Anthony worked with my 85 year old mother and explained she needed a new transmission and gave her 3 options. He is a kind and patient man and he make the complicated simple. This business responds to customer in a timely manner and they work as quickly as possible. I highly recommend this business.

There s really no other way to say it Anthony is a honest, wholesome; and down to earth guy that got my Ford Fusion back up and running. Communication was flawless and the turn around time to get my transmission fixed was great! Thanks again Anthony!

This place was amazing !! Anthony s customer service is outstanding. I came to him with a problem and he made it happen for me. He was so understanding and willing to work with me to get my car fixed. I had to get a whole new transmission and it was worth it.. they even put on some breaks I had in my car as a courtesy!!! They also offer finance options as well which makes things so much better. Don t miss out on this place !!! They are truly amazing and had my car ready in no time thank you so much Aamco & Anthony !!

Best experience with Anthony. My car felt like it was having some issues but no code or anything was coming up to show a problem. Anthony suggested it could be a mechanical or electrical issue but the car won t show what s going on. Unfortunately my check engine light came on sometime later and called Aamco and spoke with Anthony to see what the issue is. It was able to fixed and I m so grateful. When I spoke with Anthony, he was truthful and honest and I really appreciated that. All car owners wants is to get a fair and honest opinion and that s what I feel Anthony did.

Earlier this month I brought my 2002 Acura MDX to Aamco and was extremely satisfied with the outcome. Anthony at this location in Lynbrook took care of everything from start to finish. He was very knowledgeable about the process and mechanics of the car. He, and this is very important, took the time to explain how we would proceed. In other words, there were no bad surprises or pitfalls. He gladly dealt with the folks at GEICO, with whom I have my mechanical breakdown policy and kept me in loop at all stages of the process.I have a 2015 Acura TL that my daughter has at school that has a little bit of a hitch in third gear and when she returns in May I'll have Anthony and Aamco do their thing.A very happy customer,Adrian d.

I spoke with Anthony on a Friday and described the problem that I was having and said that I can come in on Monday, if anything because I had to work. When I arrived Tuesday, I said I know you might not remember speaking to me, I said my name and then he described my car. I was in. Anthony walked me through the process and was very helpful. I never had transmissions problems and he was ready to explain everything. Everyone was friendly and I'm big on service. I had a black jeep and I would recommend this place. Also, I said I would leave this review about 2 weeks ago! I kept my word. Thanks Anthony.

Brought my 2014 Q50 last year February (2022) and had my transmission replaced. I gotta tell you the service I received on my vehicle was amazing! Pete and the team were straight to the point on what was needed and my car has run better than NEW ever since. My car was in and out in less than 7days I believe. Worth every penny! I brought my car in after my car dealer service told me that i need a new transmission. i wanted to get a second opinion and I brought it to AAMCO. I used AAMCO many years ago and I knew there workmanship is second to none. Anthony at Lynbrook AAMCO informed me that it was not the transmission. They charged me zero for the diagnostic and told me it was probably bad gasoline or a tune up that would fix the problem. Anthony was quite professional and could have sold me a transmission for $7,500. I cannot say enough what a great experience I had with them.Service: Transmission

I have a 2015 Elantra with 69k miles. On our drive up to NY the transmission was slipping between gears and progressively deteriorating. I called several shops the next morning to find one that could do diagnostics immediately before the weekend. AAMCO Lynbrook said diagnostic is free, and they have an appointment available that morning. As things would have it, the car was acting fine on the drive to the shop. I gave them the car, they ran the diagnostics, and couldn't find anything wrong. They called me back to pick up the car, and diagnostic was free like they said. They treated me courteously, and I appreciate that.

After my Subaru sat for 2 weeks at North Coast Subaru in Glen Cove while they attempted to get Subaru NA to repair my failed transmission, I finally towed the car to Aamco in Lynnbrook. From dropoff to pickup, Anthony, the manager, was nothing but helpful. I settled on a used transmission with an extended warranty. The part arrived a few days later and was installed promptly. All said and done, i was back on the road in a week, including the time it took to source the part. Very satisfied and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking to repair or replace a transmission.

