Danny was wonderful! Excellent experience! Darrell is the man!!! He made my exhaust PERFECT! I ve owned this car since 1983 and the exhaust has never been this solid!!! THANK YOU GUYS SOOOOO MUCH!!

I've been going there for the past 6 - 8 yrs with my car now. Danny & his crew are the most honest people you can ever meet at a mechanic shop. I had to go there this past weekend. They are truly the best.. I also had my Boss go there couple months back and he was very pleased with work and the price. I totally recommend them 100%.

My kids 2002 Honda Accord Overheated last week in this heatwave, the car just made it to Meineke Levittown, Richie was there as usual Best mechanic fixed all my cars, Danny and the whole crew all good people! Great work ! Richie did everything Cost Effective and Fixed The 02 Honda in this heatwave. Never ever had to bring back any car that Richie fixed! TY Again Great Work !!! Very honest shop and ownership. Father-and-son team. Richie and company was great. In and out in 90 minutes no appointment was necessary they took great care of me.!!! Before-and-after photo of the job they did. Removed and installed engine pipe with flex pipe great price.!!! Too.!!!

I recently had the misfortune of having my catalytic converter stolen, but luckily I found Meineke Car Care center to replace it. The team at Meineke were fantastic - they were very reasonable and fair in their pricing, and their customer service was excellent.The staff was very courteous, I really appreciated their transparency and their willingness to answer any questions I had.I also have to give a shoutout to the gentlemen hanging out in the waiting area - they were quite entertaining! It's always nice to have some good company while you wait, and these guys certainly delivered.I had a great experience at Meineke. Despite the unfortunate circumstances that brought me there, they made the process as smooth and painless as possible. If you're in need of any car repairs or maintenance, I highly recommend giving them a try.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I visited this shop about a month ago to have my converter replaced, as well as some other issues fixed, and boy oh boy ! The guys in here are HILARIOUS. And I mean that in a good way. This shop needs a reality show because the crew is outstanding and so funny. My co worker and I were in there laughing again and again as we waited for the repair to be done. I commend your team and how well they work together. Everyone was pleasant and the repair was done fairly quickly. I have had no issues since then. 5 stars! And I would definitely recommend them. Keep up the great work

This shop has their act together! Most of this crew has been together for 15+ yrs. On the exterior they have a joking manner but underneath they are hard core professionals who know their trade. I drove into their shop with some exhaust issues. When my SUV was on the lift they took me into the shop and pointed out the problems. They gave multiple ideas on fixing my problems. We came to an agreement, then they completed the work. In today's day and age it was great to find a professional shop. By the way it was my first time doing business with them and it won't be the last!Service: Exhaust

Richie & Danny truly treat you like family when you come here! They both are very experienced and hardworking people. They know my dear family friend Harry Carriddi that passed on unfortunately he will always be in our hearts. They had my car done within one day and it was the original starter that went on my Honda Sedan. They both were very good at communicating to me, the overall diagnosis of the problem, the overall cost was very reasonable and they were so kind & so sweet! They fixed my car hood as the lock mechanism wasn t working properly they found it and saw it in which they successfully fixed that too. Thank you Richie and Danny both so much for making my car a success and back on the road! Thank you to the fine folks at Meineke Levittown, the receptionist Victoria was attentive to me every time I called (and oh I called) I spoke to Danny every day to find out about the status of my car and he was calm and cool in my attempts to get some details about what was going on. I gave them a grace day and decided not to bother until the next day. I had reached Elon and it was just like meeting Danny s brother or another family member. He apologized and explained the issue with my wait time. Everyone was super cool and understanding. Picked up my car which needed a new cat converter (ty criminals) in the next few days and it s like it never happened.

These guys were totally awesome they took put in a new customized exhaust system and a new catalytic converter in less than a hour! Earlier I got estimates from 3 Auto repair places each wanted $1200 or more one quoted me $1600 luckily I was driving home and I saw the Meinke Store and he was about 70% cheaper!!!! and I didn't have to wait more than 10 min! These guys are the real deal. If you want real honest repairs done. Check them out.Service: Auto exhaust system replacement

I think the people in charge changed or something. I've had multiple negative experiences here. In the past they did good work but my last two experiences they did work i didnt ask for and charged me for it and broke something on my car and refused to pay for the damages. Id just recommend going somewhere else. It can be tough to find a good mechanic and this used to be a good spot but not anymore.Also echoing scotts review where I know somebody else who went here and left with no oil in the engine.

A friend recommended them to be when I had an exhaust issue. Been there twice and they were great. Definitely going to start using them for most things.

