We are extremely pleased with the towing services provided by this company. Their commitment to monitoring our parking lots has been exceptional. The efficiency and prompt response has greatly contributed to maintaining a smooth and organized parking environment. I highly recommend their services for anyone seeking a towing company that not only enforces parking policies efficiently but also does so with professionalism and courtesy.

Despite their name, we were told that they aren t really a repair shop by the workers. They hold your vehicle hostage and keep making promises to fix it only to never deliver. If you try to enquire about the status of your car and what work has been done after the two weeks that they ve had it, they ll become hostile and evasive. Every time you call, you ll be met with an angry response about how your vehicle is low priority and that they might get to it tomorrow. When you give up on any hopes of trying to get your car fixed and go to retrieve it yourself, you may find it in a dirty, trash filled garage sitting bumper to bumper with other seemingly forgotten vehicles. When you finally leave with your damaged car, they ll give you some rude parting words to send you on your way. Oh, and make sure you get a copy of your receipt. It may take 30 minutes of arguing to get it, but it s worth it to have a copy of your bill for the part replacement you didn t need. The whole experience was a nightmare from start to finish. Do not take your car here if you value your time, money, and sanity.Update: The new battery they charged me almost $600 for was defective. Had to pay for another one at another garage to replace it.Update 2: Please be extremely cautious with these people. They have no problem putting their hand on you if you dare to question them or their shady practices. They also have a racial bias & are very happy to make up lies to make themselves look better.

I called Koskinen's two separate times through AAA because my car wouldn't start after sitting in the winter. On both occasions, their technicians assessed my battery as healthy and blamed a faulty alternator and/or starter. Well, it turns out that both techs were completely wrong. The alternator was actually putting out a perfectly normal voltage and all I needed was a new battery. The old battery was completely dead and frozen.A lot of trouble could have been saved if they had diagnosed the problem correctly and simply sold me a new battery on the spot.

Steer clear! They made me wait 4-5 hours on a roadside assistance call three times over the years, while other tow companies weren't busy at all! That's because providers put out an open call to all tow companies and they pounce on everything as soon as it comes out. Even if they're already busy! If you call them on it, they'll make you wait longer! Greedy and spiteful to make stranded motorists wait needlessly. Just tell your roadside assistance provider to make sure they don't send them!

IPD called to have my car towed after an accident and long story short a 3 mile tow turned into $1,000 no excuse and was way over chargedOh and they broke the back window out on accident and admitted it, then was told by the owner that "That's the risk you take when calling for a tow truck" no.... they broke it on accident and don't want to be held responsible. Lesson learned,and will never ever go back

THIS shop is HORRIBLE!!!!! ALL THEY WANT IS MONEY. Charged my mother IN LAW $500 for a transmission mount when it turns out to be WRONG. CUZ THAT WASNT BROKEN . NOW THEY WANT CHARGE HER MORE when it was their MISTAKE. They Charged her husband $366 with no bill of sales. for a downstream action sensor and 2 DAYS later the dash light came back on. My family wanted MONEY back but they just want to redo everything....They mechanic's have no idea what they are doing, Yes they might be fast and CONVENIENT but thats because they FIX THE WRONG THING. She went Maguire and what ever they said they were fixing they didn't fix and now she has to pay $3000 to actually fix it... I say she should get a refund with all that, but KOSKINEN"S seems to think we don't have a lawyerAnother ISSUE is when they made the mistake on my Mother in laws jeep. They told her she said she wanted a fast fix not the right fix.... REALLY, WHO SAYS THAT? A FAST FIX FOR $500 YA RIGHT..... TRUST THEM IF YOU WANT TO BUT IF IT WAS UP tO ME I WOULD SUE THEM.....THEY NEED TO GET THIER SHOP TOGETHER CUZ HOBOS ARE CHEAPER AND DO MORE WORK........ Had my friend s car towed here in the middle of the night because one tire popped and we had no spare. Tow truck driver told us that we would be able to do a payment plan in order to get the tire fixed. Couple days later they called to say that she needed all tires changed and that there would be no payment plan in place, but did not give specifics as to why. Lady on the phone was very hostile at first. I understand if customers are rude, I was not and she entered the phone call immediately rude. Once the car is fixed, I doubt we will ever go here again.EDIT: car ended up breaking down againService: Car towing

My brakes went on my car and 1 1/2 away from my house I called AAA they dispatched Koskinen's tow service to my aid the tow driver I had was extremely nice and understanding worked shiftly to get to me and my car and got us safely back home. Aaaaaaaaaaa

I got into a car accident downtown ithaca. I was a mess that day. It was very scary.. They came got my car answered all my question the lady I spoke with explained everything ask if I was OK and was so sweet. I was very shaken up she really helped. I didn't know exactly what to do. They let me get items from the car the next day and the owner was great. He answered all my calls was super professional even grabbed my plates for me when I forgot. Such a good experiance for a bad situation. There customer service was great and they made me feel like they cared and they were glad I was ok even though they didn't know me. They treated me with such care. I wish to say ty too all the employees who were so amazing and the owner as well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Best tow company I have ever dealt with.