I called Anthony to ask for a quote on a transmition because in several places they had told me that I needed a new one, but Antony was very honest telling me let's check the car first and then you decide whether to do it with us or not. After they the car he call me to tell me it was the axle needed to be replaced. I am very satisfied with the service, 1 because he was very honest and very helpful and 2 because nowadays most mechanics don't tell you the truth. I % recommend him and his team.

Lynbrook AAMCO rebuilt my 2014 Jeep. After SERVICE TRANSMISSION warning flashed on dash.Their Service and communication with manager Anthony was great. The car was returned in a timely manner No light now! car runs great . Life is good again! I recommend these guys for any transmission concerns.Service: Transmission

After having a dealer try to pull one over on us, my warranty company recommended Aamco. Anthony and his team took care of us when nobody else would. I will never hesitate for a second bringing any Driveline issues to Aamco Lynbrook.

I brought my car here after a TRAUMATIC experience with another local mechanic. I dealt with Anthony from the moment I called the shop, and before my car even got there he was very professional, and an excellent communicator (a rare trait in a mechanic shop). He updated me every step of the way, and I felt very comfortable that he cared about the customer experience. If they were a full service shop and not mainly for transmissions I would take my car there for every need. Highly recommend.

I called to set up an appointment to have my transmission fluid and filter changed. Anthony was my point of contact. Great communication as far as the time it would take for the service to be done. Brought my Honda Civic for a noise of what I thought was coming from the transmission. They held the car overnight and ran tests and diagnostics, Anthony called me the next day, explaining to me what they suspected the problem to be, gave me some options. And didnt even charge me for all that..Very honest guys..I will be going back to them in the future for any needs..Recommended..

I ve been having major problems with my car for a very long time now. I have been to many different mechanics who just charged and charged with no resolution to my problems.I finally was recommended Dario at this office and finally I can say my car is fully functional without any noises or problems. It runs smoothly again.The service was top notch: very efficient, did not have to wait long. The price was very fair especially when compared to other places that did NOT fix my problem. AAMCO Are the best people in that bulling they help me so mucho with my transmission that s know I am so happy that they help me fix my truck and Anthony was the best person to he was the one telling me everything what was going on with my truck and he was understanding of my situation that I was going through that help me with everything and if I need anything done to my truck or my family s cars I ll take it to them so they can fix it am so glad that they help me out and I ll recommend to everyone that I know who new there cars fix to go there and know my truck is ruing wonderful thank you very mucho Anthony

I highly recommend if anyone needs transmission work done on their vehicle go see Anthony and his team out at Aamco of Lynbrook the communication during the process was A1 if these guys were dentists they would make getting all your teeth being pulled out a great experience once again thank you guys so much

Anthony, at AAMCO Lynbrook has made my day! He is very courteous, thorough and patient; He made sure I understood the entire process. My vehicle started having transmission problems which could be costly, but, not as costly as buying a new car , as Anthony reminded me. The car has sentimental values to me and I didn t want to get rid of it, but I was also low on funds. Anthony set up towing and gave me the option to apply for AAMCO care credit, of which I did, and now I don t have to worry about immediate out-of-pocket costs. It offers 6 months of interest-free payments . I didn t even know there was such a thing as care credit for vehicles.Thank you Anthony @AAMCO Lynbrook, NY!

05 Acura TSX - 6 Speed ManualHad some issues with what seems like the clutch making a grinding and feeling softer than normal. Took it to AAMCO in Lynbrook and spoke with Anthony. Was able to get an appointment next day.Based on the reviews I figured it was going to be a decent experience , but Im more than happy with how I was treatedThey had two techs test drive it and found no issue with the clutch and they didn t try to make up an issue just because I heard a sound. Anthony was very honest and straightforward and didn t charge me for the service.Helps me to alleviate a large expense now and gives me a reputable place to come back to. Would definitely recommend, you won t get robbed or slighted like other shops would try to do.Service: Transmission

Brought my 2014 Chevy Malibu to the Lynbrook location. I was experiencing intermittent shifting issues with my transmission and ultimately needed some major work. Anthony was pretty straight forward, he informed me of the issue at hand and provided a few different packages available in correcting issue. From there I was able to choose a package that was suitable for me.
