Had a late inspection done and needed somewhere quick. Mark helped assist me during my needs for a car inspection quite quickly with an appointment and date setup. The process took around a half hour and I was on my way. Thank you guys for the help I really appreciate it! The waiting area is also very nice

The entire team at First Auto are fantastic. I've been a customer of theirs for over 12 years and I wouldn't think of taking my vehicles anywhere else for service. They speak to you honestly about issues with your car and their prices are always reasonable. I suggest that everyone check out First Auto for their vehicle service.

Quick and easy service. Dropped my car off and used overnight secure drop box for keys and notes. Spoke with them first thing in the morning & they told me what the issue was and had my car by the end of the day. Fast, easy, no fuss service is what I enjoy and what I received. Great Service, AlwaysI've been bringing my vehicles to First Automotive for something like 25 years. I find my questions answered fully and without delay, and I'm always treated with respect. Over the years I've developed an easy relationship with owner Mark Kompare and other members of his service staff. Been coming here for years. Service is always quality and timely. Grayson is very relaxed, helpful, and great to talk with every time i have to set something up. I have never had a concern I was being rail roaded or pushed into unnecessary expenses here. Good honest people with reasonable costs and effective results.

My new place to go for auto repair!! After 3 different shops worked on this car..they were the first ones able to diagnose it correctly. They were quick and pricing was very fair.. Customer Service was great and they went above and beyond my expectations..will definitely go back and recommend to everyone I know!! They really helped me when no one else could!!!!

Staff is always professional.Whenever I bring my car to First Automotive for repairs,staff explain what is needed and why and how much it will cost.Repairs are completed in the timeframe promised. I find the staff are honest and the work is fairly priced.

I have lived in a few places and travel a lot. I have had to have my vehicle serviced all over the country and even the globe, and this is by far my favorite place. Incredibly professional. Beyond fair with their pricing. Never had a single issue with any repair that we have had done. Very honest, very clear and sincere, and just above and beyond what you would expect from a repair shop. My family and I have gone here for years. Mark, Grayson and Justin know what they're doing. They are patient as you explain the problem and truly want to help solve it. They don't push for extra service. You can trust them to tell you the truth and make good recommendations. Their waiting room is beautiful, comfortable and clean. They are very responsive and call to explain the issues with your car. This ship always goes above and beyond expectations. Their customer service is unmatched, and you can tell by their efforts that they truly care about solving the problem in a way that is best for you. The only knock I could ever give is that sometimes they can take a bit longer, but it's only because they have so many life-long customers. 6 stars.

Great shop, honest mechanic. Not trying to swindle you out of money like the chain shops. They looked at my car a few weeks back and said "you can pay us to repair this but you shouldn't, you should put that money into a newer car".

I have an older car (2004) chevy and I have to say that I'm very happy with the repairs . I wasn't even sure what the issue (S) were but they found a few and only repaired what was needed! Without giving up safety. I will be going back to them for any future repairs. Thank you for a job well done

I already know what need to fix in my car bcoz I got the report from Chevy dealer I showed the same still then they charged on car diagnostics. Initially they said it would take 3 hours to diagnose but they called me back in 30 mins. I don t believe this auto shop is genuine. Also the $$ Chevy dealer and this guys not much difference. I got a better deal with Vick s Auto 612 wolf st, Syracuse, NY 13208.

Mark, Grayson and the staff at First Automotive are always friendly and helpful. They know me by name, they know my car and always provide quick and thorough service. I never have to worry about my car being fixed right and they do it at a fair price. Great job First Automotive ... I won't trust my car to anyone else

My catalytic converter was stolen off of my car at my daughter's college, Syracuse University and we had it towed to FIRST AUTOMOTIVE. We dealt w/ Grayson who was amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this business for any automotive work! They are professional, patient & had my car done faster than expected. I couldn't be more pleased during this stressful time of our car being vandalized! They also offered a military discount - HOW AMAZING - thank you Grayson & First Automotive we will continue to use you & tell EVERYONE to trust First Automotive! Happy Holidays!

Since the late 90's first my father and I have always gone here. They have a very friendly staff who always say hi and ask about my kids before anything else. They do quality work never had a problem with anything they have done. It's nice to have a place to get repairs done without the worry if your getting ripped off. Thanks for everything

Extremely nice and explained everything! coming from someone who is pretty unaware about their car they made me very aware of what they were doing both when they called & when i picked my car up! they deserve all the 5 start ratings 100/10.

Air conditioning in my Elantra decided peak summer was a good time to give out. I was told my options and the process was relatively simple. Dropped off overnight at First Automotive and it was fixed the following afternoon. Thank you again

Best place to take your car. I am so glad to have found this place. They are very accommodating and fair. Won't be going anywhere else. (Found this place after dealer wanted to charge an arm and a leg for a replacement. They easily saved me $500.)Edit: 5 years later and still happy with this place.

One day, the check engine light and VSC light came on in our 2006 Lexus RX330. We took it to a local auto parts store to find out what the issue could be. Unfortunately, when we attempted to plug in the scanner, it pushed the plug up in to the dash and couldn't connect it. We asked if the person knew of a reputable service facility, because we've had our fill of the large commercial chains, for various reasons. We stressed that we wanted someone who was passionate about accurate, honest service and was genuinely concerned about the care and treatment of the customers vehicle. The employee then referred us to First Automotive, whom we'd never heard of before. So, when we departed the auto parts store, we made a beeline to First Automotive. When we arrived, we spoke with Mr. Gaycen Petitt and explained our situation. He came right out without hesitation and hooked up the scanner, even though the connection had been pushed up in to the dash. He told us what the minor issue was and reset the computer, all as a courtesy to us. We were grateful for his prompt, courtious and professional demeanor. We then made an appoinment to bring in our 2005 Chrysler Crossfire in for an inspection and other maintenance issues. We dropped the vehicle off as they first opened in the morning and they notified us a little after noon that service was complete, what our issues were, and service options. All the employees I spoke with at First Automotive were friendly, professional and took the time to explain what was wrong, what possible causes could be, and options for replacement parts. Overall, I'd have to say I was impressed by their professionalism, attitude and comprehensive approach to customer satisfaction. Without a doubt, first impressions are improtant and First Automotive definately displayed the complete package of Triple A service.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery, Oil change

I have been going to First Automotive since I moved to the area back in 2007. They have stellar customer service which they have maintained from the first time to the most recent time I've had my vehicle serviced. The owner and technicians instill confidence in their customers that they actually know what they are doing. They are timely and courteous, I cannot recommend them enough.
