I had a car accident last month called North Star Collision, they are the best! Took my car right away and put me on a rental. I just got my car back the guys did such a great job! my car looks like nothing happened!Everyone there is so nice Tom was always so attentive to answer any questions I had!I highly recommend them. I had a such a great experience! These guys are the best!

Love these guys. They will do everything for you and works directly with insurance. Made my car look 100% brand new and smelled even like new car smell after. Will gladly use them again if needed. Thank you for great and efficient work. Even dropped off my car and gave a nys inspection.

Tom at North Star was amazing. He was friendly, polite & professional. He & his crew did a fabulous job on repairing a dent & removing a large scratch on my car for an incredible price. He even polished my headlights to look brand new!! Look no further,go to North Star!!

My commercial van was vandalized and It needed to get back on the road to service HVAc systems. I called North Star Collision and spoke to the owner Anthony. He told me to bring it in right away or he will even pick it up for me. I was impressed with the customer service right from the phone call. They were warm and inviting. Made you feel comfortable. When I arrived at their body shop. They took my van right in and helped me right away assuring me that the van will be repaired and back on the road. They were extremely knowledgable and professional. Very impressed with their facility and staff. A few days later my work van was back on the road and they did a fantastic job. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants old fashion customer service at its finest and professional quality workmanship.

Had possession of my car and returned it with a flat and no explanation. My car was impounded (which is my fault, not theirs) but my tire didn't have a screw in it when they received the car.When I let them know the tire was flat and asked them to fill it, the guy suggested I drive it to their shop without bothering to look at it. Since I didn't want to destroy the sidewall and guarantee I needed an entirely new tire, I filled it myself so I could move it, put the spare on, and left.Wouldn't trust them with anybodys car, or to put any effort into handling a complaint.

I honestly was annoyed that I had to take my car to an Auto body shop after my accident! They were honestly so nice and made my car look brand new! My car bumper looked beautiful and they detailed my car like it just came out of the dealership! I honestly felt like I was pulling out with a new car! Thanks for the amazing work! Honest and genuinely nice people!

This company did not pay the driver to transport his Sprinter Van from San Antonio to New York. My driver said he work so hard rain and shine and has high insurance expensive gasoline. But this owner RICKY VITALY AND TINA. Refused to pay there bills the sprinter Van arrive with no problem but refused to pay the driver. WOW! I believe IN KARMA. Pay your bills Period !

Horrible service and dishonest people. They are for sure running some kind of scam with the insurance companies. My car had a small damage and I was told by another repair shop it costs me around $700-$1000 to fix it. I decided to take my vehicle to North Star since they were close to my work and they told me they will take care of everything with my insurance and will waive the deductible which I was a bit surprised but they said don't worry about it. Too good to be true? They actually did all that and got over $8000 from my insurance company. How can a $700 job turn into $8000 body work? A few months after I received a letter from my insurance company stating that they are dropping me and won't cover me any more. I don't know what they are doing at their locations but for sure they are running some kind of insurance fraud. They should be investigated by the local and responsible authorities. Innocent consumers should not be paying the price of their shady activities.Service: Body & Trim

Just wanna say these guys do the best paint work in the city and owner anthony really stands on his business.I had issues and wrote a bad review and anthony reached out to me himself and not only fixed the previous issue i had with them but he fixed other things on my car too that i didnt even ask for and even when we had another really small issue he made sure everything was resolved.i have had 4 previous cars done with them no issues at all and to know if something does go wrong that the owner will make sure you are good is security and reassurance that your not gonna get with any other shop!If you got german luxury car these the only guys who can paint your car and it looks like nothing ever happened!Thanks again guys!

