Extremely Unsafe and Aggressive !!!I highly recommend avoiding this place for your own safety. I had a terrible experience recently when I accidentally parked there for only 5 minutes. The owner/big bald man of the establishment confronted me aggressively, to the point where I genuinely feared for my own safety. He even went as far as blocking my car door from closing, displaying an alarming level of hostility. Thankfully, my girlfriend was present and managed to deescalate the situation. It's worth mentioning that I am trained in self-defense, so while the owner didn't physically harm me, his intentions were clear - he wanted to start a fight.I have never been treated with such disrespect and aggression before. It's important to prioritize our safety and avoid places where the owner exhibits such behavior. I urge others to consider their own well-being and steer clear of this establishment.Harold, you and I both know what happened.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

I can t say enough about Gus. He is an excellent mechanic and most important very honest mechanic his prices are great and the custom service is beyond excellence. I would highly recommend this mechanic shop to anyone that needs a great mechanic.

They are so friendly! They took me in last minute before close because the sun was going down and I had a headlight out. Sarah the receptionist, was super friendly and helpful. Best in Longbeach

The best shop for honest work. Gus knows cars on every level, even identifying problems by sound alone.Whether you need a quick fix or inspection, or complete repair or tune-up, there's no better place to go.For reference I still drive to this shop, and I live in Queens these days.

I went to Gus s because my car was extremely loud & had an issue with the exhaust. They diagnosed & repaired my car in a timely manner & did a great job. The price was reasonable too. Not to mention the office staff being very friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back to Gus s. Recommend to anyone needing car repair or inspection.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Sometimes even when you know somethings important you just don t want to spend any time worrying about it - you just want to find a trustworthy expert to help so you can get back to living your life. I felt compelled to write this review because that s the vibe I got from Gus and his team - direct, to the point, efficient solution to my problem. I d recommend them to anybody because they re genuine

Gus is a very honest man. Best mechanic I ever met.I first met him when friend s car wouldn t start. After leaving the car overnight he told us a cable came off and he put it back. We didn t owe him anything. He could ve easily told us it was going to be a few hundred dollars because he fixed the problem. He did not!I have been taking my car to him ever since. He is reasonably priced and has very fast service. Never left my car sitting there without care more than a few hours.

Gus was awesome from start to finish. For me, trust is key. Gus came on the suggestion of a friend, and it turned out perfectly. I strongly recommend Gus s to anyone who needs anything from a flat fixed to major body and engine repairs. My daughter got rear-ended, causing front and rear damage to our vehicle. It came back like new from Gus s. Just awesome.

I have been going to Gus Auto 20+ years and he is the nicest, fairest mechanic I know. His business is reputable and used by many. The guys in the shop are great. His secretary Sarah is phenomenal.

I ve been meaning to write a review for a while. Gus is excellent. Honestly I go to repair shops thinking I will be taken advantage of and I absolutely never-ever got that feeling at this place. Very professional and does a great job! Super happy to have a place like this in the neighborhood.

Gus is the most honest and fair mechanic you could have. He towed my car in after a bad break down on the parkway and would stop at nothing to get it running again! Don't trust anyone else with your car!

It upsets me to see that I did not receive the same honest service as some of your other customers. I had brought my car in for an inspection and was told I needed new brakes and rotors for $280 or else the car wouldn t pass. I declined the service as I felt I did not need new brakes considering the car just has 25,000 miles. I took it across the street to Mavis and passed the inspection without needing new brakes.

They took my car with 5 mins to closing time, had my car fixed in a day and were able to accommodate me picking up my car after hours. Would definitely go back!
