We stayed here back around 2000, and picked Nordick s out of a sense of nostalgia when we decided to visit LG for a long weekend.Wow! We were so happy we decided to stay! The rooms were super clean, the property extremely well-kept, and the pool and patio (with a beautiful fire pit) delightful.It s a very do-able walk to the Village, and offers seating outside your room with a view of the lake.So nice to revisit Nordick s! We ll be back, and we recommend it to anyone thinking about traveling to Lake George.

My wife booked us the Lake View room which was delightful and had a beautiful view, obviously. Nordick's is clean, has a great pool, and a cozy fire pit. For what it's worth the other visitors were kind, friendly, and happy. My kids spilled cracker crumbs all over the floor yet the room was miraculously spotless when we returned from our outing. Mid-day cleaning... just like the good ole days! The front desk was personable, and professional, a double-whammy. Special shout out to Jenn who made the stay feel more like a comfy New England Bed and Breakfast, then a bustling vacation getaway.

The room itself was average. Simple decor, nothing unexpected. The attendants at the desk were friendly and attentive. I chose to pay for a lake view king room. Be aware that if you pick this room, even in the winter there is no possible way to see any lake. A tree partially blocks the window and the buildings across the street block any other potential view. This is no different than any other standard room. I made the desk attendant aware, and am currently waiting on a call back from the owners or management. Will update this post when more has happened.

Beautiful place to stay. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Excellent customer service. Staff called to notify us that our room is ready, very helpful and pleasant. The deck with fire pit is such an inviting place to unwind after a long day of outdoor adventure. A really nice heated pool. Walking distance to the center of the village. Reasonably priced. This will be our go to place when we return to Lake George. I highly recommend it

Awesome place to stay at Lake George! Very friendly, courteous, and helpful staff that made our stay an extremely pleasant experience! Rooms were very clean, pool and fire pit area are beautiful and motel is located very conveniently at the end of LG village. The property is so pretty with beautiful flowers all around too. Motel manager was so knowledgeable of hiking and biking trails for us to try out and we enjoyed all of them! We highly recommend it!

Back again for third time this summer. Clean and pretty place. These new owners..kids are doing well and I'm glad glad for them. Miss seeing Kathleen and Mike on the grounds. Congrats to you both early on your upcoming wedding. Thank you so much for making sure our friends who stayed here got the champagne for their anniversary and birthday! Kathleen and Mike you are the best.

Great Place! Spent a week here with my family and was very happy with everything. The front desk staff was super nice and extremely helpful with local recommendations. The room was a little small but comfortable and the view from the balcony made up for it. Having access to the beach across the street at Scotty's made it all the more better. I highly recommend Nordick's.

Amazing!! Went with 3 other families for a few nights. Excellent stay. It s a motel, but clean and everyone is super nice. The pool is right outside rooms and is clean, has seating and heated. Each room has an AC and is made up nicely each day. Each room has a parking spot right outside room. Also, have access to Scotty s across street which has a pool, kid play ground and waterfront lake access. I would 1000% recommend to anyone looking to go to lake George. Also, walking distance to the town. Will be back!!

I wouldn t recommend this motel specially if you have a baby. We booked this for one night and called them earlier to accommodate decent room since we have a 3 month old. They gave us the worst room so called economical room according to them. When called them to swap a room since it barely had any window and it was almost in basement of the property they said they were fully booked although we did check in a bit early.If they give you room number 22, do not take it and go somewhere else. There are serval issues with the room.. the room was clean but a bit moldy and no fresh air as it had smallest window in the property. The Air condition didn t work, we had the worst sleep ever. The sheets were super old, they were clean but old. When you paying more then $200 for a night, i expect a decent kept bed sheets and comforter. The hot water was leaking through the faucet, so if you have a kid be careful when showering. There was no service there and wifi does not even work in their rooms. So pretty much it s hard to get network either way.So on a hot day, no air condition, small window where barely any wind could flow as this room was in the bottom of the hotel, bed was horrible, wifi didn t work, shower was horrible, mini vacation turned into tiring trip.Overall the front desk lady was nice but overall staying experience was horrible and we had no sleep.

Good and also underwhelming. Room was clean. Bring your own soap!!!!! It was half the size of normal hotel soap. Had trouble getting the water a decent temp in the shower. Pool was awesome. Restaurant not open this year even for take out.

Very clean rooms. The staff are all very kind and welcoming. You can walk right to town and yet it's quiet and you don't hear the nightlife. I really enjoyed the stay. There is a restaurant right on the premises. We enjoyed Breakfast with a beautiful view of the water. I will be booking with them again.The only downfall I have was the inconvenience of a smoker next door smoking on the stoop where my door was. It came in the room multiple times. It isn't the staff's fault though. It's the inconsideration of a smoker.

Nice place. The rooms are a little small, but clean. The shower had good water pressure and the water was hot. More counter space in the bathroom would be a big plus. The a/c worked well and the staff was friendly and helpful. Close enough to where everything is in town so you don't have to drive and c an enjoy a short walk to many of the events.

Highly recommended, very personal,professional staff!Very clean!!! Nice pool & location was good to village of Lake George, 5 to 10 minutes walk to village...Tucked away on hill, nice & quiet.And less than 10 minutes off of highway 87...Loved it!!!

We visited family staying at the motel. It was clean and comfortable. The views of Lake George from the rooms balcony we're great. My aunt and uncle have been staying at Nordick's for 20 years. The owner knows them by name and has always provided a great experience.

Great place to stay. Really clean, very friendly staff, food in restaurant amazingly good far enough to be in a quiet area, but close to the main area of Lake George. Reasonable room rates overall all a great place to stay.

Go here. It may not be the center of lake George but it sure is a great place to view the lake. I think their prices are a bit high..but such good service.clean room..and pool. Peaceful . walking distance to town..and there is a bus to town. Their restaurant has good fresh food. Give these young men a chance and a try. They have earned it.

Just had lunch at Blue Thirty Two at the front of the Inn. Wish they had their own listing on Google, but since they do not yet I will leave this great review here! Three of us went for lunch; we were staying across the street, saw it was new and thought, why not? We were not disappointed! We sat outside, though the instead looked recently remodeled and had a good sized bar as well! We started with the cheese fries as an appetizer - they were SO GOOD! Afterwards our party enjoyed a chicken parm sandwich, quesadilla, salmon blt, sweet tots, onion rings. All were excellent! Good sized portions at a reasonable price, excellent taste, and terrific, friendly staff! What a nice addition to the area! We wish them much success!

We went to Nordick's Motel on Friday left on Monday...was very clean, had a nice pool, bathroom was a bit small for me. It was refurbished so everything was clean...asked for iron and board for the room too. Close to everything, can walk to everything too...

The pillows were so hard that I had to ask for extra just to get comfortable at night, the pool was so salty and unclean, the tv was out of date and the remote did not work. Not what I was expecting to be staying at. They had so many rules in the rooms that I felt like I was at a concentration camp. Not to mention the slow wifi. It took an hour just for a Facebook status to load!

Wonderful place for a great price. Our room was lovely and immaculate. Very convenient location with a very nice restaurant right on the premises. Will definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

STEAR CLEAR!!! Place has bed bugs. Told management and they did nothing but move us to a new room and now we have bed bugs! The room we were in the booked someone else the next day after I told them about the issue.
