I highly recommend theses guys. They were awesome and made sure my car was safe with new brakes and rotors. They stayed late to finish. They were professional and polite. I really appreciate them. Feels like I'm driving a new car.

While I applaud what I can only assume is their attempt to hire individuals with severe learning disabilities I'll be forgoing this equal opportunity employer from now on. Waited nearly 2.5 hours after making an appt for a state inspection just to be told by the apparently vision-impaired employee that they were looking for quotes on a mystery part after leaving my car in the lift for over an hour. I requested my tires be put back on so I could go to an even marginally competent shop after being quoted $700 for rear brakes. Absolutely ridiculous. No idea how this shop has the ratings it does but I ensure you it's not accurate.

I was able to make a same day appt for tire installation. It was convenient to do online and they followed up to confirm via phone. I was impressed with their level of communication, professionalism and car service. Shawn was great at breaking down what my car needed and kept me in the loop the entire time with updates. This is impressive. Both of the customer facing staff members were very professional and accommodating to everyone that walked through the doors, trying to coordinate to get them the services they wanted, same day. If a customer stood at the counter or window, all staff were quick to respond. It seemed like a lot to juggle, but they all did it well. Thank you for all your help!

This review is long overdue. I dropped someone off in Latham the Sunday of President's weekend after 4pm and I heard a hissing sound from my back tire. Goodyear was closed, but Mavis was open. By the time I drove around the corner to their shop, my tire was flat, and these fine folks took me in and fixed my tire. They had other customers and could have told me they were booked solid and couldn't help me because they closed in less than an hour, but these incredible gentlemen bestowed a kindness on someone in need. I can see why they have over 1,000 5 star reviews. They have certainly earned my business. I can not thank them enough.

Came in for a tire change one weekend and the individual in the front named Gavin was completely honest with the wait time being longer than 2 hours, I recently had a beautiful child and did not have the time, but with his honesty I came back on a different day and during a busy time Gavin remembered our previous experience and took time out of their schedule to get my tire done because of my child. This is something that doesn t happen a lot now a days. Common decency and honesty and as a customer from a few shady shops. The honesty was more than appreciated. Didn t try to oversell me more tires. Just did the right thing and even more! Will always come back for tires from Gavin from now on!

This shop is extremely professional, has great customer service, and has prompt servicing time. I had an oil change and an inspection done recently and I was nothing but a satisfied customer. I was greeted upon entering, I was advised what would be done, and I did not have to wait long hours for such. Employees and managers alike are friendly and make the process of car repairs less painful than they have been for many years for me as a female who has little to no knowledge of cars. Thank you Mavis and rest assure I will be a returning customer and recommend everyone I know to this shop!

These guys were AMAZING!! I had a 4pm appointment for a tire fix that I had scheduled that morning and arrived 30 minutes early - Gavin got me right in and all finished within 20 minutes meaning that I was actually done with my appointment before the appointment actually started! Friendly, helpful, and overall just a great experience - would highly recommend Mavis to anyone and will absolutely be returning!!

These guys are awesome! I ve been coming here for various car services of the years and they always do a great job! I m alway up to date on my car services and needed repairs. I used to live closer to the shop but we moved like 20 minutes away. I drive past another Mavis to come to this shop because they aways treat me well and take great care of my car.

I appreciate Gavin's help with an oil change. I booked my appointment (Saturday mid-day) in advance, and despite this popular/busy time, I was seen immediately and was out within the hour. Gavin communicated expected time, additional recommended services, and the associated pricing very well without making me feel pressured. I will continue using their services in the future.

Great customer service. I came in as a walk in appointment for an inspection and oil change. They got me right in and out. He informed me about everything that I needed done with no pressure. I would highly recommend!

Amazing service, they fixed my tire and rim in under an hour and you cannot even tell there was any damage. Extremely kind and helpful and they do great work for a very fair price. Definitely recommend to all, thank you Mavis!

Shawn and Tyler were a great help. They diagnosed my car quickly, fixed my bent rim just as fast and fixed the annoying leak in my tire. Simple, easy and quick. Will be back here for the future repairs my car needs!

