Courteous and helpful. They explained what needed to be done. They were quick and knowledgeable. There were other customers who were not kind. Cory and his staff were very patient and tried to be kind, but the rude customers were not making it. easy on them. They used patience in trying to explain things to the other customers. Will be back for new tires soon

They were able to overcome issues and finish my car within about a half hour or so (even though I came in around an hour before closing. Amazing customer service! I typically use a different local garage but I may have to switch after this experience.

Great place for any amount of work! Everyone is super nice, excellent technician service and they were so quick. They mounted, weighed and balanced all four of my tires within 20 minutes. Fantastic customer service as well and highly recommend to anyone in the area!

I had to have my car towed to the shop. Found that it was the LF CV axle that popped out. Repairs were swift and efficient. I was out the door the same day. Highly recommend their services!

Amazing!! I'm so greatful these guys are super friendly and super efficient! So far I've come here for my tires, rotors, inspections, headlights (they replace a front headlight in less then 4 minutes) and oil changes and never had any issues!! Great service , Thank you soo much!!

Worthless !!My 73 yr old mother s muffler s hanger must ve rotted away in our way home.Luckily we were only up the road from Monroe I walked in and explained what was happening and simply asked would you have some wire or anything I can just hang it with.Answer NOPE !!Not no or we are sorry but let me see what I can find it was just nope can t help you.Wait you re not a muffler shop and you don t have anything that could help us get home.Again NOPE !!I didn t get a name because one I was only in a tee shirt from laying on the cold concrete and slush and absolutely freezing and didn t want to ruin my clothes but more bewildered because I was told they had nothing that would help. Didn t even offer me any assistance or even pay being a muffler shop . That s not how a business especially one that advertises

Corey was the only one working that day I needed my breaks fixed and he got it done before 2pm for me and it was a good price he didn t over charge me just because I was a girl!!! I highly recommend him.

I came in earlier than my appointment and they took my car in. Cory was friendly and it was timely service as I was in and out for an inspection in less than 45 minutes with one other vehicle being taken care of.

Great experience! saw Cory about my suspension and he fixed it up in no time & explained thoroughly what the problem was and how he fixed it. Went there previously with my girls car as well and he gave us a great deal on All Season Tires, definitely recommend!

Brandon the manager was so calling and straightforward and explanatory it had a flat tire today's before and the service that came out and change my tire put my spare on but apparently they didn't tighten it this is what it look like which is under 50 miles on that rim I am so fortunate that I made it to the shop needless to say I was reimbursed eventually from AAA and they also handled themselves very well and worked with the manager Brandon for my reimbursement for the over $200 repair Brendan had me back on the road within 2 hours and even gave me a chocolate bar to enjoy while I was waiting

The WORST. This place deserves zero stars. They didn't even have my appointment in their system. The mechanic needed for the job had called in sick and I was not even notified. The "manager" was rude and condescending and very unprofessional. This place is a joke. My mom previously went there and they messed up her car, so they gave her a free oil change coupon and she won't even use it.... not worth it.

These guys are always great. Happy to answer questions. Wait time is minimal. Prices reasonable.Update: So it is our 3rd time taking our vehicle here. Consistently efficient,friendly, knowledgeable and fair priced!

Really nice guys but it took longer than needed to change 4 tires maybe they just had a hard day and I caught them at the end of it and they did do a proper job.

Was charged $130 for 5 quart full synthetic oil change. The price of 5 qt of oil is approximately $25-30. Labor on an oil change is not $100+ even though it took over a hour for the appt, that is not labor or full time attention to my vehicle. complete rip off.

I have been to Monroe on several occasions and have never had an issue being waited on, or any type or customer service complaint. Today I had a 4 tire swap and Dale was great. Thank you for always making my experience at Monroe pleasant. Billy has also been a great deal of help to me and I just want to say thank you for always doing your best.

Can see why the Amsterdam one was closed, switched garages after taking my car here to be serviced. Fuel pump went and they charged a bit over 1000$ for a new one which I thought was fine since they would have to drop the tank and everything. Turned out after 3 months that is was a used garbage pump and my car broke down during work. Contacted them and it was pretty much not their problem and no refund. Ended up taking it to the dealership to get another fuel pump this time being a new fuel pump and the guy even said it was a trash pump that was in it, paid another 1000$ but at least no issues after that. So yeah monopoly and don t trust this garage. Other garages nearby that can provide better trustworthy service.

