Always courteous, helpful, and professional. Did I mention that I trust their work and all at a fair price . I bring all my tire issues here. Great spot to have when needed.

No respect for your personal property damaged all 4 of my wheels when they put new tires on didn t even wipe the grease off the rims just caked up on the outside of rim and bad tool marks all over. 1 rim was completely stripped paint around the lip of rim. I m extremely dissatisfied with they re work. Didn t tighten lugs on car last year now they damage my wheels this year. I don t recommend this place for anything. Sad to see a local shop for generations that do not care it s sad to see.

I went here for a NYS inspection and to repair a leaky tire. I had made an appointment so I wouldn't have to wait long. I arrived a little early and my car was taken in promptly. The wait was about what I expected (about an hour) and I was very comfortable in their waiting area. My leaky tire was repaired and the car inspected in a reasonable time. The bill for the tire repair was $40 (not excessive). The checkout took under 5 minutes and I was done. They're very efficient. I'll be back for future work if necessary.

Best service EVER! We blew a tire coming down 87. Threw our spare on which got us to our campsite. Looked at the rest of the tires and new we d be gambling getting home. Called a few places first thing, all booked solid! Called Van Kleecks who said they could squeeze us in the next am. No problem. I dropped the tires shortly after I called because they may be able to do it later the same day. Rich behind the counter was very friendly on arrival, and said give me one minute. He took 2 techs and put them right on it that minute. By the time I went and fueled up and got back, the job was done! I went in to pay, and came out to the tires already in the back of my truck! I ve seen good customer service, but was blown away by this company! Well done!!

Over the last year and three months I have had a wonderful experience purchasing 13 tires. The staff was always informative and most importantly nice. Unfortunately, after bringing my car in for its FIRST tire rotation my car now has a vibration in the front end. The service manager I assume I did not catch his name informed me that I needed to pay over fifty dollars to have my tires rebalanced. He called me unreasonable to question his policy and blamed me for hitting a pot hole. He dismissed my thoughts on the situation without regard to the idea that possibly one of the tires could have been improperly balanced on the back which led to the vibration being noticed when the tire was moved to the front during the first tire rotation. I explained due to my driving habit I might not have noticed it. He insisted I would have and once again blamed me. This is disappointing I enjoyed dealing with Van Kleeck s tires they make you feel confident that you are being cared for. I will definitely not let this one experience stop me from going back. As far as the tire that needs to be rebalanced I will of course use them to do the balancing the service manager might be right it was my fault. Not going back would be shortsighted on my part.

Very unprofessional staff I don t know where to start where I should stop call this morning at 8 o clock. Tell me to come in at 3 o clock they have 10 tires changed out that were loose on my truck loaded. I get told if you come in a little earlier, it will get them done for you, but your appointments at 3 o clock go there at 1:30. They tell my guy that drops the tires off look at the day we have a head of us. Are you guys not a tire shop or just a beauty salon then to top it all off he s told me that I have the wrong size to the tire when I had the same exact tires on two other trucks I don t know if this is a racial profiling I don t know what is very unprofessional staff I get yelled at and told that they don t wanna work on my stuff that s why we didn t buy $7000 in tires from your company because of the attitudes we outsourced it but we go to spend money with a local tire shop and this is why we go to the big box store for guys like this staff like this I won t recommend them to put air in my tire for my bicycle. Let alone my car that s driving down the road with peoples lives involved in it. Here s my review natural I m sticking to know you can message me 10 times I am taking it down.

Competent, helpful and respectful. I doubt they can do this every time, but in my case they took pity on my situation and were able to fix my blow out within an hour and a half despite having a packed full schedule. Another tire place didn't have my tire size in stock, but Van Kleeks did. This was one of the nicer service interactions I've had. They ripped me off. Performed services I didn t request without asking me first and then charged me for it. Disgusting. They are grifters. They swindled $50.00 from me. A set of lug nuts for 4 tires (20 lug nuts) cost $19.95 at Walmart. I could send you a video of me removing 5 lug nuts in less than 5 minutes. The length to which you go lying and scheming!

Wonderful service and very friendly staff. I got all 4 brand new tires for the car for under $400! And I'm going to bring my car back for other repairs also!

My wife s car needed new snow tires which I ordered from Tire Rack and sent to Van Kleecks for installation. The tires arrived, I made an appointment for a Monday, dropped the car - all good. I called Tuesday morning to check that the installation was complete and was told the car was ready to go. We drove to Kingston, pulled in to the lot and the back right tire was completely flat. Clearly no one had actually checked that the car was ready to go.1.5 hours later and VK fixed the rear tire.We go home and a two days later the TPMS system warns of low tire pressure. I checked the tires and three of them are down 8 pounds. I have a compressor and inflated the tires to correct pressure, called VK and scheduled an appointment for following Monday to have them check the installation.The car was clearly unsafe to drive and it was left in the garage until it was time to go back to Kingston. By that time the pressure had dropped to 15 pounds in three of the tires. I inflated the tires again and went to my appointment.2 hours later I was told that they had fixed the remaining three tires - no apology, no let me make this up to you as this is on us - just a curt response you re lucky we aren t charging you for this My lesson learned: I thought that selecting the most expensive installer listed on Tire Rack would be the safe alternative - clearly this wasn t the case.My recommendation: I value my safety and my time - I won t be going back to Van Kleecks

This is the first time I have been here. Just a mount and balance of four tires I already owned. I called Thursday and got an appointment for Saturday. The lady who answered the phone and called to remind me of my appointment was wonderfully charming. I arrived early with my new registration sticker in my hand and they offered to put it on for me, I expected to be charged a small fee for it but there was none. I forgot to tell them I wanted to keep my snow tires that were already on my car and when I reminded them they were friendly and understanding. However the thing that made me write the review is I was very pleasantly surprised to see my old tires in garbage bags so that my car didn t get dirty. That is the first time a garage has ever done that for me. I also thought it was very nice that they backed my car into the pickup spot. It really is the little things that make a difference. On top of that I found the services reasonably priced and I m happy to say I didn t get the sales pitch of you need brakes , etc. We will definitely be continuing to come here for our tire needs. Thank you!

