This started as a great experience, until we got the machine home. We actually remarked on how much smoother the transaction was than five years ago when we bought a walk behind here. This time we bought a new Z930M from Karly who was fast, knowledgeable and professional. We went in Monday AM, and she set us to pick it up Wednesday AM. Great. It was there at 8:30 when we came to get it. We looked it over, but when we got it home, we noticed big rusty chunks out of the ROP brackets. When I called, she apologized and said it happens to all of them and they could give us some touch up paint. We have a 13 year old zero turn that was purchased there new and it has zero damage on those brackets despite 1500 in-service hours. This one just came out of a crate. What? We plan to keep this machine just as long so rust on day 1 is not acceptable.I called back and she said it happens unloading them and it should have been touched up by the technician first. It s a pretty serious impact as you can see by the pictures. That concerns me and will be in the back of my mind for the life of this machine. If this was a one-off accident, we should have been told and we would have chosen another machine. She then offered to have someone drive out and and and touch up the paint, which we accepted because the machine needs to be in-service. He came to our equipment within two hours and was professional and friendly. We have bought at least 3 John Deere commercial machines here for our small mowing business over the years, and various Stihl items. This is a big investment for our business, and when you work that hard and spend that much for something brand new after 13 years, you want it perfect, and we deserve that.Attention to detail and doing things right matters. You never get a second chance to make a first impression. It should not have come to us damaged and now that s the experience we will remember. It was a stressful culmination to something we ve been looking forward to for years. Let s hope there s no on-going issues from whatever impacted the machine.

I have worked with this group for over 25 years. I have had nothing but tremendous respect for the work they do and I highly recommend them. I had a small issue with my X738 and their service team went above and beyond. Thank you for being such a quality group, and I look forward to the next 20+ years!

If your looking for a team that has your back, it's here. Recently I had a very unusual, persistent issue with a piece of equipment purchased there. Karen, the service manager, went out of her way to help me. It was impressive to watch her explain the issue to the manufacturer on the phone. They care about what they sell and who they sell it to.

My family has been purchasing equipment from here my entire life. I recently brought in a destroyed Stihl tool and walked out with a new one, no questions asked.

I recently had my 2010 subcompact tractor in for a general service (oil, filters and deck cleaning/adjustments) also a repair of a power steering hydraulic line. I was informed that until the line was replaced that further checks for hydraulic leaks couldn't be performed. Once the repair was executed, I was called and informed that there was a minor leak at the axle seal and it would be 20hrs and over $2000 to repair. To what appeared to be their disappointment, I declined the repair and said I would monitor it and get it fixed the following season. An hour later I was contacted and told the service/repair was complete, I paid the bill and the tractor was being delivered that day. I was then called a 1/2 hour later and told that during the loading that there was an additional "small" oil leak identified right above the hydraulic lines that were replaced. I was asked if I wanted an estimate to repair and I declined as it was a small leak. The following day I attempted to cut my lawn and discovered the deck was way out of adjustment (see pictures below). While attempting to adjust myself, I discovered the small oil leak was more of a river (other pic)When contacting service, I was informed that I had my opportunity to fix the "small" oil leak when they called. Not their problem.I find it very disappointing that you award service to a company, receive your equipment back in worse shape than it was delivered to them in ( there wasn't nor has ever been an oil leak) and the deck was so far out of adjustment.I don't recommend using this service department to anyone. I know I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Came in for a broken belt for my older lawn mower, and the parts sales pros Matt Brown and Mark Bennett were above and beyond the call of duty. Both gentlemen greeted me with an open welcome, answering all questions with a positive response and quick handling of the belt I needed. Both sales pros made sure I left with the correct part and if I had any troubles to reach out to either one of them . I will be going back to the Macedon location for all my parts needs.

Terrible attitude from both sales associates sitting behind the counter. I had more of attempt to get my parts from Lowe s associates than from either of the gentlemen sitting behind the desk. Neither person even acknowledged my presence for at least 20 seconds before they decided to help me. The older gentleman who was sitting on the left appeared to be playing solitaire on the computer and pretended not to see me. Matt Brown, when he did decide to help me, found the part I needed, but wouldn t even stand up and get the part. The part was on his side of the counter, above his head. I had to actually reach behind the counter to get the part. Both of these guys had snarky comments throughout the transaction. No one on this staff acknowledged my by presence when I arrived, but they were more than happy to say good by when I left.Counter staff is very unprofessional and lazy.