I dealt with Tom but the entire team was extremely professional with an overall happy atmosphere. Thank you to everyone who helped out returning our banged up vehicle back to us in better than new condition. I literally do not know how they do it but it seriously looks better now than it did three years ago when buying it brand new from the Audi dealership in Lynbrook. Our situation was unique where our vehicle was damaged from a third party of a local cable provider doing work at our house. A ladder fell on our car as it was in our driveway causing, well actually causing quite a bit more damage than one might think. Anyways, Tom dealt with everything and we just couldn t be more happy. Everything was simple from start to finish with absolutely no delays or inconveniences. We brought the vehicle for the estimate, arranged for dropoff and pickup of rental (all at the same place) which my wife did very quickly with no delays one morning on her way to work and about five days later she picked the car up on her way home from work. Like I said, so easy. We are just so happy with the outcome. Thank you everyone.One last thing, our vehicle has a unique dark sparkly gray color and very difficult to match and blend. I was very nervous that we would see the old paint next to the new paint. Nope, not the case here, it looks absolutely beautiful. Perfect in every single way. I m rambling at this point and I m sorry. I just want everyone to know how impressed I am and that is difficult to do as I am meticulous and a perfectionist, except when it comes to spelling and grammar:).Services: Painting, Body & Trim

They were on the site and towed my vehicle very quickly. Everyone will not work there was very courteous and helpful. However it did take them a long time to repair my truck and get it back to me. Also they build the insurance a lot for the damage that was done but never replaced the rim on the side that got hit so I have a rim that's been scraped up still on there when this is not a very expensive piece that could have been replaced easily. Also they somehow managed to scrape my driver's door tint. Probably from moving some trim pieces or something I'm not sure. Other than these issues they did a good job.

My car was in an accident and needed a lot of work. They took care of everything from a to z including dealing with the insurance company and car rental. Job took too long ,7 weeks long got car back inspection due , service maintenance due and cost almost 2 times quotes received from others.Communication is 2/10. I think once they got the car customer service fell.Car was fixed to desire but wouldn't recommend due to over pricing and delay in work completion.You have to delivery what you promised timely and effectively.

Someway somehow they swindled the adjuster from Geico and pulled off Over charging my insurance by literally a couple thousand for a simple fix that needed to be repaired from an accident. Also took quite a long time to fix it (almost a month). Upon picking it up the car had a pretty decent detail and looked solid. They didn t perform any miracles or fix anything else which was expected considering my insurance was over charged. Had a couple things wrong with the car and had to bring it back the following week but they fixed everything within the day and it came out nice.On the other hand, the staff is very nice and treat you like family. Very nice establishment and welcoming always willing to help. Gave me a free rental and took care of my deductible which was very nice.All in all, outside of the far overcharge to my insurance, the time to fix, and having to take the car back to fix things (which is the reason behind my 3 stars) My experience was pretty solid. At the end of the day the car looks good now and everything works.

I got rear ended so I took my car here. i told them what happened, gave them my insurance, and they handled everything for me perfectly pretty much from start to finish including dealing with my insurance! when I picked up my car it looked as though it was brand new. this was also some of the best customer service I have ever had in my entire life! could not recommend it more.

I am a doctor and I am ashamed that such business exists in out wonderful community. They have no credibility. If you bring your car to their shop they will tear your car apart to get better reimbursement from insurances. If you ever get in accident it s better run from them as soon as you can. This time we brought running car and they tried so hard that insurance gave a total loss. It s very deceiving people working there. An owner Mike is a liar. Promises a lot and does not keep promises. Dissemble my car and refused to give me my car in the same condition as received it. People stay away of them. Don t listen their sweet promises. Bandits.

