Would give zero stars if I could... I was rescheduled multiple times and finally got in more than three weeks after my initial appointment. I was told my appointment would be about an hour and forty five minutes, it took almost three hours... my car was ready for twenty minutes before anybody told me. I had to ask for my lug nut key back and when I did, they couldn't find it. They finally told me it was in my cup holder and when I got in my car I found that the e-brake was not on in my stick shift car.... Thankfully where they parked my car it was flat. My TPMS light came on when I was driving home because they put 30PSI in the new tires. The sticker on the drivers door clearly states that 35PSI is the proper pressure. Would buy tires from Walmart again in the future but will absolutely be going elsewhere for installation and I recommend you do the same.

It used to be a great place when the old manager Joe was working there. This year, however, I had some tires installed and balanced. After driving a while I realized I needed to rebalance them. they did was completely off, one tire was over 3oz off when I took it to a different place to get rebalanced.Service: TiresService: Tires

So I don't usually leave these reviews but I felt compelled to do so today. I've used the Kingston NY Walmart Auto dept many times in the past with no problems.Today, (on my Mon. day off and ONLY day I can get this kind of stuff done), I went there for an oil change. Previously they weren't doing appointments for oil changes so I would show up 1st thing in the morning and get it done right away.When I arrived, the counter girl told me they can ONLY do oil changes by appointment now! There were like one or two cars in the bays and they weren't busy at all, that I could see.When I asked why, I was told it was their service mgr's new policy. Guess when the next appointment was? A WEEK away on Nov 1st!She then apologized to me and said she had lost no less than 3 customers before me for the same thing. I don't blame her at all but the Service Mgr MIGHT want to consider that ASININE policy!I promptly called the Catskill Walmart location (about 20 miles north and a half hour away) and was told "come on up, we'll take you right in"! Not only were they much busier, they got me in and out in only 30 minutes flat. Now THAT'S what I consider customer service!As a side note, I mentioned it to the service mgr there who use to work at the Kingston location and he just shook his head and laughed saying "Yep, that's what the service mgr. is doing to them down there".It's a disgrace that I had to go way out of my way on my day off for a simple, routine 30 min. oil change. I arrived on time for my scheduled tire installation and was told my car couldn t be looked at for another 45 minutes. They were short staffed; I completely understood. The person working at the front desk was as kind and professional as could be given the circumstances. While I waited I couldn t help but noticed how frequently the phone rang and how often customers stopped in. The Auto Center was doing the best they could with limited staff. I left with 4 new tires and am happy to report I didn t notice anything wrong with my vehicle on my 20 minute drive home. Thank you to the folks at the Kingston Walmart Auto Center for a pleasant experience during these challenging times.Service: Tires

The people at the auto center were very kind in a bad situation. We drive an hour to get our tires on. It was around 1 pm, and they closed at 7pm. They were already full for the rest of the day and were not taking any more cars the rest of the day. Even though there were only 2 cars in the whole garage. We could not get our tires on that day. My husband went up on Monday, and waited approximately 2 hours, but was able to get the tires installed. I really wish they took appointments or allowed over time to have people that drive up to get taken car of. I know this isn't the employees fault at the location, but more of a logistics issue with Walmart management. This is something to consider for future updates. Especially, since you charge for lifetime tire rotations. If they are always busy how can you get your tires rotated?

I was very happy with them. I work nearby and even with 1 tech on, they were able to squeeze me in and have my car (tire) fixed by the end of my shift. And they were able to repair my tire for far cheaper than replacing it. A lot of places would have just told me I need a new tire to boost their sales. Very happy with the way it all worked out.