Took my chainsaw in to get it checked out (would not start) After getting it checked out I was told that I had used regular gas and as a result the piston was scored and the engine was trashed. They offered to sell me a new one did not buy. Knowing that regular gas was never used I tried later in the day to start the saw started right up did some heavy cutting no problem. Cost 40+dollars for bad information. I definitely would not recommend.

I would highly recommend this John Deere Dealership. Recently, I visited the Macedon location in order to shop for a new riding mower. I was greeted by a Salesman by the name of Justin Paliotti who asked if I needed assistance. Right from the beginning Justin was very helpful. He had vast product knowledge, an enthusiastic spirit, and a strong willingness to answer all of my questions.Throughout the transaction we communicated electronically. He was always quick in sending me documents, answering my question, and any concerns. Even after the sale he was able to ask questions that I had with my new machine. In conclusion, Justin is just a down to earth guy who really cares about the customer, and the product he is selling! Therefore, again, because of the good experience that I encountered with Justin at Land Pro of Macedon, I highly recommend this dealership! Thanks a lot Justin!Jeff L

would have gave negative stars if allowed. BE CAREFUL at this place for service, they just want to sell you a new mower. After dropping mine off for a hydraulic line repair, I was told by service it would be $2,800 as it needed new hoses that were no longer made requiring a custom set to be made , then a wheel motor which was also out of production. But they did offer to sell me a new mower "it was time" they said. After telling them to fix it, the repair went up to $3,200 and finally they said they didn't want to fix it, as they couldn't guarantee the repair. Told them , never mind and I dropped it off at a reputable service guy in Webster, Precision. They of course ordered the hose kit from, you guessed it, Land Pro and made the repair for less that $800 which included and oil change, tune up, new battery ,hydraulic flush, etc to boot. Left a message at Land Pro to tell the owner about his service dept. never called, so now he knows. These guys are outright liars or at best really incompetent. STEER CLEAR, Just sayin....

Friendly staff, but after three visits, I still don't have the correct part for my mower (steering sector plate). If you are picking up parts at Landpro, I highly recommend that you know exactly what you need by serial number and have them order it for you. My time is worth too much to me to go back again (even to try and get a refund).

I could not be more impressed with Karen in Service! I ordered a Brand New John Deer from Home Depot(which is a joke!) I had used it twice and on the 3rd time it stopped working. I was returning it and Karen over the phone helped me fix my mower. She saved me a lot of frustration with dealing with Home Depot and John Deer who you can't get a hold of.Thanks,Alfredo Gonzalez

Very very rarely do you find a group of folks that work together so perfectly as they do at this location of LandPro Equipment. Easily one of the single best overall experiences I have ever had with any company at any time in any place. The parts counter people know exactly what you're talking about in an environment where only time and experience will provide you with that. Justin, who I believe to be one of the sales people, is single handedly one of the best people you will ever meet and he is incredibly good at what he does. When my 93 LX188 eventually dies, I will be back buying brand new from these folks because I know that I will receive the best service there is as I already have. Thank you all at LandPro Equipment kindly for what you do!

Had a problem with a seal in the front axle and a transmission problem with my JD compact tractor, so I called this dealership to have it serviced. They picked up the tractor on May 9th with the understanding that it was a busy time of the year and they would be a couple weeks getting to it.The week before Memorial Day, they ordered the parts. Labor for the transmission was the most significant part of the repair and was quoted as 16 hours. After multiple phone calls (with parts on the shelf the first week of June), I was told that they were going to start the work on June 13 or 14.As of the weekend of 6/23, I still don't have my tractor and no estimate for when it may be done.I push my tractor hard, and this is the first major repair in 15 years. However, given the lack of independent JD dealers in the region and this level of service, I will be looking at a different color for my next tractor.Update:Rather than calling, I stopped in to talk face to face. It took the involvement of several people to fully understand how my case fell through the cracks. Because they had to order more parts and the tractor was still going not going to be finished for a couple more weeks (partly due to the July 4th holiday), they delivered on 6/30 a loaner tractor w/loader and a lawn mower for me to use until it is fixed.Given this new response, I changed my initial rating from1 to 3 stars. The only negative at this point is that their process allowed this situation to occur, but I am satisfied that they did they resolved the situation so that I could get my chores done.