First time, I pick up car. I notice something weird. All tires are shaking! ALL LUG NUTS COMPLETELY LOOSE as I m driving down central ave. I tell the manager he says no problem I will refund your alignment. Second time coming back I notice my wheels still shaking all around the car. Come to find out when they replaced my studs they put in ALL WRONG SIZE STUDS! Great! Love coming back to the store to be told sorry we can t refund you anything because we can only cover the price of the stud. Which is crazy when I have 3 they installed that are all incorrect size. I am not happy and the manager James didn t even come out to talk to me the second time I stopped in. He sat in the shop like he didn t want to do customer service. Overall, this place should be inspected to make sure their workers know how to do proper installations because there should not be this many problems from one visit with just fixing a single stud.

The staffs are so nice. Went for an inspection and there was a crack on the windshield, they recommended me a windshield workshop to get it repaired cheap and fast. Definitely a five star service!

This place is the best for all your regular maintenance needs! Took my car in for an inspection and they had me in and out as soon as possible. Hafiz and Gavin run a great store, Hafiz provided great conversation while I waited and Gavin explained what I needed to pass and didn t try to push extras on me. Overall completely satisfied with my experience there as always, couldn t recommended these guys more!

BEWARE! They rip off innocent people and horrible customer service. They stole from me parts that I found out after I went to another mechanic shop. I went to Mavis for a brake job and they wanted $1800! I had no choice but had to pay. They would not budge on the price. Highway robbery and take advantage of people. Better to go somewhere else. They are THIEVES! If I could give them a negative review I would. These people do not fear god or believe in Jesus's brotherhood.

Needed an inspection urgently since it was almost passed due, Gavin, shaun and Haseef were excellent and so were the crew ! I got in and out fast not like other places. DEFINITELY would recommend to anyone to come here as they are so welcoming and easy to talk to.

Do not go to Mavis or and specifically this location. I have encountered many issues with this location but most recent had brand new Michelin tires installed on my Dodge Durango. Right after installation, my entire car started to shake while driving over 65 mph. I went back for rebalancing and alignments and issue still exist til this day. I ve tried getting the tires warrantied through Mavis and it s a nightmare. They did a tire inspection and the manager was supposedly waiting on the warranty guy . After weeks of waiting on a call back, I finally called in again and they said he was on vacation and that they will call him. Days more go by and I finally received a call back from the warranty guy . After returning the call his word for word was that you have a better chance in winning the lottery than getting these tires warrantied . What? What an absolutely joke. Then after not laughing I told him that s this is unacceptable. He then said he had to see the tires and inspect them and I had told him that a tire inspection was already done by the manager. He then says he has to inspect them himself and that I need to bring the vehicle there and drop it off. I then tell him that s fine, I ll bring the vehicle to the location but I would like to stay there until the inspection is done. He said no that s not possible and that I m not allowed to be there. The vehicle had to be dropped off and I can t stay with the vehicle. If you ve been to this location as much as I have you will know the shadiness that goes on here.It s been months and I m stuck with this issue and faulty tires of where other tire shops say it s a bad set of tires with tires with shifted belts inside of the tires. AVOID MAVIS AT ALL COSTS. I ve been going to this location and Mavis for 15 years. I ve delt with numerous issues in the past that I won t get into here but complete rip-off situations where I caught on to but this faulty set of tires issue is the icing on the cake for me. How can a business like this act this way and tell someone that they have a better chance winning the lottery than getting tires that you bought from them warrantied and you ve been going here since you were a teenager? What a joke of a business. Please save yourself the headaches. This is an honest review and I wouldn t steer anyone in the wrong direction. I just want others to know what you will encounter at this place.

I ve had a very good experience at this location; staff was nice, looks like they work well together and well knowledgeable. Despite how busy they got, they work pretty promptly and if added part(s) are needed they do act fast. They were also able to accommodate me with the cost of service(s) I was told I needed done in order for me to leave within the same day with my car properly serviced. I d definitely come back when needed!