NEVER trust your vehicle to this company. They are unprofessional and have no care for your vehicle. My vehicle was towed by this company only to cause more than $1000.00 in damage, for which they refused to take responsibility, saying there is no way that they caused it. Interestingly enough, it was drivable beforehand and not drivable afterward. That leaves only one possibility. I would expect that a towing company would hire only those capable of doing the job safely and without damaging vehicles that they are paid to tow and to take the responsibility for the carelessness, recklessness, and damage caused by their employees. It is just disgusting that this company is so wreckless but yet accepts zero responsibility - a complete joke! My only regret with this review is not being able to give zero stars.Service: Car towing

David Bestys, not Amanda. Their drivers are great--used them twice now. But, this second time, whoever answers the phone at the business can be rude, not only to the customers, but to the repair places, too. I was informed that this tow company has been removed from the Chevy Roadside Assistance program because of their attitude. How customers are treated on the phone is as important as how good the service is.Service: Car towing

Our insurance scheduled a tow from this place. The eta was about an hour out, but after four hours, no one had come. We called a few times during the wait, they kept pushing out the eta by 40 minutes. On the last call, the dispatcher said the job had been marked complete. These guys are amazing. So very grateful for their help. Called for a tow,they gave quote.Tow From Ithaca to auburn and said they d be there as soon as they could. Within 20 minutes the driver Tim called and said he was 7 minutes out. He got there loaded right away and had us home within 42 minutes. And he was so nice working with us on payment as we needed to do part debit,part cash. He took extra time to figure it all out. And then also wrote out a receipt so we could get reimbursed from insurance. We would definitely recommend them and use them again if needed(hopefully not thou,lol) Thank You Tim for everything.Service: Car towing

I had a horrible experience today with this towing service, and they made my day go from bad to worse. I was on the middle of moving and my car suddenly locked up and stopped driving, and I needed a tow. My partner and I waited, myself in my car and my partner in the UHaul. We were stopped in a dangerous location with oncoming traffic in both directions, and I was already terrified that a car would hit me because there was no shoulder to park on.The tower arrived ready to tow my car and was extremely rude and had an attitude when he came to see me. He spoke over me and didn t let me fully explain what happened with my car before assuming that it was my alternator, which was wrong. He insisted that my alternator was bad even though it was a new vehicle and wanted me to take it to his shop. When I told him I did not want his services to have it done, he checked out and rushed through the interaction.The tower was clearly trying to hurry up and leave so he rushed me to make a decision about what I wanted to do, towed my car to the nearing car service location he didn t even wait to make sure I was following!By the time I got to the car service location, he was already leaving the parking lot without letting me know where he dropped my car off at.I ended up having to call again through Triple A because the car service did not have time to look at my car. As a last resort, I bought a UHaul trailer to attach to the UHaul and wanted assistance putting my car on my trailer since it would not start. The tower tried to get out of coming to see me through Triple A by saying that wasn t a service they performed, and when I insisted I still needed help to see what could be done, the tower came with an attitude again, rushed through looking at my car with cheap jumper cable equipment, and offered no help whatsoever leaving me stranded with no options of what to do next. He told me to call some friends and have them help me come and push my car onto the trailer and left.This was a terrible experience that worsened the anxiety I already had in the emergency situation. I m not sure if it was because of race or maybe the guy was having a bad day, but I will never depend on this service again for anything. No one should be treated in such a condescending and dismissive way in an emergency situation like I was.Services: Car towing, Fuel delivery, Local hauling

This towing company was fantastic! I blew out two tires on my right side hitting a curb. Never had any kind of accident before and was terrified and uncertain about what to do. Todd showed up in under 10 minutes and was so professional and reassuring. Got me right to my repair shop (avoiding the State Fair traffic) in just a few minutes and took an incredible load off my mind. I hope I never need to be towed again, but if I do, I know who to call. Thank you so much Koskinen's for putting sunshine into a very cloudy day.Service: Car towing

This company charged me $70 for a one minute visit. My vehicle was less than 2 miles from their shop. Sure they helped me, just felt like a cash grab.

I dont normally leave reviews but the service with this tow company was outstanding. I needed to get pulled out of the mud. Jared showed up quick and was really knowledgeable about how he was going to get my vehicle out. He was extremely careful about where he hooked up his winch and was able to pull my vehicle out a lot easier than I thought he would. Definitely the first tow company I am calling the next time I need a tow.Service: Car towing

David was a real life saver. He worked in the rain to get my van running again. Jumpstart didn't work but he had a replacement in stock on his truck. Was a little pricey but not outrageous. I wish I could leave 10 stars! I had an "event" with my car this afternoon and called Koskinen's for towing. Jared arrived soon after I called. He assessed the situation quickly and went above and beyond to get my car loaded onto their vehicle then delivered us to our mechanic's. I am so grateful for the great service and timeliness. I had bought a car and 5 hours later the transmission went i was stranded on the side of the road and every other company was trying to charge me 300 dollars but these guys were way more affordable and my mom who is on oxygen was with me and he let us wait in the car for about 10 minutes after he arrived until our ride got there i didn t get his name but he was an amazing worker and i will definitely recommend these guys to anyone in the Ithaca areaService: Car towing