Use caution when purchasing equipment from this John Deere store. When purchasing a new 1025r I didn't get to choose the unit, it was chosen for me and was the oldest unit on the lot. I cam back to the store to purchase 260b backhoe 7 months later and found out that I needed the newest 1026r which was available at the time of my original purchase. The service department can not provide any effective lead time for completing installation or maintenance. A job that started out as a three day turn around has exceeded eight days. Each time i inquiry as to an update I am told that they are missing another part and needed to order it. It is interesting that each day they need to order parts for a new purches equipment setup.Disappointed is an understatement.

Parts counter staff was rude then they told be the OEM part I needed was $155.00 plus shipping. I was able to buy the exact OEM part elsewhere for $35 with free shipping.Hi Molly the OEM John Deere part number is AM119831 It arrived in a John Deere package and was identical to the one that broke on my mower. This was my first experience in your store. I don't expect your store to complete with the internet but I wasn't expecting their to be such a large difference.

Very helpful staff. Full range of products. Pricing just as good as big box stores but it's an actual John Deere dealer which makes me more comfortable with any ongoing service.

I bought my D140 here 5 yrs ago. I encountered an issue that exposed a defect in the engine casting. Brendan the Service Mgr and Dan the technician are to be commended for going above and beyond to properly document the issue to John Deere corporate. As a result a new engine was provided by John Deere at no cost to me. I cannot thank Landpro, specifically Brendan & Dan for supporting this customer who will be a John Deere man for life. If you want quality and pro service this is the place. THANK YOU!

Brian Vogt came to my house after hours on his own time to see why leaf shoot would not fit properly. I didn t ask him, he asked me. While he was there, he discovered another issue. Both now have been rectified. Brian is a professional and is the epitome of customer service.

This location was owner operated for a long time before merging with a slightly larger franchise and now a rational franchise. A normal John Deere dealer that also sells Stihl, used to sell Echo products too. Disappointed that Stihl made some parts for a chainsaw obsolete and my only choice to keep it running is a Chinese made one. Clean, plenty of parking, new and used equipment on the lot, complete service department.

Molly, thank you for the response.. I apologize for the lack of clarity of the situation. I believe there was possibly some misunderstanding as to cost to replace carburetor,.which was believed to be 200..so how much?...I definitely know he mixes the gas in can ..be a little difficult and silly otherwise

My John Deere's deck belt broke with under 50 hours. The would not warranty and then told me two different stories. Charged me double what another dealer charged me for same issue with my last mower. Will not be back.

If you have a John Deere (residential or commercial) this is the place to go to get parts, service, or information. If you're in the market to buy one, skip the cheap versions in Lowe's or Home Depot and go here instead. It'll cost a bit more to get a real x series lawn tractor, but they'll last a heck of a lot longer and will be worry free overall. The team here knows their stuff. Definitely worth a visit.

John Deere. Smart people. Great service. Fair prices. When they delivered my new lawn tractor, they spent a lot of time showing me the ropes. They've earned my business!

I had my LX277 tractor serviced for the season by the mobile unit. When I tried to mow the next day I had a dead battery. No issues prior. Called Rob and Brenden the took it to their shop. Tested it and told me my battery was dead a plate had dropped and. Ow putting out very little voltage. Brenden told me it was just Murphys Law that the battery died after the mobile guy worked on it. The mower deck would not engage and that was also do to the battery...ok fine. $90 for a battery I had no issue with before. Mowed twice since and on the second tIme I had an electrical short which melted a wire that is part of the ignition system. When they had the tractor they suposedly checked for electrical issues. Obviously not well enough. I am at the point I would not buy another JD and would not use Lakeland for service. T Nelsons has already had to fix a fuel line issue that Lakeland had "fixed" In the past. Very disappointed.