Used their service before and it was okay and not expensive. Discovered today they no longer make service appoints but are first come first serve. If I'm leaving work early or heading there after I want to know when my car will be serviced. I don't want to get over there and hope I don't have to sit for hours or come back another day.Services: Tires, Oil changeServices: Tires, Oil change

Absolutely terrible. We came here last night two hours before they closed and they only have two techs. (Doesn't bug me as much, but for us to stand in line for twenty to thirty minutes for them to skip over us for a guy who just walked in. That's when they thought it would be a great idea to tell us they are not accepting any more cars and to be here the next day.) Auto center told us 2 hours on our car, which is fine, but they didn't think to mention that it would take them 30 to 45 minutes to pull it in. We have been in Walmart for almost an hour after we gave them the keys and they are just now getting started. I wouldn't recommend using this Walmart Auto center unless it is absolutely necessary. Even then I'm not sure I trust them. Cause they take appointments for only certain people.

I got 4 tires and they got it done in less than 1 hour. Great people work in the Auto Center! They're very friendly and have a great attitude! Give them a raise!!

I just completed my survey thinking they would ask me to recognize some one and it never did so we going to do it here. I desperately needed an oil change and was told it would be a wait, not their fault it was busy. paul continually checked in with me and the men in the work area. Randy and Jose although swamped at the end of shift made sure I had a proper oil change and checked everything over. They were all busy all tired and at the end of a long hot day and were still very pleasant and helpful and spoke to me like I was the first customer of the day. Randy and Jose are an asset to this auto center I would be happy to have them service my car again. They had such great attitudes for the end of the day so helpful going above and beyond the call today! Thank you paul, randy and Jose, you guys are the greatest!! I really do appreciate all you guys did!!

Was told I needed to wait two hours untill a manager was availible to unlock the tire rack. It was 9:30 am and I unfortunately I had to get stern and demand that the tire manager, come over and unlock the rack. Mind you he was there the whole time. Both employees were rude. (Counter sales and the manager) I have never been treated like a second class citizen at walmart until now.

New tires on in an hour as promised. No charge to mount but $54 to balance. I even bought Road Hazzard for $40. With tax $ 103. all together. Tires very quiet and car going straight.

Myself and several of family members have had terrible experiences here. I got a simple synthetic oil change two weeks ago and just found that the drain plug was stripped and I am leaking a massive amount of oil. Spend the extra money and get a quality oil change, going here is not worth the risk.

The lady at the desk will not answer your calls. I went there because no one would answer the phone and she was standing there alone doing nothing. After my truck was done being worked on, I had to wait for her to mosey back in from wherever she went outside. Once she came in she talked to a coworker for 5 mins, then looked at me when she was done and said, "oh Ford Ranger? I think you're done." GEE THANKS. Also it took almost double the time she estimated when there was no other cars in the garage. 3 hrs to put on new tires, and the guy that came later for an oil change was waiting 2 hrs. Plenty of guys in the garage taking their time or not doing anything at all.

Subpar tire service - went in fine and came out with wheels unbalanced and the tire pressure light on.Customer service was OK, but they were ultimately unable to offer any material refund or rebate to remediate the situation.

I had a slow leak in 1 of the 4 tires I purchased 3 months ago. I waited and waited for them to tell me when my car was finished. I was told there wasn't any charge to that I responded..'I would hope not. I purchased my tires 3 months or 1,700 miles ago. Also, I asked to have my other 3 tires pressure checked, and guess what, I got home, took out my air gauge to check them and they ALL needed air!?!?!?

I like the auto center. I always get decent tires for a great price, it's fast and they're efficient. The rest of the store though? Yikes.

Had a nail in my tire and it was flat, they said I didn t buy the tire there so they would not fix it

Every single time I went in this place or called they kept saying they didnt have time to do my oil change. They weren't accepting any walk in and always short handed. I Wont be coming back.

Told me they had 4 tires in stock and could mount & balance at 7am Mon..took the day off from work..WHEN I GOT HERE..NO TIRES IN STOCK..NO RESPECT FOR THE WORKING PEOPLE...NEVER AGAIN

Add my oil change and a nightmare developed afterwards the oil filter was loose and the Bolt that holds the oil was loose as well
