They do great work and honor the work they do. They'll tell you the honest truth every time no matter what. I won't use any other shop for my car. Hands down best mechanics in this area. They have had to come and pick up my vehicle in the middle of the night and never an issue. I will never use another shop as long as they are open!

I used filippos to fix my husband's truck, the reason for two stars is they did the exhaust and that looks to be done correct, but they were supposed to check the ac lines make sure there was no leak and charge the ac, well he failed at checking for leaks charged us for ac still not working because he filled it, but didn't have the pressure gauge to check the lines for leaks and we scheduled for that to be done.

Merchandise Stolen!!!My car was tied in kerhonkson by FILIPPO and whoever did the job must ve went shopping because it came back with many lost items i m sure was in there before it was towed. Cds, Chargers, etc. Even cords plugged in that I know didn t get lost by accident. Would not recommend in the slightest- if you re car gets towed by this company, don t expect your belongings back.

My fiance and I were headed this way for a job around 8a when our car literally stalled in the middle of the state park. No reception, but a kind limo driver stopped and said he would call us a tow. Thank... goodness... it was Filippo. They literally came within like 20 minutes, got us, and took care of the whole thing within like an hour.As out-of-towners, they saved us. Customer service was excellent. Didn't treat us weird or strange because we were out-of-towners. They were kind, honest, and really helpful.I only wish we lived closer to use them regularly!

Scam artists. I do most of my own car work, but I am not very good at diagnostics. I brought my wife's car in because it was bogging down and asked them to diagnose the problem and call me. That is all. When I didn't hear from them, I called the next morning only to find out that they had changed my wife's alternator already without my permission and were claiming that I owed them $350 for the job! I'm no fool. An alternator costs $100 tops and the job only takes 20 minutes. Even at the most expensive mechanic you're only looking at $30-50 in labor, and between that and a $100 alternator that should come to $150-180 tops, yet Filippos added an extra $200 on top of that because they thought they could take advantage of me. After much arguing and yelling about how I was being ripped off I finally convinced them to remove the alternator from the vehicle and put my old one back in since they never had my permission to do the job in the first place. They then proceeded to charge me ($65!!) for a diagnostic fee which is unheard of. I have never paid more than $20-40 for a mechanic just to tell me what is wrong with my car (if they even charge me at all). These guys try to take advantage of people who they assume have no knowledge of car repair. Little did they know I am no idiot. When I finally got the car back I ordered an alternator online for $80 and changed it myself in a matter of 15 minutes. These guys are con artists. I would never recommend this shop to anyone after this experience. Thank you.

The owner and everybody that works there are pretty easy-going good people they'll take care of your needs in the best way they are very flexible with everything they're willing to go far and beyond to help you

I got a catalytic converter put on there everything works fine very happy with the service that I've gotten and the staff is always courteous and kind I drive to kerhonkson which is about 40 miles to get my work done
