Going to Dave's was great. He did me a huge favor and was able to look at my friends car even though he was super busy. Thankfully ,besides being a great repair shop Dave is an honest and sincere guy and told me all I needed was a couple of tires in the rear and even gave me a suggestion to wear I could go to get them. Thanks again to the David Banks Crew!!

Great auto repair shop in Lindenhurst. Dave and the workers are honest and fair. He did a great job on our car. I would recommend him to anyone needing minor work to major work on their car.

I always get nervous having to deal with auto shops, because you never really know what you're going to have to deal with. I have never used Dave Banks, but I saw the reviews, and I belong to a facebook group where he is highly recommended. Figured, why not give them a try! I dropped my car off because I was pretty sure I needed new brakes, and I was really nervous about the cost. Dave called me and we spoke through expectations, what I was looking for, and how he can keep cost down. He also let me know I need one other part, which he will fix next week. I cant believe that my car was done the same day! Everyone that works there is so unbelievably nice - and its a great feeling to NOT be taken advantage of. I highly recommend this business, everyone is trustworthy, and they do the right thing!Service: Brakes

Shouting from the mountaintops - GO TO Dave Banks Auto Services !! We d been having such a hard time finding a reliable mechanic since we came to Lindy and this place had my brakes done within an hour, at an affordable price, and even sent a car to come get me and pick the car up. Above and beyond service . So so happy. Honest and reliable!

Dave Banks is a great man and employs the best mechanics around that provide quality service and I have been using him for 20+ years and have never left unsatisfied. This place it great! Dave and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable and the cost is very fair. I stopped in for an oil change and inspection. It was quick. I normally don't trust shops but this shop you can trust. I highly recommend Dave Banks Auto Service.

Knowledgeable, fast, friendly, honest and reliable!Our family is a new customer of Dave Banks since Jan 2022. Already we have used his services for our 3 vehicles at least 4 different times for different issues. He always manages to fit us in for emergency the same day and always has completed the work that same day.Just yesterday one of are cars was towed to his place at by 5 PM and this morning at 8:30 AM received a call advising us what repairs wereneeded and that it was done. Also his price was very fair considering what Mavis (where i broke down) was telling me could be wrong. He is totally trustworthy and communication with us is always top notch. Obviously his mechanics know there stuff too. They are a great team. So happy we found Dave Banks Auto Service!!Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

Honestly of all the mechanics I ever went to I would highly recommend Dave's shop by far. Really good people. Very friendly. I brought my car there numerous times and I genuinely trust these people to do the right thing. Which is hard to say about a mechanic these days if I'm being brutally honest. One of the most honest finest men I have ever met Dave Banks he NEVER over charges or does any unnecessary work on your car. Prices are very reasonable and the the whole staff are courteous and pleasant

Just brought my Chrysler 300c into Dave today they fixed my issue quick and very reasonably priced. Everyone is so nice and Dave will take time out of his busy day to answer all your questions. I felt so comfortable there I will never go anywhere else and will tell everyone I know to go see him. So do yourself a favor and if your car breaks down take it to Dave Banks auto.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Most honest mechanic you will ever find! Firestone failed my inspection with a $1,700 bill to do a brake job and two tires. I had a friend do the front brakes and tires, but suggested I go to Dave to look at the back brakes. Found out that the brakes I had were brand new! Dave finished my inspection and he and his crew are the most kind people. I saved over a grand and made new friends. Can't recommend enough!

They do really great fast solid work and at reasonable prices. I am already going back my 2nd time to fix more problems with my vehicle. I feel alot safer now and Dave is very nice, professional and honest. I highly recommend you bring your car here for servicing.

Dave, Christopher & the entire Banks Cr�e are fair, upbeat, professional, very knowledgeable, and take great care of my vehicle. Dave & the Staff are completely upfront with cost estimates and time frame repair estimates, which I appreciate.Plus every once in awhile Dave may pull out his guitar and sing a song as we're waiting. He's pretty darn good! Today I was serenaded to the tunes of Neil Young, & some Elvis too.as they checked out my radiator.It's nice to have a neighborhood place that's honest, trustworthy and just a very friendly, upbeat place to go! Give em a try! Happy Trails

Dave, Chris, and the entire staff is super friendly. Brought my husbands car in 2 weeks ago for his broken AC. It was my first time going there. They needed to order a part.2 days later, the car wouldn't start. Chris was there in less than 10 minutes to jump me. They don't even know me and went out of their way to rescue me on my way to work.Brought my husbands car in today to get fixed, they dropped me off at work and then brought the car to me. What exceptional service they have!!!! Btw my BIL is a mechanic and said they gave me a very fair price. No one treats their customers they way these men did, they went above and beyond!They have gained life long customers.Service: A/C installation & repair

Dave came to my rescue. A heater hose blew in front of the shop, on my way home on Friday @4pm. I had never been to his shop before, but I was treated respectfully. He had one of his technicians help me out, despite the fact that they were busy and were about to close in an hour.If you re looking for an honest mechanic/ business owner; then you ve found your place.

I wouldn't take my car ANYWHERE else but to Dave's whether it's for a routine oil change or something that needs to be repaired Dave is the person to see. Dave Banks Auto Service is honest, reliable and very fair priced. Dave goes above and beyond when it comes to his customers. I recommend his shop every chance I get. Bring your car there you'll be extremely satisfied and will see what I and all of his customers already know....

I have been using Dave and his guys for years.There is not much to say other than he is Number 1 in my book.Honest, trustworthy and very professional.I have referred many people to Dave and they all call me back to say what a great experience they had.