Yes my vehicle failed not the reason for one star. The employees are great besides one guy that should not be there due to lack of knowledge of proper lift procedures and how to accommodate customer concerns. Guys late 20s and possibly assistant manager.

Took my car here to see what was going on there was a crunching and horrible noise. So my husband went and took it and they stated it was a rear differential and that we shouldn't drive it. So next day July 5th they took it in and the guy who worked on it was Cory guy. So they claimed it was fixed 1500 later so we pay and go on our way. 2 weeks later the car dose the same thing except its bucking and has a hard time backing up and going side to side. So I call that day tell the guy Josh what's going on he said yes bring it here know. So I did. Finally they look at it and they said we'll it's definitely the rear differential again so they apparent try a few things and the 3 guys there couldn't figure out what's wrong why it went, so I was told to call the store manager Cory in the morning that he was the one who worked on our car. I called the next day first thing and Cory answered I told him everything that's going on, he stated he never touched our car, that if he fixed it he is a grade A mechanic. And I asked him so your better then the other 3 that are there he said yes. So because it is under Warranty for 12 months he said I can't keep eatting rear differential parts and I can't guarantee that we can fix it that it could be something else but he would take a look at it to bring it in 2 days later so we did I also told him it is guaranteed that the part has a 12 month warranty, he said nothing. So bright it In he said yup it seems to be that part so we have to order it comeback Monday that we shouldn't drive it. So rented a car so we could still get to work and appts. Monday comes and I and my 2 year old sat from 830am till 3pm part came and Cory fixed it he said seems good. Next day we go to drive it and it is making the same noises and thumps. I called Josh to ask if I could please have Corp number,he said he will look it up and get back to me never did waited all day. Next day I call again I talk to Cory he said oh it happend again I'm sorry I can't give you the number, and i don't know what it could be im sorry. And that was it left us with a rear differential that is broken and with a 2 year old. Nice we try not to put him in the car when we can. I called a woman Liz at the customer service line she stated that's not right and he can't just say o well for 1500 and the car hasn't been fixed 2xs and know the third. So I have a number I called again today and got a Chaz lady from customer service and she is completely rude she answered after being on hold of 20 mins saying hello in a snotty tone I told her who I was that I would like to talk to.liz and I have my number for the complaint to just please hold on for a sec, she Immediately again snotty and loud says we'll what's the number so I gave it to her after I found it. I ask her what's ur name and in an almost wisper says something I say I'm sorry I didn't hear you and she yet again with a loud snotty reply it is Chaz. So I asked her if I could speak to Liz she said please hold so I hold for maybe 2mins and it hung up on me. What the hell is going on!!!!!!

Awesome experience - I called Corrie the manager and he gave a price quote right away and he gave me the best price out of all the tire places around Johnstown. I got in there at 8 and was out by 9. I was really happy and I will go back to Monroe for my next tires and muffler repai.

Gave me a quote for over $1800. I said I couldn t do that today and they kept dropping the price. Felt fishy so I went to Mavis down the road. They hooked me up and did everything for $600. I m so sick of garages trying to take advantage of people. I understand business is business but come on.

Made a appointment for 2pm was out at 3 . Corrie the manager was stressed since his assistant called out but he is definitely a multi skilled person. Kudos to him he definitely deserves the job function he has. Between dealing with customers and going out into the bay to help his crew. Absolutely top notch.

Monro in Johnstown is a priceless community neighbor. Travelling through town, I stopped by (over Memorial day weekend no less), I had an awful banging sound from a tire going over low speed bumps. Turns out both caliper bolts were gone! They got me in quick fixed me up and was on my way. The general regard they have from one person to another is priceless and virtually non-existent in most places these days. I could have had a disaster on my hands and they cared enough to fix it on the spot. You don't find that in the NYC metro area where you're charged premium just to look, assuming they'll even take the time to do that then wait until the schedule is free before they work on it. Thankful I crossed paths with them.

Was given the best holiday gift when they helped me out with a stuck lug nut for free right before Christmas Thank you Cory