Went in to get my car fixed a few weeks ago and had the pleasure of meeting Tom. He was absolutely amazing and so very helpful. He was able to walk me through the entire process of what my car needs and was even able to get me a rental. He was very professional which assured me that my car was going to receive the best possible care. I m always nervous when it comes to my car, but this is NO longer the case. Needless to say North Star now has a permanent customer :)

This shop is the best. Beyond fortunate and grateful to have North Star Collision in my corner when the unfortunate happens. They made the process beyond easy and effortless on my end. When I had my car accident it was so devastating and scary but Tom at the front desk made the whole process go smoothly. He reassured me that everything was going to be good and that they were there for me with any questions and concerns I had. Their service is amazing and they always answer when you call. This is my FIRST negative review ever. I was so upset I had to write under this business as well as the Better Business Bureau.I wish that I could give zero stars. I am convinced that this company are full of scam artists.My car was in an accident Friday night. The Police officer advised me that if I file a report they have to call the tow truck, that I could not call through my insurance company or AAA, and the tow truck will take it to a shop that is "in rotation" but I could speak to the tow truck driver and see if he would take it where I wanted it to go. Needless to say the driver refused and said he had to follow the "rotation". Ok, fine.Saturday morning, I woke up and called North Star Collision, numerous times, until I decided to select the emergency option on their machine. I was notified by a tow truck driver that the business is closed on weekends.I called on Monday and spoke with Tom Digrazi, who informed me that the storage fee from Friday until Monday was $543.12, even though I tried to get my car out of their possession the next day. He also advised me that whoever picks up my car would pay the charges, whether it's a body shop that I want my car to be towed to, or my insurance company.I was unable to get my car out on Monday, because they close at 4pm, which is another issue, Because I work and get out at 4pm.So I made arrangements for my insurance company to pick it up the following morning. I received a call from my insurance company advising me that North Star Collision would not release my car until I paid the fees (What fees?, the fees that I was told by Tom would be charged to my insurance company?) Ok.So I called North Star Collison and spoke to Chris (the owner) to see what was going on, and now that it was the next day, instead of it being $543.12, it was now $733.21, a $190. difference. I proceeded to try to pay over the phone, because I just wanted to get my car and be done with this company, I was told they take CASH only. SCAM!!!!!!! I was extremely furious. So now I have to leave work early, run to the bank, and run to pay them before they close at 4pm so that I am not charged yet another day.When I asked Chris why is the final price $190 difference from the day before, he stated, they forgot to include the daily rate of $35/day x 5. Even though when I spoke to Tom the day prior, he said if I pick up the car that day (Monday) the fee was $543.12. SCAM!!!!So because their business is closed I am charged for the weekend as well as when the car was dropped off, which was 11pm Friday night, which I feel is a rip off. It's not even about the money, it is the principal. If it were my decision to bring my car to North Star and to leave my car at the shop, then I should be liable of ALL charges, but if I wanted MY property, off of their lot, and the ONLY reason I could not get it was because they were closed then I should not be held accountable.Also, the invoice was handwritten and they could input any amount, they were in the mood of making that day. They even had on the invoice $80 for "clean up at scene", there was NOTHING to clean up, I waited while my car was put on the flatbed, and literally drove off with the tow truck and the police followed, and $100.00 for "tow out" My car was driven out, by the tow driver Geico sent, so what is the Tow out for? They just added whatever they wanted.Big Scam Artist

My car got hit in front my home (I just got it back out another shop for mechanical issues and parked outside just for one hour when it was slammed into) and I could not open my driver door and the whole left side was damaged by a young inexperienced driver. After it was reported to the police I called up Chris. Chris always did work on all our family cars... detailing, scratches, bumpers, etc you name it. So of course I called Chris and he told me exactly what to do and not to worry! Chris and the NorthStar Collision team are really great! They basically saved my car. My car was old and I explained, I just can t afford a next one. Chris understood...! As you can see his team did fantastic work. It s like nothing ever touched my car and he detailed it before I got it back! I was floored. I love NorthStar Collision -Lynbrook!! I ve been doing business with NorthStar for over 20yrs. I have a high end car and I chose NorthStar instead of going to the manufacturer. I just got my car back today and to say satisfied would be a huge understatement. My car was repaired cosmetically and mechanically. I had extensive damage and my car looks like it came off the showroom floor and is running like a brand new car.
