I can tell you that I COMPLETELY trust Jasper of Merrick Automotive and his staff.They are highly competent, extremely fair, explain everything with great clarity, and reasonably priced.I had major brake work done here in late December, 2023, to my great satisfaction.This week, Jasper will replace the starter and ignition box on my 2016 Toyota Yaris, with 92,000 miles on it, now exactly eight years old.I grew up in Lynbrook, and my friend Jimmy from North Star Collision & Towing put me on to this wonderful automotive mechanic and body shop firm on the Lynbrook/Valley Stream border.I could not be more pleased with my experience here and look forward to be a lifelong customer.

I took my car to so many places regarding its very high vibration issue in the engine but none of them solved it actually, but they resolve the issue very professionally in a very short time. I will recommend this place to all my friends.

My Chevy Traverse wouldn't start. I left it in the early morning, and by late afternoon all repairs were thoroughly and professionally completed. I was ecstatic when I turned the key and heard the engine roar once again. The results were worth every dollar spent. Great service. Accommodating if you call ahead of time and make an appointment. New owners are very respectful of your time and overall provide great service. Highly recommend especially with their prices. Cheapest repair shop with quality work! Will return for all future car repairs/inspections!

I am very happy with the work done by Jaspal at Merrick Automotive. To me, the most important aspect about going to an auto mechanic is knowing that he is honest and that you can trust him not to sell you on things you don't need. Jaspal covers both. In my most recent visit, he told me about the things that I was going to need in the future, which helps me prepare to cover those expenses, unlike a lot of other mechanics who try to scare you into getting a certain service immediately.The service at Merrick Automotive was also very quick. I have to say I am really grateful to have pulled into Merrick Automotive this morning I was on my way to work my 2012 Camaro engine light said the my engine was running out of power. For a few months my car has been acting different and I was hoping it was nothing big, anyway Jesse took me to work and looked at my car and told me the oil cap was never put back on my car from the oil change I got months ago!! wow he said he was just going to give me an oil change and it should be OK. I was lucky he told me. When I went to pay I ask if he could give me a price on Brakes he said he looked at my brakes and I do not need any yet!! another wow. It is so nice to find a shop that is honest and cares, I work in Valley Stream I am telling anyone I know this is great shop !!

Experienced workers inside, and Jessie the owner doesn't try to steal your money. They only tell you what's actually wrong with your car, won't try to hassle you for other things that don't need fixing. Got myself a mechanic shop for life.