I often work on my own cars, but this is the place I bring my cars to when I need an alignment or inspection done. They are able to accommodate to lowered vehicles which is a huge plus. I have brought to my car a local quick lube/ carwash that does inspections and after waiting over an hour, I was told my car was to low to be inspected there.At Van Kleecks it is really easy to set up an appointment, and get your work done by friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Good service when I went for tires ( just 2 ) and fair priced, however when I went back for an inspection I told them I also would like a quote on struts & shocks, the mechanic ( different from the 1st time I went so I consider that ) told me I needed over $2000 in repairs and to junk the car. Every other mechanic I went to told me struts & shocks are not part of inspection unless they are completely broken not just worn,.That isn t the problem though the only thing that bothered me is if you think my 13 year old car isn t worth repairing and you won t pass it on the inspection why bother to sell me the tires for a useless vehicle? Like I said, it was 2 different mechanics at the time so they may have had differing opinions but more consistency among workers would ve been great.The 2 tires I purchased still work , so I m not faulting them for that but the car did pass inspection elsewhere... w out even changing struts & shocks ... maybe their extra cautious on inspections which can be good ... guess it s how you interpret it , but they didn t charge me for the time they would ve failed the inspection I will say that much. . Not bad people tho for tires

A slight bit on pricey side but well worth it. We've used Van Kleecks for many years because of the level of quality service we've received. From making the appointment.....to ...either dropping it off or just waiting for the work to be performed....to..... paying for the work.....it's all quite a smooth process. We find the staff to be both friendly and accommodating and they have a reasonably comfortable waiting area. I would suggest you give them a try and see what you think. I think you won't be disappointed.

Went there first an alignment but something was frozen had to go to my mechanic to free them up but they never charged me a dime

I love this place!!!! My car passed inspection and my battery was replaced!!! Fair honest and kind people there. Love the free wifi and coffee plus they had a Christmas tree and an electric fireplace in the waiting area!!! So cozy!! I highly recommend this place. A convenient location as well!

This where the locals buy their tires. Why? Fast, variety, good prices. I cannot comment on their front end work. Clean, orderly shop (yes, that means something). Comfortable, basic waiting room. Easy parking.

Bought tires from them. I ran over a nail stoped bye another shop close to my work to get the nail fixed (proximity was why 40 miles away from home). They told me tire was shot I need to buy a new one shame was only 3 weeks old. I wanted the same tire so drove on the spare back home then to Van Kleeks the next day to get the same tire. The tire was not shot they fixed it. And fixed it for free.

I knew I needed tires before winter so on a whim, just driving past on a recent cold afternoon, I pulled in and asked if they could put four of the same on my big SUV. They asked, "When?" I said, "Now". After a brief consultation with the boss (the guy you hear on the radio) and an affirmation of the price, my vehicle was in the shop and I was in their large Covid compliant waiting room. Everyone was masked and friendly and an hour and twenty minutes later I was on my way. You can tell when someone knows how to run a business and how to treat a customer.

I ve been using VanKleeks for my tire purchases from many years. They are honest, professional, and while their price might be a bit higher than some of the discount shops, you d be hard pressed to find the excellent service they provide elsewhere.They ordered the tires I wanted, didn t try to up-sell me, made an appointment for 2 days later, and had a lovely lady call to remind me of the appointment.... I was in and out of the shop within an hour.They mounted the new tires, stored my winter tires for next season, and checked my spare tire for me. Thanks Clayton & the gang..... the service you provide is much appreciated.Eamon

Helpful staff with efficient and fantastic services! They did a great job: "alignment" of the front tires of our 2nd hand car we bought in Chicago and my husband got secure feeling continuing our 5 months road trip.Most important they did it on the spot in less than 30 minutes. 4 thumbs UP....

Update: still great place! I go here for maintenance regularly.They did a great job installing my new RPF1 wheels and making sure the new tires didn't rub.

My first visit was for a simple inspection. I was blown away when they didn't tell me I needed anything, since most better known and chain places are notorious for coming out with the bad news. Since then I have been coming here for tires, rotations, oil changes etc.After a visit to the dealer who told me my brake pads had only a certain width and needed to be replaced, I brought to Van Kleek and they were like, "oh yeah that's only HALF of the width of the break pad. Come back in 6 months". They will talk to you like a respectable person.They also have free rotation and full warranty with tires purchase and always service with a smile, or at least with humor. And good coffee!

Brought a Bobcat tire in for a new tube and dropped it off just before my 11 o'clock appointment. Got a call 20 minutes later that it was done and went to pick it up. I was checked out very promptly and as I was folding the receipt I was trying to figure out how I was going to lift the tire and rim into the back of my pickup. One of VanKleeck's mechanics saw me and asked if he could help me load it. Before I even got a chance to help, he had it loaded! I thanked him profusely and I thank VanKleeck's for employing thoughtful people like him. I would certainly recommend VanKleeck's Tire to anyone who asks. Thank you, again.
