I was so excited to head over to kingston glass as I have used them in the past and they were awesome . I walked in today . It was empty and two people were eating lunch. I said sorry to interrupt they said no problem . I asked some very simple questions and was met with one word answers and a really unhelpful attitude . I wanted to buy a big piece of glass from them for a picture window and had some questions about the process . The guy couldn t have been less helpful or more rude to me. It sucks cause I want to shop local, and this experience totally turned me off of this place for good ! I don t know what changed because they used to be the bomb - nice old school and helpful . Too bad. I won t be going there anymore .

I am often shocked at how disrespectful workers are these days. Paul was different--he was polite and did a great job AND cleaned up completely after himself, which is almost NEVER done these days, UPDATE: Sadly, they proved disappointing: we agreed to have them fix a few sash windows, they said they'd order the parts, then never got back to us after numerous attempts to connect. And that's just Disrespectful. So, yeah, great work when they did it, but untrustworthy.

Where not nice when I spoke to them on the phone. Brought the piece in for a estimate as I need it to match the original door. The young man and the owner were not friendly in the least and I would say down right rude and hostile. Both of them combined spoke no more than 5 words to my mother and I. The price seemed decent but I will never come to them for anything since they already have a bad attitude attached.Never have I experienced such horrid customer service ESPECIALLY with the owner being present.

I used Kingston Glassworks to do some work on my office in Woodstock a few years ago. I also had them out to look at a large project last year. When I called yesterday to engage them on the project the owner was rude and unpleasant, and said he's have to "pass" on the project. He said "something has happened" and he needed to get the business back on it's feet. I was really taken aback by his attitude and surprised that if the business was in trouble he'd pass on work. I own a local real estate company and refer a lot of local businesses to our customers. I've sent Kingston Glassworks tons of work. I will no longer refer Kingston Glassworks to anyone.

Spoke to Nicole on the phone. Best customer service I've had in a while! They didnt have the product I needed but she was extremely helpful and informative about the product, and even recommended another local shop that might be able to help me. Thanks!

Called for commercial service, sounded like I woke him up at 11:30am. He was rather short with me and he declined the work. At least the first impression saved me time.
