subaru Outback and they repaired every problem, kept me informed of all the issues that the vehicle had and always asked for how I wanted to proceed. Often times trying to find An honest and reliable mechanic is difficult. If this is a concern that you have I recommend that you bring your car to Mahopac Auto. They are extremely professional , honest and reasonable. I have taken three of our cars there for service. Thats not counting my mother in law, my niece and brother in laws car. I usually read people's reviews when i make a purchase. I'd figured i pay it forward for anyone looking for a reliable mechanic.