Excellent service and treatment. Top notch in every way, they really know their business and diagnosed a vibrating and rattling problem, among other issues, that went undetected by previous mechanics for many years. Very efficient and reasonable. They have a new customer for life, I will no longer trust anyone else with my car. I took my wife's 06 Milan to the shop when the exhaust became noisy after hitting a pothole in the winter. The owner put the car on the lift right away and showed me the leak that was causing the loud sound in the exhaust. The owner was personable and honest with a sense of humor as he made sure that I was comfortable with the repairs. The car was completed within 30mins for a great price! We brought our '03 Nissan in to fix the loud noise emanating from exhaust. Dani welcomed us and promptly placed the vehicle on the lift. Soon thereafter he showed us the issue, went over any future potential issue we might face and gave us a very fair price to remedy our issue.Within 30 minutes problem solved.I highly recommend this business for your auto needs. Very pleased.

Had my truck on the lift within 5 minutes. The mechanics are great, showed me where my exhaust issue was and explained everything to me. Great service friendly staff and got done within 40 minutes. Great price as well. Highly recommend

My dad took his Subaru to the Subaru dealership and was told that he needed a new exhaust due to a rattle and it would cost $7000.He then went to this Meineke store and the mechanic put it on the lift, replaced 4 bolts and that was all it needed. On top of the mechanics honesty, he didn t even charge my dad for the service.This store is honest and I will recommend them to anyone who asks.Thank you for being honest and quick, great service!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Brought my truck into the shop to have a exhaust leak fixed. I installed an after market muffler on my truck but my impact drill didn't have the power to fully seal the clamps causing a leak. The exhaust specialist had it up on the lift in no time and fixed the leak. The price was extremely fair and I was very pleased with the service and timeliness. Thanks guys for the work.

I brought my hot rod in for a 3 inch exhaust system. They custom fabricated the pipes for me. The welds are clean, they hugged the bottom of the truck. It came out great! In and out the same day. The price was good. You get what you pay for. If you want quality, go see these guys. Staff was really nice too. They offered to drive me home if I didn't have a ride.

Fantastic. Ilan arranged to get me in and out so as to protect my classic roadrunner and Darryl did his magic bending and welding up new headpipes to mate up with my new exhaust manifolds. Fair price for quality work. And who should stop by while I was there but no other than Chuck Zito for some custom exhaust fab! He can go anywhere but stops in here. Says it all...Service: Exhaust

This shop was highly recommended to me about 15 years ago by several co-workers. I am very pleased with the work & very reasonable prices, and am so glad to have had all of my exhaust needs taken care of on several vehicles ever since, despite traveling all the way from Kings Park.Both Richie & Dani are such gentlemen & are very friendly, extremely professional & honest. They will do whatever it takes to take care of any issues as needed, and best of all, while keeping things as affordable as possible.I have nothing but great things to say about Dani & his shop.They saved me a ton of money by replacing a section of pipe instead of what would have otherwise cost me 10x the amount to replace the entire exhaust pipe w/Cat assembly at a dealer.They also performed a very challenging header installation on my Mustang at a very fair price despite the difficulties encountered.You will have no regrets going here & will have the peace of mind knowing that you will have any work done properly & at the lowest possible cost.Highly rated & recommended!!!!AAAAA++++++Service: Exhaust

The Meineke on Hempstead Tpke near the corner of Wantagh Ave is my go-to for exhaust work. Dani and his crew are all incredibly friendly and helpful. I've recommended family to go there and they have had success as well.

Had work done a while ago but haven t taken the time to leave a warning for people here. It may sound like a disgruntled customer, but the unfaltering loyalty of a friend to a mechanic center led me to realize the issues here.My fianc� took her RAV4 there multiple times for regular maintenance. After having engine issues, it was brought to this mechanic and after work they said it was fine. About 2 days later we heard a knocking sound from the engine and brought it back. Once more, they said everything was good after work was done. The SUV ended up dying on the highway and I had to pick her up. The car was brought back to this Meineke and it was totaled when all was said and done. Turns out, there wasn t any oil in it after 2 visits that were fairly close.I assume her parents sold the totaled car to the mechanic as we saw it in the lot up the block from her house for a bit. About 2-3 months later, that same car with the sticker on the window and everything was on the block. It was parked in different spots over different days and obviously had been driven. I had already believed they pulled something at this point, but recently hearing stories of others who s cars had had issues after visiting this establishment led me to want to finally write about them.I will not take any vehicle to this place again, so any attempt to reach out would be useless. I am putting this up as a warning to anyone who is looking for an honest and trustworthy mechanic.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

My car needed a catalytic converter, rather than spend thousands of a new set I bought the part and they installed it super. Will be using them again for future repairs. They showed me exactly what I needed and repaired as soon they received the part I purchased and installed very quickly.
