This is the first repair shop I found and I trust that it will not rip off. My car was diagnosed with one Brooklyn shop as junk after a paid inspection. A Brooklyn shop diagnosed my car as having a head gasket blown off which was totally wrong. So I called this Koppe Volkswagen and showed up on Friday morning with a few parts like an oil tube kit and right side inline fender. He suggested doing some tuneup and transmission oil change for the 90,000 miles car. Valdo did work like oil change , oil filter change , air filter change , cabin filter change and transmission oil change. The cost he gave was way too low compared to the dealer and other mechanics I visited. In addition he fixed a little loose gear shift cable for free which I think he did a very good job. Now my car, a 2004 Volkswagen beetle, seems almost new.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Called to see if they could do routine maintenance and battery change the next day, which they did! Valdo was very professional and knew what to do for the car! Very quick and thorough service! I would definitely come back!

Valdo is the best! Brought my 2009 VW Jetta to him today for the first time. Kind, funny, communicative, incredibly knowledgable (been in the biz for more than 4 decades) and very fair. Not only did he solve the problem, he saved me money. Went to the VW dealership in manhattan prior and they wanted a ridiculous amount. From now on, anytime my VW Jetta needs anything Valdo at Koppe Volkswagen is definitely where I will be going.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I used to live a block down from this shop and I went to Koppe many years ago and they are awesome! The care is excellent! They re honest and very skilled at what they do. I know Valdemar for many years. He has worked in all of my VW and Audi cars. Never Had a complaint. He will work with you on prices and repairs and sometimes he will get your car fix in the same day you dropped it off. Don t hesitate to bring your car to his shop he is honest and does a great job fixing your car

Valdo and his shop are refreshingly honest, upfront, and reasonable. His prices beat anyone and he has kept my car happy and healthy for years. If you have a Volkswagen or Audi this is your spot.Just be sure to call ahead. He s old fashioned. The good kind. Cash only.

First time using this shop to do a repair on my 2016 golf r and the experience was wonderful. Work was done in a timely fashion for a great price and the owner was very friendly. Will definitely go back when I need anything done for my Volkswagen cars.

I drove my Audi 2006 A4 Quattro 3.0 out of the shop after a tune-up, minor repairs and overall maintenance and if the car had wings I would have flown home. Great service, great price and great results. Valdo is an excellent mechanic and top notch service provider. Thank you!

Great place to take your VW and Audi (even if you live in Connecticut). I had my 09 Audi A4 2.0T timing chain service done by Valdo. This was an unexpected repair as after about 8 months and 11,000 miles from engine being rebuilt at a reputable shop in Connecticut, my timing went out of sync. It was going to cost me more to tow it back to Connecticut and even more if the shop determined it was not caused by their parts and labor (which is usually what they say when it comes time to warranty). My vehicle was only down for 2 days and I bet it could have been done the same day if the parts were available. Valdo has been in the business for many, and I mean, many years. This I know because my dad used to have his VWs serviced by him, and this was back in the 80 s when I was a lad. His prices are very reasonable and he is honest when he tells you what service/repairs should be done. I currently live in Connecticut but will be moving back to NYC soon, so for as long as I have my Audi, I will look to Valdo for maintenence and repairs.
