I went in for a warrantied battery exchange and at first everything seemed fine but the battery I was given also turned out to be dead and looking at the battery better is was obviously not new. Some of the stickers were ripped and the terminals had marks as if they were installed for some time. I went back to try and resolve the issue but there was some issue where they couldn't exchange it for a new one. They said my exchange earlier that same day was not in the system and I couldn't be helped even with the receipt until the next day when a manager was working to put in their code. While this location was not willing to help at all the Mineola and Hempstead locations were helpful to resolve the issue.

Horrible experience. The place is a disaster the phones don t stop rigging and the manager keeps putting people on hold. Made me drive for so long at the end lied to me that the part was not in stock. Having evidence that theyDid have it. Don t believe me go and see for your self the nightmare of a store they have. The guy in comercial parts with green earrings was soo rude. Don t like to write reviews but want to save the people the migraines this place produces.

Went on Thanksgiving Day to get my battery replaced and they did it in like 15min! Great customer service! Make sure to ask for Hector! He did a great job!

Don't go at night. I requested a simple pickup and after 4 hours of no updates, I went in there myself to find the employees chilling. Only after me saying I was there for a pickup did they then begin to collect the things I paid for which took 10 minutes. Afterwards, I was given no bags so I had to take multiple trips to drop them off at my cart. No biggie but when I went to take the big heavy boxes and politely requested the employee to open the door for me, he told me I could just push open the door with my back. This is unsafe for a healthy person, so if you're physically impaired or elderly, it would be even worse for you. Also, I saw the other employee at the register yell at a customer so that was fun to witness. Their sales manager didn't care at all, and cared more about one of the registers being short $20 so nobody could pay $20. I'll give them all the benefit of the doubt and assume the two cashiers were just socially awkward teenagers and the sales manager was just tired, but at this point I might just either check out a different store or get my stuff delivered.

Horrible costumer service. The manager was super rude and not helpful. I bought a few small parts that I had to return because they were the wrong match. Even looking at the computer with the receipt in his hands he could not identify the parts and kept asking where I got two of them saying "where this comes from"? He yeld on me. I like the store but dealing with staff like this is very disappointing . This store will be last option on my list.

Edit 9/30/2021: I'm changing my review to five stars because when I needed a group 35 AGM for my 2003 Honda Accord LX, they had an odyssey performance group 35 AGM that dropped directly in. They provided the necessary hand tools in order to complete the job successfully. And the service from management as well as staff was phenomenal. So while it was two stars before, I'm happy to report that this facility has upped its game.Original review:Two stars because this place is enormous and has a vast amount of items. My main problem was a lack of knowledge in items and differences between group 24 and group 24f battery. Also, very difficult to ascertain the maker of AutoZone batteries (ie: Johnson Controls, Exide, etc.,) to make sure the quality is up to snuff. (And this includes the AGM-based platinums).

I like to be there for buying oil filter and air filters and mostly they have it in stock for my Mercedes. Very friendly staff quick and ready to help.

The service on this place is so unprofessional. The guy who work during the night don t know anything about cars or parts they are lazy NEVER want to look for the parts and the answer is always WE don t have the parts. Whoever is in charge of this place needs to upgrade the crew

If I could give 0 stars I would. Overall I love this store but unfortunately this rating is for Fraya. I took my battery to get charge and I left it for a day. Not only she didn t take my information down but never charged it. Really bad customer service from her and doesn t know anything about manners.

Amazing service from Anthony Flores and Philip C. I came in for a new battery, and not only did they come to test it they tried to find my warranty that I had purchased from 3 years ago. They helped me find a new battery and also helped me changing it right in front of the store. While process took no longer than 15 min. They changed the battery at 11pm at night and in the cold!!

My battery had given out after years of life & I went to auto zone to buy and ask if they would install a new one for me. Not a problem they said and a young guy maybe 20 (wish I knew his name) He had a little trouble getting the battery disconnected so went in to ask for help. Out came Phil, who was knowledgeable, friendly, patient & kind to say the least. He wanted to get me on the road again with a smile and teach this young man the ropes as he did.. Your lucky to have Phil at Auto zone, he is a treasure !! THANK YOU Phil !!

They never have a full staff and the line is always wrapped around the store. Never go here in an emergency, if you absolutely must go there make sure you have nothing else to do that day.

I would like to say I had bad luck with my car between alternator and battery so I ended up trying to get the cad started and I went into auto zone and ask for a jump and James G was very help and was willing to do anything he had to do to help me get my car started this guy needs a raise!

Not a great experience, not a bad experience... just a visit to pick up a couple of mundane items. Store is packed with product, but low on staff and is a little messy. Gets the job done though.

Get in the zone. AUTOZONE!!! Finding a 24-hour auto place is like finding a needle in a haystack. My mom and I were shopping at the Kohl's in the plaza when I noticed a sign that said they were open 24 hours. I thought to myself, "Huh, that's good to know." If I was superstitious, ooh, because later that night, the 'Check Engine' light on my mom's car went on. We went back after doing some errands(it was nice not having to rush to get there) and we were told what the problem was. This was at no cost and was extremely helpful. The store was clean and the bathroom was nice as well.

Awesome. Always a bit busy, but well worth it. Picked up brakes for my Jeep at 11:30 pm.Back on the road again that night!Always have parts for my Jeeps!

I would like to thank the Levittown, evening manager, Phil and staff, Anthony Flores for going above and beyond to service their customers. We went to multiple other AutoZone just to inquire about my car brake issues and was ignore and referred to a mechanic. We were questioning the parts they sold us.However, Phil, listened and checked our purchase and resulted we were sold the wrong part. Phil and Anthony both trouble shooted the issue and resolved it. Total concern and respect was given and not only us but we observed it with all their customers.Thank you, Phil and Anthony for the pride and dedication to your job and your customers. I highly recommend going to the Levittown store for your automotive needs, even if its a further distance from your area.Do Not go to the Hempstead store# 2983 located at 55 S Cathedral. The service and staff are rude and manager ( a lady on duty on Wednesday, April 19th after 6pm, was inattentive to the discrimination taking place in the store my her staff. Sorry couldn t get names. But it is a store where most customers are Spanish and may have a little difficulty in communicating but do not deserve to be brush away and ignored.Go to the Levittown store, they have Spanish speaking staff members, specially, Anthony Flores.

Long lines show good and bad.. Good because they have what you need at this Levittown location cause of the massive warehouse. Bad only due to resources or lack of a few other counter folks. I do have to say that the counter folks present seem to be doing everything and beyond to get the customers in and out super efficiently. Some even running and fast walking to get parts. All this done with manners and courtesy. Take note Autozone officials!! These folks deserve a raise and more help..
