It can be difficult to find a mechanic you can trust and who is fair and honest. But Davis Auto is the place. The entire staff is friendly and professional and really focus on fixing the repair well, but for a fair and reasonable price. Donny is the absolute best! I was worried about getting work done on my car because of all the hassle I ve been through with others through out the years but he made sure I was comfortable and went out of his way to not only save me money(best price in town) but to educate me on what was going on. He fixed my car with no problem and very quick. Best of the best and I wouldn t go anywhere else. Customer service is the best I ve ever encountered at any mechanic shop.

I was passing through town in a rental car from Toronto. The car was making a bad grinding noise and the check engine light was on. I stopped in to Davis Auto and Donny helped me right away even though it was clear he already had a full schedule for the day. I was so grateful for the help. Being out of town with car trouble is never a good time, but Donny really saved the day.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

I worked at the local Napa delivering parts to all the mechanics and auto shops and out of all the shops , Davis were definitely the most and Sincere and straight forward. That is what led me to them the first time i needed service on my Yota. They are always able to get my car done in the same day and are very responsive on social media , keeping you updated as much as possible . It's great to say " I gutta car guy " now lol . I've lived in Lockport 12 years now and finally found a great mechanic. I love that it's a local family business too. I originally needed fuel lines replaced, which he did, excellent job and reasonable priced. But then my check engine light was on after that and they were happy to look to see what was going on, when I heard that it was either not going in overdrive or coming out of, I was afraid of what the outcome was going to be. But when I was called back it was good news, it was the smallest of wires that was damaged that needed to be replaced. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants an honest guy doing the work on their car. I can't thank Davis Automotive enough.

We were traveling through from out of state and had a small issue that was causing major headache. Everyone else we stopped by told us they had at least a week wait to help us. We were leaving for Chicago the next day and couldn't wait that long, but also couldn't make the drive without some sort of fix. Davis Automotive went out of their way to get us a workable fix even though they were about to close and had other work to do as well. It was also a very minimal charge for what was for us a huge relief, and excellent customer service and kindness. Thank you so much for all your help and efforts!

Davis Automotive did an amazing job installing my electronic braking system and air bag system. Everything was done professionally and explained thoroughly. The price was good and there was no hidden costs. True professionals.

Davis Automotive does great work and has very reasonable prices and those two things usually do not go hand in hand. He is also familiar with diesels so I take my truck there. Highly recommended.

Fantastic!! Honest guy. Brought a van in for full time up and he told me he saved me money because some parts were like new so he didn't want me to waste and money. Also brought a truck in and he took care of it. Everything is working great. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Incredible shop! Prices have always been drastically cheaper than any other shop I ve went to & they ve been the best place I ve ever taken my car to. Owner is super professional, informative, patient & understanding! I will never take my vehicle elsewhere.

Great friendly service, being a woman it's hard to find a mechanic that doesn't take advantage of you and nickel and dime you. They are great tell you exactly what's wrong and what needs to be done, for me it's worth the hour ride.
